It naturally brightens my complexion! When I'm too lazy to put on makeup, I just apply this and head out. It feels slightly irritating on my skin... I wouldn't say it's particularly gentle. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2022
It's literally so hydrating! The brightening effect is natural, and the ingredients are great too. However, as someone with super sensitive skin, I developed two or three blemishes each day after using it. They went away when I stopped using the product. Those with super sensitive skin should avoid this, but people with good skin will likely achieve a radiant complexion with this brightening moisturizer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2022
I've been using this consistently. It naturally brightens my complexion before foundation and absorbs beautifully. I can't understand why it's been discontinued. Is there any chance it could be relaunched? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2022
Why is this discontinued...??? So sad! It's beautiful. The color is natural. Usually when you use a brightening moisturizer, it makes your skin too pink, creating a noticeable difference with your neck, and it settles into pores, dries out the skin - it's a mess. But this one, even though I have extremely dry skin and it's winter, I didn't feel any dryness. It applies smoothly, evens skin tone without looking artificial, and while it does fade a bit over time, it doesn't separate or settle into pores. There's no pilling either. It was so good that I wanted to buy it again, but now it's discontinued. After using this, I'm not sure if it's the cause, but... I got blemishes on my cheeks. My face felt a bit hot too. I also changed my cleansing routine, so it might not be this product, but my previous routine never caused issues when removing makeup. So it must be this... What a shame. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2021
My skin type: Sensitive and acne-prone. With summer bringing chaos to my acne, I was looking for a product that's moisturizing but leaves a matte finish. This product fits the bill perfectly! It feels like an emulsion when applying, but leaves the skin feeling powder-soft afterwards. The brightening effect is on point! While I love this aspect, it's also a bit of a drawback. It does become more natural-looking over time (though it takes a while). Considering the price, it's not bad, and the strong brightening effect means you use less product. This leads to it lasting longer, haha! It feels like this lasts twice as long as other sunscreens of the same volume. Good! I wanted a natural brightening effect, but was disappointed to find I looked like a kabuki actor after application. Using a tiny amount doesn't provide enough sun protection, but using enough for proper protection makes my skin look too white and difficult to apply. If your skin isn't in good condition, or if you touch your face after application, it pills badly. It comes off like a sort of residue or eraser dust. The brightening effect is out of this world, so be careful with the amount you use! -> It's better used as a brightening moisturizer rather than a sunscreen, haha. You might have to give up on sun protection. Only use on days when your skin is in good condition -> The brightening effect makes any skin imperfections very noticeable. Don't touch your face after application -> If you touch or rub your face, it comes off like residue. If you follow these tips, you should be able to use it effectively! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2021
Perfect for a foundation-free makeup look! I use shades 17-19, and this product brightens my complexion naturally without feeling heavy. It's great for that 'no makeup' makeup look! The SPF is quite high too. It has a nice hydrating feel and absorbs well, leaving no greasiness and feeling fresh. I love the product itself, and the price is a steal - talk about value for money! If you're looking for something that brightens, protects from UV, uses mineral sunscreen, doesn't dry out your skin, and is budget-friendly, you can't beat this. It doesn't pair particularly well with foundation. I mainly use it for foundation-free makeup looks! It's cheaper on Coupang - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 9, 2021
Feels like it naturally brightens and evens skin tone while keeping skin hydrated. Affordable price. The tube packaging is convenient for clean application and easy to carry around. The cap is user-friendly, making it simple to open and close. Not particularly sure about any drawbacks. Need to apply carefully while looking in a mirror. If not spread evenly, it can leave a white cast. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2021
It evens out my skin tone naturally and has great adherence, so I'm really enjoying using it Despite its name suggesting moisture, it feels dry when applied, so you need to spread it carefully - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2021
What I loved about this sunscreen is its smooth texture that absorbs gently into the skin. It provides a natural brightening effect and offers great value for money without breaking the bank. It's perfect for a foundation-free look and doesn't irritate my skin at all. The downside is that it contains fragrance, which is disappointing. It might be challenging for those with oily skin to use, and its staying power isn't great, so you may need to reapply. Etude House often has great sales. Take advantage of their events! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2021
It applies smoothly, and even though I don't wear much makeup these days due to masks, just applying this gives a natural brightening effect that I really like. For the first couple of days, I noticed a few blemishes, but I didn't think much of it since my oily skin is prone to acne. However, from the third day, my entire face suddenly broke out. I had to visit a dermatologist for oral and topical medications to finally calm it down. It seems this product doesn't suit oily skin types.
