Definitely brightens with a radiant color / Reasonably priced and affordable Tends to clump slightly, so the application isn't ideal / Doesn't have great staying power or adherence / Doesn't wear off gracefully - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2023
The skin finish is so beautiful it makes up for any other drawbacks. While it doesn't cover blemishes, it does a decent job of concealing pores! I think this would be fantastic for people with already good skin. (I use it even with my blemishes because the overall skin appearance is so pretty!) I have combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, but I didn't really feel any dryness with this! It might look a bit white when first applied, even with controlled amounts, but it becomes more natural over time. It's best to use when you have some time to spare. It really irritates my eyes (I suspect the sunscreen ingredients are the culprit). I always set my eyelids with powder, but for some reason, this keeps caking up - perhaps the ingredients don't mix well. As someone who uses matte eyeshadows, I'm torn between giving up one or the other... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2023
It's so hydrating! After patting it in and waiting 20-30 minutes, it naturally adheres to my skin, beautifully enhancing my complexion. It doesn't look cakey at all! Don't expect much in terms of coverage. There might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin, as I always get a small blemish on my chin the night I use it. If it doesn't match well with your base skincare, it can pill on the skin like dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 31, 2022
I have very pale, extremely dry skin and use shades 13-21. I love how incredibly hydrating this is! When applying for the first time, use small amounts. Initially, it may seem like there's no brightening effect or too much, but after a while, it adheres to the skin naturally, looking seamless. There's absolutely no darkening, so I highly recommend this to those with fair complexions looking for a brightening moisturizer! While I don't have many blemishes, this doesn't cover occasional breakouts. However, it evens skin tone well, so you'll need to use concealer for spot coverage. One downside is that if you don't prep your skin properly or skip powder (especially in summer), the base can slightly pill, sometimes clumping around the eyebrows or edges of the face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2022
It applies beautifully, giving a radiant finish at first. The initial application looks lovely. However, when you try to touch up, it pills, making it impossible to reapply. Recently, I hadn't been experiencing any blemishes, which made me wonder why. But after stopping use, my skin is starting to clear up. Several large, possibly inflammatory blemishes had appeared. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 29, 2021
I really wanted to make this work, so I've been trying different methods to use it. I have a light yellow undertone, normal skin with concerns about dark spots and fine lines around the eyes. After a disappointing experience with another product, I boldly chose this one, still hoping to escape my yellowish tone. I'm currently experimenting with different base products and sunscreens to find the perfect combination. The color is beautiful, giving a cool, youthful appearance as if I've used a filter. I just can't give up on this shade... I hear it's being reformulated, so I hope they improve the adherence, fine particles, and longevity while keeping this exact shade. I'd definitely use it again if they do. Sigh, the adherence is disappointing. If you press the puff too hard, it leaves marks. Trying to blend those out creates even more patchiness. You need to be extremely gentle, tapping very lightly to create an even layer. Even then, you can't let your guard down. Touching up is also difficult. The longevity is lacking. It wears off unevenly - staying white around the nose while disappearing around the mouth, making you look yellow. It's frustrating when it's hard to touch up. I find myself checking the mirror several times a day. The particles seem a bit large, not covering dead skin cells well. Dry skin types might feel some dryness during the day. After two weeks of use: Using the black puff that came as a gratis gift with a full-size Amelie purchase has improved the adherence issues mentioned above. Now it might even be too glowy. Use a hydrating base, but be careful with overly rich products as they can cause pilling. Apply very gently, tapping lightly to cover. If you decide to purchase, I strongly recommend using it with the black Amelie puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 20, 2020
Is it even there? Well, the color is a pretty light cool pink. The color is the only nice thing about it. Surprisingly, it looks better on slightly dry skin without any skincare. That's about it. Edit: Oh, I just didn't know how to use it properly! If you use a tiny amount and pat-pat-pat it on gently, it's absolutely gorgeous... Am I a peach blossom or is the peach blossom me? ... Amélie, I love you.... If you dip in too much and slather it on, it'll all separate and clump up, making you look a bit ghostly. Just follow my method and you too can have cherry blossom skin on a spring day, totally possible! Go ahead and buy it. Apply a super thin layer of concealer first, then put this on top, and it's absolutely perfect!
