As someone with light cool-toned combination skin (not too dry or oily, but suits a glowy finish) in shade 19, I find this foundation creates a beautiful skin-like finish with a nice glow. It's moisturizing and, best of all, evens out my complexion beautifully. It's truly disappointing that I can't use it due to blemishes. Why, oh why did this have to happen?! I used this for about 3-4 days recently, and from the very first night, my face started itching and small and large blemishes appeared. I've never had issues with blemishes before, and even if I got the occasional spot, it would disappear after a good night's sleep. But while using this, the blemishes kept increasing and the itching got worse. After stopping use, my skin is slowly recovering. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2024
This would be great for those who don't suit or prefer not to wear heavy makeup For combination dehydrated skin (oily T-zone, extremely dry elsewhere). At first, I got tiny bumps on my chin, then blemishes spread to my forehead, around my nose, and cheeks. This is the first time in 6-7 years I've had such skin issues. This product was the only change in my routine. After reading reviews on Hwahae and Olive Young, I realized this was the culprit. I'm throwing it away immediately! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2024
It naturally brightens your complexion with a subtle, natural rosy tint. Without powder, it turns into an oil slick after about 3-4 hours. Also, as someone with sensitive skin, my blemishes got much worse. Make sure to use powder, and I don't recommend this for super sensitive skin! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 2, 2024
It feels moisturizing and seems great for when you need to reapply sunscreen frequently while out and about My T-zone and chin tend to get oily, but with this, it feels even more pronounced... Plus, after using this, I noticed more blemishes popping up.. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 17, 2024
It brightens up my skin and even with just a small amount, I turn into a peach! Haha! I think it's causing breakouts. Rather than the makeup absorbing into my skin, it feels like it's just sitting on top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 5, 2024
The color of this product is beautiful. I'm using it because it's hard to find a suitable alternative. I'm worried because I've been getting blemishes after using it. I wonder if the ingredients aren't good for my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 4, 2024
I loved how my skin looked clean and fresh as soon as I applied it I rarely get blemishes, but this product caused my skin to break out for the first time ever... - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 3, 2024
I use shade 23 for my complexion. I have warm-toned, dry skin with no acne scars but some pigmentation. This product gives me a natural, healthy-looking glow. However, after using it once and going outside in over 30°C heat, my skin completely flared up. I wiped off sweat with a handkerchief, reapplied the product in the car, and continued my activities, but blemishes appeared. Small bumps emerged and haven't subsided. My skin hasn't returned to its original state. I noticed Ol*ve Y*ung was flooded with praise for this product. I rarely experience skin reactions. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. Only use this if you have exceptionally good skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2024
It really gives a beautiful skin finish. I bought it for the glow rather than coverage since I don't have blemishes. My skin is gradually getting worse. Small blemishes have appeared on my forehead and cheeks. Fortunately, they're not severe, and applying medication is helping to calm them down. The purple cushion didn't cause this, but this one does... - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 1, 2024
Gorgeous! No darkening and no breakdown - it made my skin look amazing. I thought this was my holy grail cushion. For the first time in my life, my skin completely freaked out. It's been a month and I'm still not recovered... Inflamed, pus-filled blemishes have taken over my forehead, temples, jawline, and even my nose. Using steroids has made my pores look huge, and it doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm at my wit's end. It's quite a talent to destroy skin this badly in just a week. I can't even warn just sensitive-skinned people not to use this. I don't even have particularly sensitive skin, yet it still wrecked me... Only those with skin of steel should use this. I truly can't go out in public right now.
