It's moisturizing... and that's about it. I usually don't bother with reviews, but I'm writing this so you don't make the same mistake I did. It turns your face gray. My sister said I looked like white clay. Absolutely no coverage... Please, don't buy this... It might work differently for everyone, but my skin is dark with yellow undertones... If your skin is similar to mine, it's really not good at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2020
1. It has makeup properties, so you don't need to buy a separate makeup base. 2. The ingredients are relatively gentle, so you can use it with peace of mind. 1. Although it has makeup properties, it doesn't perfectly cover blemishes and other skin imperfections. 2. The staying power isn't great. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 11, 2019
✨ Satisfaction ✨ I'm on my second bottle of this product! It's so good! I love that it works as both a brightening moisturizer and sunscreen, so I don't need to layer multiple products. ✨ Skin Type ✨ I have shade 13, dry skin that tends to develop dead skin cells in winter. I don't have major blemishes, and I usually just use brightening products. ✨ Application ✨ It applies thinly and it's easy to control the amount! ✨ Brightening Effect ✨ It goes on really white. I personally love that stark white cast, so I'm listing it as a plus! As much as I loved it, I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for coverage. It was fine for me since I don't have blemishes, but true to its name, it's just a sunscreen + brightening moisturizer. In winter, it might slightly emphasize dead skin cells, but this should be manageable with proper skincare. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 31, 2019
It's not too sticky and spreads evenly with just a small amount. It naturally brightens the complexion. The coverage isn't great. It doesn't conceal things like acne scars. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2019
As a sunscreen nomad, I'm always on the hunt for the perfect one. This year, I've decided to settle down with this Etude House product. I remember using it in my early 20s, so I went back to Etude and bought it again. It's still great! I recall slathering it on during a trip to Boracay when I was younger, and I didn't get sunburned at all! I had been using a different sunscreen fluid that absorbed quickly, but I felt like I was developing more dark spots. So, I decided to go back to what I knew worked from my younger days. It really seems like sticking with what you know works is better than trying new products. The sun protection is excellent - the best part is that my face doesn't tan. And after about 4 hours, it gives my skin this beautiful glow as it settles, making my complexion look amazing. I've been using sunscreen religiously since middle school, and lately, I've even been applying it to areas with dark spots before bed. No blemishes at all! I have sensitive skin prone to redness, and usually the slightest irritation causes red or comedonal acne, but not with this! It gives just the right amount of glow and evens out my skin tone, which is perfect for someone like me who doesn't like wearing makeup. It doesn't completely cover redness. For someone like me with skin that tends to get hot easily, I turn red when I'm outside for too long in the summer, and this sunscreen doesn't have enough coverage to fully conceal that. It does brighten the complexion, so you could add a bit of cushion foundation on top if you want. But I'm too lazy for that, so I just use this alone. I like how it gives a nice glow later on, but if you're not a fan of that dewy look, you might find that aspect disappointing. For those with sensitive skin that's slightly on the dry side, try applying a light hydrating gel mixed with a tiny bit of Elizabeth Arden cream before using this sunscreen. It creates a beautiful, glowing complexion that makes your skin look amazing! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinApr 17, 2019
It brightens my complexion without looking cakey and provides amazing hydration Unfortunately, the staying power is disappointing and the coverage isn't particularly impressive If you're looking for a product that brightens and hydrates, I'd recommend giving this a try - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 7, 2019
This definitely brightens the complexion and has great absorption for a mineral sunscreen. Hydration-wise... well, it's not as moisturizing as skincare products, but it's not drying for a sunscreen that typically runs down your face. It does leave a white cast, but it evens skin tone like a base product, and I like the color. No eye irritation and not drying. Above all, when I apply this, my complexion looks more transparent and brighter than with a base product. I give it four stars for use at home or quick errands nearby. When used alone, I like everything about it. However, issues arise when layering products on top. It brightens so much that you can skip foundation, but... it doesn't have the coverage of a foundation. That's expected for a sunscreen, of course. Still, as a woman in her 30s who needs to cover dark circles, I applied Maybelline concealer around my eyes, and oh my goodness, it pilled! Some sunscreens pill when you apply base products on top, and this seems to be one of them. I'll need to experiment more - maybe allow more time for absorption, or it might just not work with that specific product. I'll try other BB creams too. Sigh. Everything's great except for this one issue. +) After using it for a while longer, I felt I needed to update this. The pilling only happens with Maybelline Fit Me; it doesn't pill with other BB creams and foundations. The brightening effect of the product itself is so good that I often go out wearing just this. After more use, I'm very satisfied and am updating my rating to five stars!
