First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The lip balm comes in a generous amount, so it'll last you ages. I snagged a three-pack at the duty-free shop for a pretty good deal. The moisturizing power isn't particularly outstanding. There's a slight menthol scent. The only real issue is that the lid is quite tight, making it a bit of a struggle to open. You can apply it generously as a lip balm. Slather it on, wait about ten minutes, then wipe off the excess before applying lipstick. Your lips will feel wonderfully hydrated! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 18, 2019
It feels refreshingly cool when applied, and I love its moisturizing, lightweight texture. The scent is a pleasant blend of mint and rose, and the generous size means it lasts for ages. I've tried several Smith's lip balms, but this one is my absolute favorite. While it used to be easily available at Olive Young, it's disappointing that now we have to order it from overseas. Also, the tin case can be tricky to open if you have anything on your hands. For best results, apply a generous amount before bed and gently massage it in the morning. This routine ensures smooth lips, no matter what you put on them afterwards. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 25, 2018
I love how moisturizing it is and the refreshing minty sensation. Plus, the generous amount means it'll last for ages! Some might consider applying it with hands unhygienic. But I personally enjoy slathering it on generously, so that's not a downside for me. However, the tin case can be a real struggle to open if you have even a bit of product on your hands (like after applying emulsion). If it weren't for that, I'd be completely satisfied with this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 1, 2018
I absolutely love the refreshing mint scent - it's a great alternative to plain Vaseline. The cooling sensation after application is simply divine. One jar lasts a long time, and it's perfect for frequent use throughout the day. The lid can be a bit tricky to open sometimes. It's not ideal for on-the-go use, so I'll need to get a separate lip balm tube for when I'm out and about. Keep an eye out for sales at duty-free shops or Olive Young - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinOct 16, 2017
I used to have severe lip dryness that required me to buy lip balm every time I went out without it. I've tried many lip balms, but this one not only moisturizes the surface but also deeply hydrates the inner layers. Unlike other lip balms that only moisturize the surface, this one truly nourishes my lips all the way through. I used up an entire tube before and repurchased it. In the meantime, I've tried various options, but this is still the best for my dry, chapped lips. Although it may seem pricey, it lasts a long time, so it's worth it! There's no stickiness, and even when I apply a generous amount due to the refreshing mint, it doesn't feel heavy or stuffy - just cool and pleasant. The downside is that it melts very easily in the summer. Since it's a pot type, there are some hygiene concerns. At first, the mint feels incredibly refreshing, but that sensation seems to dull over time. If you apply too much, it can start to look oily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 2, 2016
The color is pretty and even. After application, there is a hint of mint that makes it feel slightly refreshing. I really liked that sensation. It's great that it lasts for a long time. I'm using the balm format, but the downside of the balm format is that the edges are difficult to apply, and when I try to apply to the edges, it tends to get on the outside. I really dislike the glossy look on my lips, so I only apply a small amount to the lower lip and then use my lips to spread it up and down. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 26, 2016
This is my fourth repurchase. I've used the original version, but I prefer the mint one. The mint version feels refreshing when applied, which I really like. It's a very large volume, so I thought it would last a long time, but I ended up applying it frequently, whether I was doing my makeup or not, and it was just the right amount. If you apply too much, it can get a bit greasy and shiny. I like to use it as a base before applying lip color with a cushion, and it makes my lips much more moisturized and nicer. And in the fall or winter when it's dry, if I apply a generous amount at night before bed, the next morning when I wash my face, the dead skin cells come off easily, so there's no flaky skin when I do my makeup. The only downside is that you have to keep opening it and applying it with your fingers, which isn't the most hygienic. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinFeb 29, 2016
Even in the summer, my lips get extremely dry without lip balm, so I always carry lip balm with me. Although it may seem expensive, it lasts longer than other stick-type lip balms, so I think it's a good product.😀 I don't really have any complaints. While others say they use up one container in 6 months, I used mine up in just 2 months.😂 - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 26, 2016
During the harsh winter when my skin gets really dry and flaky, I apply this and go to sleep. Unlike other lip balms that dry up completely by morning, this one stays moisturized even in the morning! The mint has a slightly strong sensation, so I apply it before putting on lipstick, and it helps smooth out lip wrinkles. The amount is very generous, and I just love everything about it. I'm on my second jar now! I'm really not sure... I guess since it's mint, it might sting a bit if it gets in your eyes? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2016
Among the lip balms I've tried, this was the best one. It has a minty and rose scent! Since it's minty, when you apply it, your lips feel refreshing and that feeling is so nice! If you apply it before bed and sleep, in the morning your lips will be dewy but well-moisturized~~ You can use it for over a year after buying it once, so in the long run, it doesn't seem that expensive!! You can apply it before putting on tint, and you can also apply it over lip gloss. After applying it once, it becomes slightly dewy. For those who don't like noticeable dewiness, it may not be the best option. Like all lip balms, if you leave it in a hot place, the lip balm will melt, which can be troublesome.. Haha!! Keeping it in a cool place is the best.
