I keep using this because it's lightweight, non-sticky, and adds a brightening effect, making it perfect for a natural makeup look You need to apply it quickly as it can leave streaks if not spread evenly right away - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2021
My skin type: Sensitive and acne-prone. With summer bringing chaos to my acne, I was looking for a product that's moisturizing but leaves a matte finish. This product fits the bill perfectly! It feels like an emulsion when applying, but leaves the skin feeling powder-soft afterwards. The brightening effect is on point! While I love this aspect, it's also a bit of a drawback. It does become more natural-looking over time (though it takes a while). Considering the price, it's not bad, and the strong brightening effect means you use less product. This leads to it lasting longer, haha! It feels like this lasts twice as long as other sunscreens of the same volume. Good! I wanted a natural brightening effect, but was disappointed to find I looked like a kabuki actor after application. Using a tiny amount doesn't provide enough sun protection, but using enough for proper protection makes my skin look too white and difficult to apply. If your skin isn't in good condition, or if you touch your face after application, it pills badly. It comes off like a sort of residue or eraser dust. The brightening effect is out of this world, so be careful with the amount you use! -> It's better used as a brightening moisturizer rather than a sunscreen, haha. You might have to give up on sun protection. Only use on days when your skin is in good condition -> The brightening effect makes any skin imperfections very noticeable. Don't touch your face after application -> If you touch or rub your face, it comes off like residue. If you follow these tips, you should be able to use it effectively! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2021
Brightens up the face nicely. Has just the right amount of richness, which is perfect for my dry skin. The brightening effect lasts for a long time. It tends to clump a bit when first applied. The fragrance isn't to my liking - it smells too much like old-fashioned cosmetics. Apply after thorough skincare routine. Gently pat it in to reduce the whitening effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 4, 2021
I've found a sunscreen that brightens my skin, and I love how this product is moisturizing and evens my complexion just right! I'm already on my third bottle. The texture feels a bit like a brightening emulsion(?). It's very hydrating, so it doesn't absorb well into the skin at first, but if you massage it in a bit more, it applies nicely. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 1, 2020
It feels incredibly moisturizing when applied, almost like an emulsion! It really helps with brightening the skin. Plus, I love that it's not too oily. The white cast is quite noticeable, but not in a flattering way. It leaves a grayish or slightly purplish tint that's not very appealing. Also, there's a distinct cosmetic scent that's a bit strong. While it feels hydrating at first, it tends to dry out my skin over time, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 12, 2020
I tried a small sample I received when buying cosmetics! It seemed to naturally brighten my skin and absorbs well! I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin. My skin is quite oily, so it felt shiny and eventually started to wear off... I really wish I could get rid of all this excess oil... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 28, 2020
♥Price♥ It's cheaper compared to other sunscreens. Even better when you buy it on sale! Great value for money. I bought it for just under 4,000 won on Hwahae during an Etude House sale, using points too! ♥Brightening effect♥ I was specifically looking for a sunscreen with a brightening effect since I don't use foundation separately and finish my base makeup with sunscreen. It provides a nice, moderate brightening effect. At first application, I thought it was too white, but it settles to a perfect tone after a short while. It gives a lovely glow that's just right. ♥Application♥ It has a moisturizing, water-like texture that applies smoothly without feeling thick or heavy. ♥No blemishes♥ I didn't experience any blemishes from using this! Comparing it to Innisfree Non-nano Sunscreen: Price: Non-nano < UV Double Cut (more affordable) Ingredients: Non-nano > UV Double Cut Application: Non-nano ≈ UV Double Cut (similar) Neither caused blemishes, but both have poor staying power, unfortunately. ♥Ingredients♥ The ingredients are a bit disappointing. It's a shame it contains phenoxyethanol and fragrance, which seem unnecessary. ♥Staying power♥ Everything else is good, but the brightening effect doesn't last long enough. I plan to use it together with another sunscreen that has better staying power for its brightening effect. I'll upload comparison photos with the Non-nano sunscreen later. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 17, 2020
I bought this for brightening, and it really gives a natural glow and radiance! It doesn't make you look ghostly white at all. When applied evenly, it blends seamlessly, as if it's your own skin! Plus, I have super sensitive skin, but this doesn't cause any tingling, which suggests the ingredients are quite gentle. There's a bit of pilling around the nose, and since I have dry skin, it can feel a bit dehydrating after a while. But if you're using it primarily as a brightening moisturizer, it's not a significant issue. For those with dry skin, you can mix it with a bit of emulsion to use it without any discomfort. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 14, 2020
I really liked how moisturizing this sunscreen felt. Since I don't usually wear makeup, I prefer sunscreens with brightening effects or makeup base properties. This one impressed me because it evens skin tone and gives a radiant complexion just by applying it alone. There aren't many downsides to mention. If I had to pick one, those with oily skin might find it a bit rich. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 29, 2019
I really liked how moisturizing it was. It seemed to naturally brighten my skin without causing any irritation. Plus, it offers sun protection, which makes it quite convenient. However, during summer when I sweat a lot, it stung my eyes. I wouldn't recommend it for summer use. Also, I found the texture to be quite runny. If you apply this sunscreen near your eyes, it can really sting when you rub them. Just be careful to avoid that area and you should be fine.
