ConsThe cream is quite rich, so if you don't get the amount right, it might actually cause breakouts.
TipWhen using this product, start with a small amount and gradually increase as needed to avoid potential blemishes. It's effective for post-acne hyperpigmentation, but be mindful of the oil content if you have acne-prone skin.

ConsI was disappointed that this regenerating cream caused small water blemishes. I think it might be because it clogged my pores.

It's great to use when I wake up feeling dry.
ConsI'm worried it might be too rich and cause small blemishes to appear.

ConsIt's a bit rich, so sometimes I feel like it might actually be triggering more breakouts.
TipFor those with combination dehydrated skin, you might want to layer this product carefully to avoid excess oiliness while still benefiting from its acne-fighting properties.

I frequently tested products on my chin, which led to severe irritation where anything I applied would cause oozing. Even leaving it bare made it worse! I had to apply something, so I tried this after hearing good reviews. The result... it was as effective as a dermatologist's ointment! The oozing that had persisted for a week suddenly stopped, and the itching disappeared the next day. Thick, flaky dead skin cells formed on the red, irritated areas, but after about a month and a half, they all fell off and now my skin has fully recovered. I tried Dexpanthenol ointment and La Roche-Posay Cicaplast in between, but they didn't suit me and caused oozing again, so I quickly went back to Cicafate. Although that slowed down the recovery a bit, my chin is now completely fine!
ConsWhen I applied this product to my cheeks where the skin barrier was slightly damaged (no oozing or stinging, just a slight snakeskin feeling and itching due to frequent testing), I developed pustular acne. I tried applying it alone, mixing a tiny bit with moisturizer, and various combinations, but whenever I applied this cream anywhere other than my chin, I got pustular acne. After ignoring this and applying for 3 days, it felt a bit heavy and almost triggered a folliculitis flare-up. I'll only use this as an SOS treatment when I have oozing skin.
TipApply to red, irritated areas with oozing

After sleeping with it on, I wake up to find the redness has significantly subsided and the tingling sensation has improved. It's already a staple in my routine, so I use it with confidence. After application, my face turns slightly white and has a dewy glow from the rich texture, which I don't mind at all.
ConsThe absorbs poorly. Despite its rich feel, it lacks hydration, causing my skin to feel tight after a short while. Also, using it for a few days leads to small blemishes. Unfortunately, I can't use it before makeup, which is disappointing.

Cons- When applied to oily areas like the T-zone or chin, it seems to cause more whiteheads or blemishes. Those with oily skin must be careful with the amount used! - The thick consistency makes it a bit difficult to spread evenly. This also makes it challenging to control the amount applied. - It's quite rich and oily, so it takes a while to absorb into the skin.
TipFor best results, apply it like a sleeping mask on areas that need soothing before bed. You'll see great effects the next morning!

Fortunately, I didn't have severe pockmarks, but I did have significant hyperpigmentation. I resolved all my hyperpigmentation issues with this cream alone! And I'm not exaggerating one bit. That's why I recommend it to all my friends who have acne-prone skin or a lot of scars. This cream isn't meant to be applied by simply rubbing it in like a regular moisturizer. The key is absorption! That's how you can truly experience the cream's effectiveness. When I first used it, I applied it generously like a moisturizer without focusing on absorption, and it actually caused more small bumps on my face. The thick texture seemed to clog my pores. I set the cream aside after that, but then I saw a YouTube video recommending it again. I decided to give it another try, paying attention to absorption this time. To my surprise, the scars on my face started noticeably disappearing one by one! Please take my advice seriously and try it for yourself to see the results... I apply this cream after completing my hydration routine, almost like I'm coating my skin! I've been using this cream since high school, and I'm still using it in my late 20s :) For those struggling with acne and hyperpigmentation! Don't keep putting off going to the dermatologist - try managing your skin with this cream instead!
ConsThe texture is quite rich, so you need to pay attention to absorption. Otherwise, it can clog your pores and cause more blemishes!
TipAbsorption is the key to success with this product

This can be a game-changer if used correctly, but beware of potential blemishes if misused. When applied properly, it's a skin-saving miracle! 🥲 After much trial and error, I'm eager to share my insights with you all. 🥹 I've done extensive research on YouTube to learn the proper application of this cream. 👉 Remember, oil and moisture balance is crucial for all skin types (except extremely oily). We need to add hydration and seal it with oil to maintain healthy skin. This applies to everyone, with varying ratios depending on skin type. 👉 Combination dehydrated skin lacks moisture but is still oily. Adding only hydration won't suffice as it evaporates quickly, leading to deep dryness. I recommend an 8:2 ratio of hydration to oil for this skin type. 👉 On days you use this cream, it's essential to use an alkaline cleanser. While combination dehydrated skin is fundamentally oily, thorough cleansing followed by hydration and oil-sealing prevents blemishes. However, it's best to use this only in the evening. 🙆♀️⭐️ My tried-and-tested method: 1) First cleanse with cleansing milk (I recently switched from cleansing oil, and my skin feels much better). 2) Follow with a mild alkaline cleanser (avoid AHA/BHA; use something gentle like Perfect Whip Collagen). 3) Pat skin lightly and immediately apply a sheet mask for 3-4 minutes (no more than 5 to avoid irritation). Use an alcohol-free toner that suits your skin. 4) Gently pat in remaining toner and apply another layer. Don't pat aggressively! Press gently as if handling a baby's skin. 5) Layer a hydrating ampoule twice (I use Torriden's hyaluronic acid, which works well for deep hydration). 6) Apply a soothing cream, following your skin's texture. 7) Finally, the Cica cream! Take a small amount on the back of your hand, gently spread it until it becomes a thin, transparent layer. Apply from the outer cheeks inwards, following your skin's texture. Use the remaining amount for your T-zone and forehead. This method has given me plump, hydrated skin I've never experienced before, despite being combination dehydrated! ⭐️⭐️ Remember, it's crucial to thin out the product on the back of your hand and apply in a thin layer, following your skin's texture! Start from the outer cheeks for best results. Leave the thick application to those with dry skin! 😉 👉 If you lack moisture but have some oil: Toner, hydrating ampoule, moisturizer, thin layer of oil-based cream. 👉 If you lack both moisture and oil: Toner, hydrating ampoule, (optional nourishing or ceramide serum), emulsion, oil-based cream or facial oil. 👉 If you have moisture but lack oil: Watery toner, ampoule, emulsion or oil-based cream, or a thin layer of facial oil.
ConsBe cautious with the amount used - applying too much can cause blemishes in the T-zone. It can be tricky for oily or combination dehydrated skin types.
TipGive my method a try... As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I used to only use hydrating products. But adding some oil has given me plump skin I've never experienced before. ⭐️⭐️ Remember, it's crucial to thin out the product on the back of your hand and apply in a thin layer, following your skin's texture! Start from the outer cheeks for best results.

It's excellent for reducing redness and I think it's the best in the regenerative cream category!
ConsAlthough it claims to be non-comedogenic, it's too rich for oily skin to use daily. I'm hesitant to use it because it might be causing small bumps or inflamed blemishes, though I'm not entirely sure if this product is the culprit.
