I loved how my skin looked clean and fresh as soon as I applied it I rarely get blemishes, but this product caused my skin to break out for the first time ever... - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 3, 2024
I use shade 23 for my complexion. I have warm-toned, dry skin with no acne scars but some pigmentation. This product gives me a natural, healthy-looking glow. However, after using it once and going outside in over 30°C heat, my skin completely flared up. I wiped off sweat with a handkerchief, reapplied the product in the car, and continued my activities, but blemishes appeared. Small bumps emerged and haven't subsided. My skin hasn't returned to its original state. I noticed Ol*ve Y*ung was flooded with praise for this product. I rarely experience skin reactions. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. Only use this if you have exceptionally good skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 1, 2024
Gorgeous! No darkening and no breakdown - it made my skin look amazing. I thought this was my holy grail cushion. For the first time in my life, my skin completely freaked out. It's been a month and I'm still not recovered... Inflamed, pus-filled blemishes have taken over my forehead, temples, jawline, and even my nose. Using steroids has made my pores look huge, and it doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm at my wit's end. It's quite a talent to destroy skin this badly in just a week. I can't even warn just sensitive-skinned people not to use this. I don't even have particularly sensitive skin, yet it still wrecked me... Only those with skin of steel should use this. I truly can't go out in public right now. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2023
Evens skin tone nicely, giving a peachy complexion. That's the only good thing about it though. You're better off using something else. Not sure if it's the ingredients, but using this alone wreaks havoc on my skin. I got blemishes after using it, so it became a drawer dweller. I tried it again recently when my skin was in good condition, but sure enough, my face completely broke out. Never using it again. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinNov 13, 2023
The moment I applied it, it effectively neutralized yellow undertones. It didn't just brighten my complexion; it gave me a beautiful, natural glow. I was extremely satisfied with its performance. I was shocked to find that even though I don't usually have sensitive skin, this product caused tingling and irritation. Despite its good performance, I can't use it often. After each use, I need to spend days calming my skin. I found that using a different, well-suited puff instead of the included one yielded much better results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2023
My skin looks beautiful and the complexion is naturally evened out, which I absolutely love! I wonder if it's because my skin is super sensitive... Whenever I use only the Ameli cushion, my face keeps breaking out and I get what seems like an allergic reaction... So even though it's pretty, I can't use it and it's just sitting there unused. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 17, 2023
It creates the most beautiful skin finish. The coverage is natural and lightweight. As expected, the coverage is practically non-existent. In my case, it irritated my skin so much that I had to stop using it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2023
The complexion it gives is truly beautiful... That's why it's such a shame... I'll have to find an alternative product I really wondered why my skin suddenly flared up, and after careful consideration, I realized it was this... This was the only new product I added, with nothing else changing. Looking at other reviews, I see similar experiences... I ended up going through so much trouble, even having to visit a dermatologist. I originally had skin without blemishes, but it inexplicably broke out. I thought maybe my immune system was weak, so I foolishly bought even more. I'll have to sell these on the secondhand market - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2023
I've never felt my skin look noticeably lighter than my natural complexion with most brightening moisturizers, but this product is the only one that actually made my skin appear visibly brighter than my original tone. On the first day of use, I felt some itching on my face but didn't think it was from this product. By the second day, after removing my makeup, I noticed rash-like bumps all over my face. Even my forehead, which has never had blemishes before, broke out. It's been years since I've had cystic acne, but after using this, I developed some around my chin area. I deeply regret not checking the Hwahae reviews before making this decision. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2023
No darkening effect. Other than that, I can't think of any positives... The advertising... sigh... I have pale skin with no yellow undertones but some redness. I tried not to fall for Instagram ads for weeks, but I got swayed by the comments and gave in... I'm seriously regretting it and kicking myself. If it was just about poor staying power or coverage, I wouldn't be this upset, but... my skin is breaking out too. I feel like crying. This is the only skincare product I changed. When I first applied it, there was absolutely zero coverage. Even though I have fair skin, it just sat on top. I thought, 'Great, I've been duped again and wasted my money.' Not wanting to waste it, I tried using it like a brightening moisturizer under my cushion foundation. The darkening effect was minimal, so I used it for about 3 days. Then a couple of blemishes appeared, and suddenly they spread everywhere. I have super sensitive skin, so I rarely change my cosmetics... I spent a fortune on skin boosters and regularly visited the dermatologist. My skin was finally improving, and I was feeling good about it. Then I used this, and it all went down the drain. No matter how much ointment I apply, the blemishes won't go away. It feels like I've wasted all the money I spent at the dermatologist, and now I have to go back again. I don't usually write such long reviews, but I'm so angry about the false advertising. I could just think 'it doesn't suit me,' but the exaggerated ads make it even more infuriating. This experience has made me vow to always be skeptical of social media ads... Those with super sensitive skin should think carefully before purchasing...
