It feels like they've added a touch of color and a hint of mint to the original formula. Your lips feel soothed, and there's a subtle boost in your natural lip color. The texture is smooth and glides on easily without feeling greasy. The cooling sensation and mint scent might be hit or miss for some people. If you apply a generous layer on your lips before bed, it naturally softens dead skin cells overnight. When you wash your face in the morning, the flakes come off effortlessly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2020
I really enjoyed using this product. Thanks to the refreshing mint sensation, it was a pleasant change from regular lip balms that often feel greasy and heavy. The scent was lovely, and the cool tingle was a nice touch, making it comfortable to wear. The ingredients list is a bit disappointing. To be honest, I've never been a fan of tinted lip balms, but I kept using this one because of its invigorating sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2020
The tin case makes it convenient to carry around, and the pink color is really pretty. I bought the 3-piece set because it came with a tin case, but I probably wouldn't have purchased this product otherwise. While I don't dislike mint scents, I really can't stand mint flavors. Even though it's a lip product and you don't taste it, the scent makes me feel like I'm tasting mint. It also has a slightly burning sensation, which I didn't like. It creates an oily moisturizing layer but doesn't seem to absorb deeply, so the hydration feels a bit lacking. The texture is like thin Vaseline - sticky and melts easily when warm. Even in winter, it becomes too runny if you keep it in your pocket. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2018
It absorbs well, which I love, and the fragrance is absolutely delightful. The color is nearly transparent, but when applied it gives a plump, voluminous look. The mint scent is a bit strong, which might be hit or miss for some. The hydration doesn't last very long, unfortunately. You can use a cotton swab to apply it for a more hygienic application. I'm sure most of you already know this trick! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 20, 2017
I bought it because I liked the scent and the smooth feeling. It has good moisture content. I recommend it to those who want to apply it frequently without worrying about the amount. While it has a moisturizing feel, the lasting time is short. It is not recommended for those who want a short-lasting smooth feel. I mainly use lipstick and cream tint, and when I apply this lip balm after them, it makes my lips too glossy and difficult to apply. Applying it during work breaks gives me a refreshing feeling and helps me focus better:) - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2017
Great! This seems to be the best lip balm I've used so far. It's not greasy and is very moisturizing. The amount is generous, and I've been using it almost daily, but it still feels like more than half is left. Hmm.. After applying, it leaves a burning sensation, which some people dislike. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 1, 2017
To be honest, once you use the Rosebud Salve lip balm, you won't be able to use any other lip balms. The quantity is also amazing, so it'll easily last you a year. Although it's expensive at 15,000 won, considering the duration of use, it's better to buy this than three other lip balms. When your lips are full of dead skin, just apply this once and it'll all disappear. This is truly amazing - if you use other products after this, it feels like your lips are going to burst. But since my lips don't have much moisture, the mint is quite irritating for me and makes my lips even more chapped, so it's better to buy the original or a different one. Keep an eye out for sales at Olive Young. The 15,000 won product can be bought for 10,000 won. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 7, 2017
This is so great!! It's as good as Vaseline, and the scent is also nice, so I've been using it consistently~~ The white one is Mint Rose, so it can be a bit strong~, but I like that, so I've only been using the white one, and the blue one is just the Rose Lip Balm, so there's no strong sensation~ For first-time users, it may feel a bit sticky and irritating, but I actually liked that irritated feeling~It's not a burning sensation, but more like a minty feeling, where it feels soothing and refreshing!! If you don't like that irritated feeling, the same brand has a blue-colored Rose scented lip balm! I think that would be good to use. The white one is Rose Mint scented, haha When your lips are chapped and peeled, applying it is super effective! And not just for the lips, but if your skin is peeling and dry, you can use it like an ointment, and it works great! I personally highly recommend it! By the way, I've already used up 3 tubes of it, haha - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2016
My lips tend to have severe peeling, but I can say with certainty that the Rosebud products are a lifesaver for this issue. In the case of this product, which has a mint scent mixed in, when applied to the lips, the pungent mint aroma can be felt for about 5-10 minutes, along with a slightly burning sensation. This burning feeling is quite irritating to me, so I would not recommend it to those who dislike this type of sensation. I would instead suggest trying one of Rosebud's other scented products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 3, 2016
When I apply this lipstick, it controls the flakiness that I usually experience with other lipsticks. After applying it, I can layer a tint on top and it still feels moisturizing. When I use the strawberry flavor, there's no stinging sensation. I even gently pat it on areas where my makeup has accentuated flakiness, but since it's mint, I can't apply it all over my face. I'll try the original formula next time. If you apply the Lip Serum to the inner part of your lips and then use the Rosebud brush to apply it, the edges become blurred, creating a nice gradient effect.
