It has a refreshing mint scent that feels soothing. The lip moisturizing power is incredible! The large size and pretty case make it great for carrying around. The price isn't particularly cheap compared to other lip balms, and it's not widely available in stores. Still, I'd consider repurchasing when I run out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 10, 2020
• If you enjoy minty scents and sensations, you'll love this. Personally, I prefer it over the original rose salve and strawberry version. • It provides excellent hydration. • You get a generous amount of product! • Due to the nature of the tin packaging, you need to constantly touch the product with your fingers, which raised some hygiene concerns for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2020
First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The lip balm comes in a generous amount, so it'll last you ages. I snagged a three-pack at the duty-free shop for a pretty good deal. The moisturizing power isn't particularly outstanding. There's a slight menthol scent. The only real issue is that the lid is quite tight, making it a bit of a struggle to open. You can apply it generously as a lip balm. Slather it on, wait about ten minutes, then wipe off the excess before applying lipstick. Your lips will feel wonderfully hydrated! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2019
I've been using this lip balm since high school... It's been 4 years since I graduated, and I'm still on my second tube! It's quite a generous amount and I think it's a pretty good value for money. Compared to the blue one, this product has a stronger peppermint scent and gives a cool, soothing feeling, so I use it often. While Carmex might be slightly superior in terms of hydration, I keep using this one because I love the scent and I've grown attached to it over the years. Although the color looks pink/red, it's actually almost colorless when applied, so it's suitable for men to use too. First off, the lid is really hard to open... So I always leave it slightly ajar or have to grip it tightly when it's completely dry to open it. Otherwise, you might end up wrestling with the lid all day long... Also, since it's in a pot rather than a tube, people who are very conscious about hygiene might find it inconvenient. Of course, your fingers will get messy when applying it, but I don't mind that - I just wipe them off with a tissue and I'm done. As always, slather it on your lips generously before bed, cover with plastic wrap, and wake up to super smooth lips! Also, be careful about storage - if you keep it in warm places like your pants pocket during summer, it will completely melt. If that happens, just pop it in the freezer for a few hours and it'll be good as new! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2019
Usage period: Over 2 years, used 3 containers Advantages: - Excellent for lip protection and as a lip mask - Moisturizing due to its petroleum-based formula - Suitable cooling effect for those who enjoy a mild minty sensation - Attractive case design that makes you want to use it - Perfect for rose scent enthusiasts - Large quantity allows for generous application Disadvantages: - Some may consider it less hygienic as it's not in a tube format (Can be mitigated by using a cotton swab or applying with clean hands) - The cooling effect diminishes as the product is used up - Higher price point (While not expensive for 22g, it may seem pricey when considering it as a single item) - Difficult to find (No longer available at Olive Young, requiring purchase from duty-free shops or individual sellers, which can be inconvenient) Apply a thick layer as a lip mask before bed, and wake up to plump, bouncy lips in the morning (Similar effects can be expected from other products with high petroleum content) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 18, 2019
It feels refreshingly cool when applied, and I love its moisturizing, lightweight texture. The scent is a pleasant blend of mint and rose, and the generous size means it lasts for ages. I've tried several Smith's lip balms, but this one is my absolute favorite. While it used to be easily available at Olive Young, it's disappointing that now we have to order it from overseas. Also, the tin case can be tricky to open if you have anything on your hands. For best results, apply a generous amount before bed and gently massage it in the morning. This routine ensures smooth lips, no matter what you put on them afterwards. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 25, 2018
I love how moisturizing it is and the refreshing minty sensation. Plus, the generous amount means it'll last for ages! Some might consider applying it with hands unhygienic. But I personally enjoy slathering it on generously, so that's not a downside for me. However, the tin case can be a real struggle to open if you have even a bit of product on your hands (like after applying emulsion). If it weren't for that, I'd be completely satisfied with this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 29, 2017
I bought the original, mint, and strawberry trio from the duty-free shop and shared it with my friends, and all 3 of them crowned it as their holy grail product. I used the large size for almost a year, and all 3 of us repurchased it, so what more can I say? It's great. Tin case and large size The tin case means I have to apply it directly with my hands or lips, which is unsanitary, and on top of that, the large size means I have to repurchase before I can see the bottom, which seems intentional... Also, the mint one melts easily, so when I first received it, it was all melted and stuck to the lid. My heart was already scratched before I even tried it for the first time. If you apply it generously before bed and sleep, your lips will be moisturized. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 20, 2017
I bought it because I liked the scent and the smooth feeling. It has good moisture content. I recommend it to those who want to apply it frequently without worrying about the amount. While it has a moisturizing feel, the lasting time is short. It is not recommended for those who want a short-lasting smooth feel. I mainly use lipstick and cream tint, and when I apply this lip balm after them, it makes my lips too glossy and difficult to apply. Applying it during work breaks gives me a refreshing feeling and helps me focus better:) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2017
⭐️Lifelong Favorite⭐️ This is a product I've repurchased more than five times. 1. Has a Radiant Effect When I apply this, it has a bit of a radiant effect, but I like the radiant look, so I really enjoy it. 2. Generous Amount It has an overwhelming 22g of product! I've never seen a lip balm with more volume than this one, except for Vaseline. 3. Lovely Fragrance Just as the name suggests, it has a Mint Rose scent. It's a slightly cooling rose fragrance, I'd say. The mint and rose notes blend together, so it doesn't just smell like toothpaste. 4. Leaves Lips Soft and Supple I've tried many lip balms, but this one is the most nourishing and softening for me. 1. Tube Version Has Less Volume Than Tin There is a tube version, but at 14.2g, the volume is smaller compared to the price, so I always end up buying the tin version. However, the tube version still has more volume than many other products. 2. Not the Cheapest Lip Balm While the volume is generous, the price itself is not the most affordable. It would be great if they could lower the price while maintaining the generous volume. 3. Inconvenient to Carry The large packaging and melty formula mean you might find a liquefied lip balm if you carry it around. This product was discontinued in Korea for a while, but it's back in stores now!
