Thankfully, it didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsHowever, after applying, it feels a bit slick? It's like there's an artificial film on my skin... I'm still using it, but I'm not entirely convinced.

It really lifts my mood. First off, I feel like it's doing a great job of balancing my complexion. I stuck with heavy products all summer instead of switching to lighter ones, which led to blemishes appearing towards the end of the season. So I thought I needed something for my pores before the heat subsided, and this seems to work well with my skin. I also switched my cleansing oil and used this houttuynia cordata toner as an exfoliating toner after cleansing, which leaves my skin feeling refreshed. It provides enough hydration without feeling too tight, so I don't feel the need to quickly layer on other products. I think I'll be able to use this throughout the fall as well.
ConsIt seems more effective to use this as an exfoliating toner with a cotton pad rather than patting it on with your hands. Perhaps due to its focus on hydration, there's a slight slippery feeling, so I end up washing off any residue left on my hands with water.

I love the subtle herbal scent, and it's really gentle on the skin. It's excellent for both pat-on application and as an exfoliating toner, leaving my skin feeling refreshed. I find it works better when dispensed onto the hands for patting. Moisturizing toners are great for this method. The houttuynia cordata extract seems to have a soothing effect. Above all, just two layers leave my skin hydrated and moisturized. Despite its watery texture, it provides good hydration without feeling sticky. In the morning, applying this 2-3 times is often enough to skip the next skincare step. The bottle design is also pretty. I'd definitely repurchase when I run out.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but if I had to mention something, the toner tends to linger on the bottle when it drips. I think it might be due to its slippery texture.
TipPatting it on twice rather than once is great for addressing deep dryness.

But a friend told me that using a toner helps eliminate deep dryness, so I tried this one that seemed to offer both soothing and hydration. It's really great - no blemishes, provides deep hydration, and is genuinely good. After cleansing, I applied this toner first. I poured some onto my hands and used the patting method, which is supposed to be good for the skin without causing damage. I patted it in, waited for it to absorb completely, then layered it again 3-4 times. It really seems to have eliminated my deep dryness! Using a water-based toner makes me feel like I should keep using them from now on. I realized that my makeup was flaking because of the deep dryness. I've always loved Da Jung's serum because of its great ingredients, and their toner is just as good. My skin has become sensitive lately, but this doesn't cause any blemishes and is really nice to use without any issues.
ConsI didn't really notice any downsides, except that because I use the patting method, the toner bottle gets a bit messy. I try to wipe the bottle after use, but it's still a bit slippery and doesn't clean off completely. It's a hassle to wipe it with a wet wipe every time.
TipIf you want to get rid of deep dryness, I recommend layering it about 3 times.

I've bought and used the mask several times, and I loved it so much that I decided to get the toner too.
ConsIt feels a bit slippery. For someone with oily skin like me, it can occasionally feel a bit heavy... haha

I managed to snag it at a decent price during a sale, paying just over 10,000 won.
ConsFirst off, without a sale, the price seems quite high for the amount you get. Also, the scent is quite strong. I briefly used it in a refillable bottle, and the fragrance lingered intensely, refusing to fade away. While houttuynia cordata usually suits my skin well, this toner made me realize that hyaluronic acid definitely doesn't agree with me. Products containing hyaluronic acid, including this one, cause hard, non-squeezable blemishes to appear on my skin even with the slightest touch. After application, it leaves a slippery, slightly sticky residue on my hands that requires washing off. Despite its water-like texture, I suspect it's the hyaluronic acid causing this effect. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

I could immediately tell there was no irritation. I loved that it wasn't too runny like water. Despite being a toner, the formula feels really nourishing! As always, I can trust and use Dajayeon products with confidence.
ConsWhile it was effective for hydration and soothing care, I couldn't get past the slippery feeling. It felt too rich for my skin. Even shortly after patting it in, my skin would become oily... After a while, I also felt a slight itching sensation. So... unfortunately, I have to deduct one star. I think this product might be better suited for those with combination or dry skin rather than oily skin types.

The moisture boost it provides enhances the effectiveness of subsequent essences or creams. I also appreciated that it's nearly fragrance-free, which is perfect for those who don't like strong scents.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, those with oily skin might find it a bit slippery, which could be a turn-off.
TipIt's a versatile product that seems likely to suit a wide range of skin types.
