This is absolutely amazing! Ever since Innisfree's Sea Salt line was discontinued, I've been unsatisfied with everything else I've tried. I really hope they keep selling this! I'm writing this review to spread the word and prevent it from being discontinued. I plan to use this for life! There are absolutely no downsides. None at all. There's nothing to complain about. Nothing. - gp*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 15, 2025
It's gentle and has excellent cleansing effectiveness. I've been using it for over half a year and haven't found any drawbacks. I haven't discovered any cons yet. If I find any later, I'll update my review... - sj*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 27, 2025
It makes the skin texture feel moisturized and soft rather than rough. It doesn't lather well when rubbed with hands alone. It's better to use a foaming net. - mu**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
Good value for money (well, maybe not quite). Anyway, it's decent enough. I'm satisfied just because it doesn't cause any blemishes. It's best to use just a small amount, work up a good lather, and then apply. That way it feels gentle and nice. Otherwise, your skin might feel a bit dry. Agreed with the above - by********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 21, 2025
I have combination dehydrated, sensitive skin. As the name suggests, this skin type lacks moisture, so it's dry underneath while being oily on the surface, with thickened dead skin cells. Even when applying the best moisturizers, the dead skin cells prevent the active ingredients from being absorbed, leaving the skin dehydrated inside and oily outside. That's why exfoliation is crucial. Personally, chemical exfoliants (AHAs) didn't work for me, so I needed physical exfoliation. That's when I found and purchased this enzyme cleanser. In conclusion, it was quite effective. Using the enzyme cleanser in the morning and a BHA cleanser at night helped manage dead skin cells and sebum to some extent. When combined with a suitable moisturizer for the season, it improved my deep dryness. It took a while, but it worked! Given that it contains particles, it's not entirely free from skin irritation. However, this is characteristic of enzyme cleansers! If it feels too harsh, try mixing it with more water to dilute it thoroughly before use, or alternate it with a milder cleanser. (Additional note) Absolutely avoid using this when your skin barrier is compromised. Also, for those with flat warts, be cautious as improper use could potentially spread them across your face. In such cases, I recommend using a mild cleanser instead. - dp*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2025
I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, and refreshed after cleansing. It's great that there's no tightness, and it even seems to remove dead skin cells. My complexion looks brighter too! The only downside is that the amount is too small. Other than that, I'm satisfied. - ch********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedOct 6, 2024
After reading the reviews, I'm thinking I should have bought this product sooner. I was using a black powder from Japan and thought this would be similar, so I ordered it. It's supposed to have the advantage of reducing skin irritation, which is nice. I'm not sure if it was on sale or what, but I managed to order it at a good price. I switched from the individually packaged ones, which create constant waste and can be tricky to open with wet hands, to the one in a container, which I like much better. I'm not sure if the powder not dissolving well is intentional. When you put the powder in your hand and rub it with a bit of water, it should foam up, but the foam is nowhere to be found. Naturally, the granules don't dissolve properly and go straight onto your face, which is really disappointing. I bought this to remove my moisturizing sunscreen, but having to double cleanse every day is a bit much... I don't know. I think I made the wrong choice. I wonder if I should dissolve it with warm water. I tried washing my face a few times with the hot water running, sprinkling the powder, but both the granules and foam disappeared. I'm trying to save on the gas bill by washing quickly, but maybe I need to change my habits. - vi******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 18, 2024
Decent product with a reasonable price and surprisingly generous amount. If you have sensitive skin, try using an enzyme cleanser. Not sure if it's exceptionally great, but it's good enough for everyday use. - dl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 3, 2024
I bought this on sale for exfoliation and use it occasionally. It works well for removing dead skin cells. Sometimes the granules don't dissolve completely, which can cause irritation on the face. You need to make sure it's well-dissolved before use. My mom mistook this for a regular cleansing foam and used it daily, which caused her skin to react badly. It's an enzyme powder, so it shouldn't be used every day... Just once a week is enough! - ks******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 23, 2023
It lathers up well and is excellent for removing dead skin cells. You can really feel how soft it makes your skin. And the best part? The price! It's such great value for money. I can't think of any downsides. I just hope it doesn't get discontinued. I'll definitely be repurchasing when I run out. To quickly transform the white granules into foam, try using warm water when lathering.
