I bought this after hearing it's recommended by dermatologists for soothing and hydrating the skin after laser treatments. I use it occasionally when my skin looks blotchy. While I don't have blemish-prone skin, so I can't speak to its effectiveness on scars, it does seem to have a calming effect. I didn't experience any adverse reactions or new blemishes.
