  Houttuynia cordata extract is a favorite ingredient of mine for its soothing effects on irritated skin. Among the many products containing this extract, I found the Dajayon Houttuynia cordata line particularly impressive. It seemed to capture the essence of the ingredient well, as my sensitive skin felt refreshed and calmed when using it. Not only does it contain Houttuynia cordata, but it also includes other beneficial ingredients that provide hydration, which I really appreciated.

  I gifted this to a friend along with other cosmetics, and we tried it together. I have sensitive dry skin, while my friend has oily skin that's becoming dehydrated. First off, the Houttuynia Cordata ingredient can be hit or miss in terms of scent, but fortunately, this one has a pleasantly subtle fragrance. When applied to the back of my hand, it absorbs quickly while leaving the skin hydrated. There's no itching or irritation at all, making it comfortable for frequent use.

  Cons

  The product's effectiveness wasn't particularly noteworthy, and the plastic packaging might be a point of contention for some.

  My friend sent me a photo (though the color looks more intense due to effects, it's actually much lighter in reality). She says that when used as a mist from a spray bottle in dry indoor environments, it provides hydration and has a soothing effect!
