This is truly a holy grail product, it's such a shame it's been discontinued. I have extremely dry skin, but when I use this after a solid skincare routine, I don't even need makeup anymore... Apart from being discontinued... being a bit drying... and having quite severe white cast... it's absolute perfection Apply it after your skincare routine for best results. It's amazing for a foundation-free look. I'm really disappointed it's gone - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 16, 2021
It turns super white even with just a small amount, so you don't need to use much. The product seems to last forever! The white cast was extremely severe. On my dry skin, it felt incredibly drying and the absorption was poor. Even when I applied it immediately after moisturizing, it was difficult to spread and left white patches. I tried misting my face first and then applying, but it still felt like oil and water separating, leaving uneven and clumped areas. It was especially troublesome around my eyebrows, where it left white residue. I couldn't bear to keep using it, so I switched to a sunscreen without white cast. If you find it too dry and hard to spread, try applying it after spritzing your face with a mist! - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 5, 2020
It absorbs well with a smooth application, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. I think using this sunscreen might be causing breakouts. The white cast seems to be moderate to strong. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 1, 2020
It feels incredibly moisturizing when applied, almost like an emulsion! It really helps with brightening the skin. Plus, I love that it's not too oily. The white cast is quite noticeable, but not in a flattering way. It leaves a grayish or slightly purplish tint that's not very appealing. Also, there's a distinct cosmetic scent that's a bit strong. While it feels hydrating at first, it tends to dry out my skin over time, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2020
I decided to purchase this product after Director Pi's channel mentioned its ingredients were good. While using it, I haven't experienced any blemishes due to the ingredients. The white cast is really severe, and it leaves a very oily finish. I apply sunscreen once in the morning and once in the afternoon, but using this product twice makes my face so white that I feel embarrassed to go outside. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 4, 2020
It's a mineral sunscreen. There's a white cast (which makes it great as a makeup base too). The downside is that the white cast can be noticeable, sometimes making your face look a bit ghostly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 7, 2020
I love how it's moisturizing while brightening my complexion. Even when I pat it on with a puff instead of my hands, it still feels hydrating. In autumn and winter, I apply this product, then lightly dab on some concealer, and finish with powder before heading out. It's my go-to routine because it keeps my skin hydrated underneath while feeling fresh on the surface. We need to wear sunscreen all year round, and since early this year, we've had to wear masks too, so this method has worked best for me! Although it claims to even skin tone... it feels more like a white cast than actual brightening? Also, when applied with hands, it doesn't spread evenly on the face. Instead, it tends to clump up more noticeably. After trying a few times, I've switched to using a puff exclusively. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 22, 2020
As someone with oily skin, I often found sunscreens to be greasy in summer, but this one leaves my skin feeling wonderfully matte! If there's one downside, it's that it leaves a slight white cast on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2020
It looks so natural! I use this product when I want to achieve that 'no-makeup makeup' look. It provides just the right amount of brightening and looks beautifully natural. I've received many compliments on my skin when wearing only this. It works even better when your skin is in good condition! While it feels moisturizing on the back of my hand, I'm not sure about how it feels on my face. Also, there was a slight white cast. Using a puff to pat it in will be more effective than rubbing it in with your hands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2020
I want to be completely honest in this review, without any embellishment, falsehoods, or advertising. Please note that everyone's skin type is different, so my review isn't absolute and individual results may vary. Keep this in mind and use my review only as a reference! This is a review of a product I purchased with my own money. Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin, some sebum and blemishes, acne scars, super sensitive skin! Why I bought it: I was looking for a gentle sunscreen and came across this one recommended by Director Pi! I thought it would be good for quick outings and could also serve as a brightening moisturizer. Usage period: 2 weeks and ongoing Applicator: Standard tube-type sunscreen applicator! Scent: Not unscented, but has a typical brightening moisturizer/sunscreen scent! Texture (stickiness): I really dislike sticky and greasy sunscreens - you know, the ones with a rich, heavy texture. But this one isn't sticky or greasy at all - it's exactly the texture I wanted! It's kind of between an emulsion and a water-based product. The texture is light and unique, which I love! Hydration: It's quite hydrating. Usually, when I only apply sunscreen before going out, my skin starts to feel dry and tight over time. This product doesn't do that! Staying power: Even when I went out wearing only this sunscreen as the last step (no powder) and wore a mask, it lasted quite well! It did wear off a bit, but not in a way that left obvious patches. The tone-up effect blended naturally with my skin. As time passed, it mixed with my skin's natural oils to create a beautiful glow. Irritation: I didn't experience any skin blemishes or itching with this product! As Director Pi recommended, it's a gentle mineral sunscreen with good ingredients! Cleansing: Great. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it's easy to remove - no need for double cleansing! Plus, the white cast actually helps you see which areas you've cleansed, making it even more convenient. Makeup compatibility: Director Pi was right - it works well as a brightening moisturizer and pairs nicely with foundation! Ingredients: A trustworthy recommendation from Director Pi! The ingredients are good. Effects: This apricot-colored sunscreen doesn't make you look overly white. Instead, it blends well with your natural skin tone for a pretty, natural tone-up effect! Over time, it melds beautifully with your skin. It also works great as a brightening moisturizer, making it perfect for quick errands, workouts, doctor visits, or other light outings when you want to wear it alone. Will I repurchase: Yes! It's a really versatile product. One-line summary: A lightweight sunscreen that naturally evens skin tone, can be used as a brightening moisturizer, and is perfect for light outings without foundation! Recommendation: Might be a bit dry for those with dry skin! Highly recommended for people who often make quick trips out and want a natural tone-up effect! Also great for those looking for a product that can double as a brightening moisturizer and prefer a lightweight, non-sticky texture. Dead skin cells: Since it's an apricot-colored product with a white cast, it can emphasize dead skin cells if your skin isn't well-exfoliated. It's not glaringly obvious, but there is some emphasis on flaky skin! Absorption: This is tricky... After initially applying it to your skin, it's difficult to blend. If you don't blend quickly, it leaves marks in those areas. This shows how quickly it absorbs and sets, but the fact that it creates boundaries so easily and quickly was a bit disappointing. Deep dryness: If you apply powder directly over the sunscreen without foundation, you might experience some deep dryness! Of course, this doesn't happen if you wear the sunscreen alone or apply foundation before powdering. Just something to keep in mind! When you're only wearing the sunscreen by itself, don't apply powder before going out! Powdering not only causes deep dryness, but more importantly, without powder, your skin's natural oils will mix with the sunscreen over time, creating a really beautiful glow! It makes your skin look really good.
