After cleansing, it effectively removes impurities while leaving the skin comfortably moisturized. Those who've been searching for the perfect powder cleanser can finally rest easy!
ConsWhile it's a bit pricier compared to other brands, I'm completely satisfied with no complaints.

Your skin becomes incredibly smooth and silky.
ConsThe container's durability is a bit disappointing. While it's optimized for powder form, it would be better if the packaging was made a bit sturdier.
TipYou can adjust the concentration to achieve your desired cleansing style. I personally add a bit more water for a gentler cleanse.

After washing, there's no residue left behind, and my skin feels brighter and clearer. It seems like the perfect cleanser to use these days when everyone's talking about fine dust pollution.
ConsI'm not sure if enzyme cleansers typically produce little foam, but this one doesn't lather much. Since it's a powder, I end up using too much at once, which feels wasteful.
TipIf you're concerned about dead skin cells or pores, try gently rolling it over those areas. You might notice a slight smoothing of uneven texture.

My skin type is combination, and I occasionally get pustular acne. Usually, when I use alkaline cleansers, my face feels very tight and my skin turns red. First off, I tried a powder cleanser for the first time, and it's amazing! It lathers well, is gentle, and I love it! As an enzyme cleanser, it gently removes dead skin cells without causing blemishes or irritating my skin. It definitely makes my skin texture smoother. Though it has granules, it doesn't hurt when rubbing it on the skin. Being a powder makes it great for carrying around. It seems like it would be convenient to take when traveling. It's light, and there's no risk of spilling. Even if you do spill it, it's just powder, so you can easily dust it off. I think it would suit most skin types well. I have sensitive skin, so I usually get blemishes right away if there are PEGs or other harsh ingredients! For cleansing effectiveness, please refer to the photo! It has similar cleansing power to Etude House's Soon Jung pH 5.5 Foam Cleanser.
ConsThere's really nothing to complain about! If I had to pick something, while it suits my skin well, the container is a bit awkward when dispensing the powder. It's not terrible, but it's slightly difficult to control the amount. Being a powder, they say it can clump if left in a humid place.
TipWhen I first received it, the container seemed a bit empty, so I thought it might be defective, but apparently that's normal! Although it's mildly acidic with a light feel, it does have an exfoliating function, so rather than using it daily, it might be better for your skin to use it two or three times a week.

I liked that I could cleanse gently in the morning without stripping too much moisture from my skin. It's great for removing fine dust, impurities, and dead skin cells all at once. For those who find skincare routines bothersome, it might be fine to use in the evening too.
ConsThe powder isn't as fine as expected, and it takes a bit of rubbing to dissolve and create bubbles. The lather isn't as rich as I thought it would be. Even people without blemishes might find their skin becoming sensitive due to undissolved powder particles. I wouldn't recommend it for those with acne-prone skin. If you still want to try it, use it occasionally or for quick morning cleansing. For the curious, I suggest testing it out first.

First off, I was really surprised that it's a powder, not a typical gel-like foam cleanser! Initially, I was a bit skeptical, but as I used it, I found that it has great cleansing effectiveness and doesn't seem to strip the skin's moisture, which I loved! It also felt like it was gently exfoliating my skin! Being an enzyme cleanser, it seemed to strengthen my skin barrier, and I was thrilled to see my blemish scars and small pimples gradually fading!
ConsThere's honestly nothing to complain about... I'm at a loss for words because it's so good!
TipOn days when I wear heavy makeup, I sometimes mix this with a mild acidic cleansing foam! I found that this combination is gentler on the skin while still allowing this cleanser to work more thoroughly!

I appreciated that it wasn't an artificial fragrance. + It has excellent cleansing effectiveness. It washes off cleanly and gently, with minimal deep dryness after cleansing. + I'm not sure if it's just me, but it feels like it cleanses mildly. I can see brown specks among the white powder - are those barley grains? They seem to have an exfoliating effect on dead skin cells.
Cons- With this powder type, controlling the amount used is crucial. Too little won't create enough lather, while too much will use up the product quickly. I found this challenging. - After adding water drops to create foam, if there's too much water, the lather runs off, and if there's too little, the powder clumps up. You really need to find the right balance when using it.
Tip* Rather than using too little powder and not getting enough foam, it's better to use about a 500 won coin-sized amount, shaking it out 3-4 times. Add just enough water to slightly cover the powder. This is the key to creating a good lather.

The packaging is sleek and clean, with a minimalist design that inspires confidence. I appreciate the straightforward 'Refreshing Enzyme Cleanser' description, rather than exaggerated claims about solving all skin issues. While the container isn't filled to the brim, it contains the stated amount. I used an oil cleanser first, then tried this powder. It doesn't foam as much as typical cleansers, but I liked that - it felt more natural and gentle. The scent is delightful, reminiscent of toasted grains. It's not a fancy fragrance, but a comforting, wholesome aroma. The texture when mixed with water is similar to using flour for cleaning, with a pleasant, earthy feel.
ConsThe natural exfoliant isn't too harsh. When mixed with water, some granules remain, providing a gentle scrub. It's not intense enough to be considered a dedicated scrubbing product. The best part came after rinsing - unlike foam cleansers that leave my skin feeling stripped and desert-dry, this left my face feeling moisturized. That's a huge plus. Though I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, I plan to keep using it regularly.
TipI tested its cleansing power on its own. Since I don't wear heavy makeup, I used an eyebrow pencil. It removed it well, but as someone who believes in thorough cleansing, I'd recommend this as a second step for those who wear more makeup. In conclusion: Highly recommended for natural skincare enthusiasts who prefer light makeup. It works hard to keep your complexion balanced without stripping the skin's moisture.

As a first-time tester, I'll give you my honest opinion! Using a powder cleanser was a new experience for me, and I found it fun and exciting every time I used it. I was really satisfied with this innovative format. After cleansing, my skin felt incredibly refreshed, as if it could breathe again. It felt like all the invisible grime and bacteria were being washed away. I think it's because of ingredients like black barley extract, enzymes, rice powder, and walnut shell that it seems to effectively remove dead skin cells and impurities from every nook and cranny of my face. Above all, I loved how it seemed to brighten my complexion.
ConsThe first time I used it, I accidentally poured out too much, causing the powder to scatter a bit.
TipI cleansed my face with a cleansing water before using this product. Also, I found that dissolving the powder in slightly warm water created a rich, beautiful lather.

Product Features First off, as an enzyme cleanser, it differs from regular foam cleansers in that it's a powder type. Due to its enzyme components, it cleanses more thoroughly than foam cleansers. It has tiny granules (non-irritating) similar to a scrub, which work well for cleansing areas prone to blackheads, like around the nose. Unlike foam cleansers where you might feel like you're just washing with bubbles, this powder type requires a dissolving process, resulting in a more meticulous cleanse. I first encountered enzyme cleansers at a dermatologist's office during my teenage years when I struggled with acne. The scent is similar to what I remember. Enzyme cleansers were effective for my blemishes, as the enzyme component is said to help with acne inflammation. I recommend this for those with blemish-prone skin! For some reason, all brands seem to offer enzyme cleansers in powder form. Perhaps this is the most effective format? The formulation requires a dissolving process, so it might not suit those who find any extra steps bothersome. There's a distinct nutty scent typical of enzyme cleansers, possibly due to the barley content. Personally, I enjoyed the fragrance. 2. User Experience and Effects The product claims to be excellent at removing fine dust, so I deliberately used more of it on days when air pollution was bad or worst. I usually follow up my cleansing with an exfoliating toner (vitamin C or low pH toner pads) before applying a viscous skin. On days when cleansing isn't thorough, residue sometimes shows up on the toner pads. When using this cleanser, I never saw any residue on my toner pads, even on days with high fine dust levels. It seems suitable as a second cleanser in terms of cleansing effectiveness. Given its fine dust absorption and tiny scrub particles, I only used it for evening cleansing, not in the morning. Now in my 30s with dry skin, I find that using a strong foam cleanser or second cleanser in the morning can be quite drying. So, I recommend this for evening use for those with dry skin! And for those with blemish-prone skin, I really recommend enzyme cleansers. I saw results when I struggled with blemishes, and enzymes are said to help with acne bacteria and inflammation. Even dermatologists recommend enzyme cleansers.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but if I had to pick one thing: Being a powder type, it tends to clump when dissolving. Trying to dissolve it directly on the face by rubbing can be a bit time-consuming and inconvenient. Apart from the clumping issue when dissolving, there weren't any real drawbacks as its cleansing power and effectiveness were good. The price, while higher than regular foam cleansers (as is typical for enzyme cleansers), wasn't prohibitively expensive. Overall, it was satisfactory.
TipFor those with dry skin, I suggest just rinsing with water in the morning and using this product as an evening second cleanser. It's great for removing fine dust too!
