Perfect for mindless use. Can't say it's particularly amazing, but it's certainly not bad either.
ConsIt doesn't really provide extra hydration or leave your skin feeling particularly moisturized. However, there weren't any specific downsides to note.

On days when my dermatitis flares up badly, even other gentle toners can sting a lot, but with this one, while it doesn't necessarily calm my skin, it doesn't sting either, so I find myself using it often. It probably doesn't contain a high concentration of calamine, but for a calamine product, it's not overly drying, which I actually prefer.
ConsWhile it's less drying compared to other calamine products, it's still not as hydrating as regular toners. However, given that it's a calamine product, I don't really consider this a drawback for me.

Absorption: Typical doctor's formula texture It's thin and runs easily. Being a doctor's formula, it's not super hydrating but perfect as a lightweight base. Might be a bit dry for those with very dry skin. Soothing effect: Decent Great for evening out skin texture Scent: Seems unscented Blemishes: None so far!
ConsNothing specific, but those who prefer more hydration might find it a bit drying..?

Usually, they last about two weeks, but surprisingly, while some redness remains, they don't worsen and gradually shrink. >>Quick Absorption & Comfort<< You can feel it being quickly absorbed into the skin. Not sure if it's because my previous product had a rich texture, but this one feels like it's immediately absorbed when applied. >>Overall Satisfactory<< If my skin were to act up, I'd likely reach for this product. Its biggest strength is that it doesn't aggravate blemishes and actually helps soothe them.
Cons>>Lack of Hydration<< I expected a certain level of hydration, but it's very lightweight and didn't provide the moisture I anticipated. For those with sensitive skin and deep dryness concerns, you might need to use 3-5 layers, which is disappointing if you prefer a single application. >>Unremarkable Toner<< This could be seen as a positive point. While it does calm blemishes, it feels like they might flare up again if you stop using the toner. It's more like putting out an urgent fire? However, for combination dehydrated skin types like mine, it's too light for long-term use, which is a letdown. Ultimately, you need to layer more products.
TipIf your skin easily reddens and is sensitive to irritation, skip using cotton pads and apply with your hands instead. If you find the toner lacking, try mixing a drop or two of jojoba oil into your serum or cream step to balance oil and moisture.

It feels just like water, which was perfect for my sensitive skin that's been acting up with blemishes lately. It didn't cause any irritation whatsoever on my skin. While everyone's experience may differ, from my perspective, it didn't sting or hurt even when applied to areas with blemishes. I found it great to use this product for a second cleanse after washing my face in the morning - it made my skin feel even cleaner. Plus, its water-like consistency means there's no stickiness at all, which I really appreciate! The fact that it's fragrance-free also adds to its refreshing feel. It seems like an ideal toner for lightly refining your skin texture after cleansing in the morning.
ConsThe hydration level isn't incredibly high, so if you have very dehydrated skin, you might find it a bit unsatisfactory. Also, it's on the pricier side, which could make it a bit of a splurge if it's not on sale.
TipAfter using the toner, I applied my regular skin and serum. This routine seemed to really lock in the moisture!

(I was surprised to find that not only the bottle is pink, but the toner itself is pink too, haha!) Due to its water-like texture, it absorbs quickly and very effectively. - I understand this product focuses on skin soothing, and it fulfills this function well. I used it during a period when my skin was quite sensitive, and I didn't feel any irritation from this toner. It gently refines skin texture and replenishes hydration. However, I didn't notice any dramatic effects on reducing blemishes. - While it's not exceptional in terms of moisturizing power, it felt like it was replenishing moisture without any oiliness. As someone with slightly oily skin, I was satisfied with this.
Cons- For those with very dry skin who want intense hydration from the first step of their skincare routine, the moisturizing power might be a bit disappointing. - The price seems a bit high for the amount of product you get.
Tip- This seems to be a great product for oily, sensitive, or blemish-prone skin.

In winter, my skin gets insanely dry, and even in spring and fall, it's so dry that if I don't constantly spritz with a mist, I get tiny bumps by evening! What I liked is the lightweight texture that doesn't feel sticky, allowing me to apply subsequent products without any burden. It also seems great for soothing. When used as a toner pack, it helps calm down blemishes caused by wearing masks. And the pretty pink color is pleasing to the eye!
ConsIn my opinion, it's quite drying. It feels more suitable for those with oily skin. While it's good for soothing, it doesn't give the feeling of replenishing moisture! However, it might be great for light use in the peak of summer!
TipSoak a cotton pad generously! Pour it on as if you're drenching the cotton pad, then apply it to your face as a pack. It's great for soothing effects.

My T-zone is extremely oily while the rest is very dry. This toner was surprisingly gentle for my skin type! The texture is quite watery, which makes it a bit challenging for palm application. However, it's great for exfoliating or as a toner mask! I often get flushed cheeks and heat sensitivity, so I love using soothing toners as masks. This one calmed my skin without any irritation. It's also nearly fragrance-free, which is a big plus!
ConsAs someone with extremely dry skin, I found this toner a bit lacking in hydration, even though it's meant to be moisturizing.
TipIf you want to apply it without a cotton pad, I recommend gently patting it onto your skin with your hands.

I will write an honest and useful review in line with the Hwahae Trial Reviewer guidelines, without any exaggeration or falsehoods. ✅Ingredients As a consumer who has found the Realbarrier Panthenol Cream (Extreme Cream) to be useful, I have a certain level of trust in Realbarrier's product quality, which is why I applied to be a Hwahae Trial Reviewer. As you can see from the ingredient list, the product is composed of only verified ingredients with a risk level of 1, and not any unconfirmed ingredients. While it has 22 ingredients, which is slightly more than a typical toner, it's not a bad thing. As someone with slightly sensitive, dehydrated, and oily skin, I did not experience any irritation. The centella extract is more abundant than the purified water, and the toner seems to have captured the moisturizing and soothing properties with ingredients like panthenol, calamine, butylene glycol, and glycerin. Even though the ingredients are safe and natural, those with sensitivity to specific ingredients should still check the list carefully. ✅Versatile Usage When my skin is sensitive, I can use it as a soothing pack by soaking a sponge type cotton pad. I can also carry the product around and mist it on my face whenever it feels heated or dry, as the formula is not heavily oily and doesn't feel burdensome. ✅User Experience The product was delivered on March 25th, and I've been using it for about 10 days now. It's very gentle - no fragrance and no irritation. However, it does have a slightly thick, sticky texture, so I need to soak the cotton pad thoroughly to cleanse without any friction. Since the main purpose of this product is skin soothing, long-lasting hydration may not be its strong suit. Those with dry, dehydrated, or combination skin types should follow up with a cream or lotion.
ConsSince this is primarily a soothing toner rather than a functional toner, I don't have particularly high expectations. But if I had to point out a couple things: ⚠️Hydration It would have been nice if the product had a slightly more moisturizing feel. I don't want it to be overly watery, as the focus is on skin soothing, but I feel the current hydration level could be about 30% higher. It would likely be excellent for oily skin types. The calamine has a powder-like effect, so it may help control sebum as well. While the cost-effectiveness is a bit questionable for daily use, if it suits your skin well, it could be a keeper. ⚠️Cost-Effectiveness At 26,000 won for 190ml, the price is so-so. It's not the best value, so I wish they would offer a larger size option. Toners tend to be used frequently throughout the day, and a large amount is often needed for cleansing or toner packs, so 190ml may be a bit on the smaller side.
TipThese days, I have to wear a mask almost every day due to COVID-19, and my skin has been in terrible shape. With my job requiring me to speak a lot while wearing a mask, the constant friction on my skin has made it rough and caused a lot of breakouts. (Curse you, COVID-19!) Since a person's skin can change as frequently as their mood, on days when my skin is particularly sensitive and troubled, it's best to provide only the bare minimum of care. Just like how it's good to leave a person alone when they're feeling sensitive, I use the Realbarrier Cica Relief Toner in my nighttime skincare routine on those days. I also decant some into a separate spray bottle. As mentioned earlier, the formula is not heavily oily, so the hydration doesn't last long. For my dehydrated, dry, or very dry skin type, I add 3-5 drops of pure, additive-free jojoba oil - I use the well-known **** Essence jojoba oil. I make this mist and simply spritz it on after my evening cleanse, without any additional steps like toning or cleansing. On sensitive days, physical exfoliation is not ideal either. Remember to shake it before using, as the oil has been added. This way, my skin doesn't feel dry or irritated, and it's so much more comfortable the next day. It's a lifesaver on those really tough days when I'm just too exhausted to do anything - I can still easily care for my skin with this simple routine.

Texture - It's not viscous or thick, but has a water-like consistency which is great! 2. Scent - It's fragrance-free, perfect for those sensitive to scents. 3. Hydration - While it's not intensely moisturizing, it effectively addresses deep dryness. This was a pleasant surprise as other toners often failed in this aspect. 4. Application - It has a slight cooling effect that helps with my redness. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, leaving a fresh finish. The calming effect even cleared up some small blemishes on my forehead when used as a skin pack! 5. Ingredients - The formulation is truly impressive and gentle enough for super sensitive skin. 6. Packaging - The flip-top lid is convenient (see photo), and the small opening allows for easy control of the amount dispensed.
Cons1. Price - At 26,000 won for 190ml, it seems expensive for regular consumers (though I received it free as a tester). 2. Hydration - It's more about soothing than intense hydration. For those with dry skin, it might not be moisturizing enough on its own. It's better for refining skin texture rather than providing deep hydration.
TipWhen your skin feels sensitive, try using this as a skin pack on your forehead and cheeks after cleansing. I found that using very thin cotton pads works better than thick ones. After wiping your face with the toner-soaked pad, it's also beneficial to pat some additional toner directly onto your skin with your hands. For those with dry skin, make sure to follow up with other skincare products after using this toner to prevent dryness.
