As soon as I apply it to my face, I feel a refreshing coolness. The cooling effect is noticeable, and it keeps my skin hydrated without drying out quickly. The price compared to the quantity is quite steep... As someone with allergy-prone skin that easily reddens and suffers from burning sensations and redness, I researched this product before purchasing and using it. It's a gel-type mask that stays put without dripping and is easy to apply and rinse off. With tea tree and houttuynia cordata ingredients, it's great for blemishes, so you can use it frequently without irritation and it seems to have definite effects. It worked better on small bumps rather than major blemishes, and I've noticed my skin temporarily brightening and, most importantly, it's helping calm my main concern of redness! After masking, it takes a while to rinse off due to its slippery texture, so you need to wipe it off once first and then cleanse to remove all residue completely. I'm already on my fourth bottle of this product. I use it about three times a week. Pro tip: keeping it in the refrigerator enhances its soothing and cooling effects. If I had to point out a downside, it's that it feels a bit slippery during cleansing, so you need to rinse thoroughly to ensure it's completely washed off.

I love how it preps my skin for the next steps in my routine, allowing products to absorb beautifully. The ingredients are great too! I bought two tubes and I'm still using them with great results! Rinsing it off can be a bit challenging. You need to wipe it off with a sponge before washing. Otherwise, you might end up spending 20 minutes trying to rinse it off with water alone! Bonavella does provide a tiny sponge with their masks, but it's too small to be practical. It's gentle and nice. After using it, my face doesn't feel tight but rather moisturized. I'd say it seems to have a good soothing effect. As the seasons changed, my skin became a bit sensitive. When I feel like blemishes might appear or my face feels hot, using this immediately calms everything down. My complexion becomes clearer, my skin tone brightens, and it's just great all around. It seems to work well for dry skin too, as there's no feeling of tightness at all. The only downside is... it's expensive? Absolutely fantastic!! I'm on my 10th bottle of this product. Bonabella seems to be really gentle on the skin. The only downside is that it takes a bit more effort to remove. But that's the only issue, honestly!
