The best part was how it made my skin shine as if it had been coated... You know that glow you get when your skin is smooth and you turn your face, catching the light? I experienced that after only changing my toner to this one, keeping the rest of my skincare routine the same. That's why my first impression was so positive! Another great thing is how quickly it absorbs! It has a truly watery texture that just sinks into the skin, and the more you layer it, the more you feel the hydration building up from within. Lastly, it's a small detail, but the double opening allows for easy control of the amount dispensed, rather than it gushing out. While this might not matter much when using it generously for a toner mask, it's a real advantage for those who like to mix a bit of toner into their cream, like me!
ConsDespite the product name suggesting it's super gentle and great for soothing, I didn't really feel those benefits... As I mentioned, I only replaced my toner with this one, keeping the rest of my skincare routine the same, but I developed these tiny, pointed blemishes on both cheeks. It wasn't like my usual monthly skin flare-ups; these were very red, small troubles I'd never experienced before, which really surprised me. It's such a shame because everything else about it is so good! After that happened, I got scared and went back to my original toner. The blemishes it caused left some marks that are only now fading... It's disappointing, but it could be due to my super sensitive skin that doesn't agree with most products..!
TipThe watery texture makes it perfect for toner masks! If you mix a bit into your winter cream, it becomes lighter and less heavy, making it great for transitional seasons too. It absorbs even better than when you apply cream alone. Highly recommended!

Before I begin, let me briefly describe my skin... It's super sensitive, reacting quickly to cosmetics. I have hot skin and combination dehydrated skin. Due to my skin's heat, I really love cooling products! [Absorption] The best thing was how incredibly light it feels and how moisturizing it is when applied. After using this exfoliating toner, my skin feels hydrated even with just the toner alone. One day, I only applied this toner and sunscreen without anything else, and I didn't feel particularly dry. Even when sleeping with just the exfoliating toner on, I didn't experience any tightness. [Texture] It's not completely watery. Perhaps somewhere between an oily toner and a water-based one? It's not purely liquid, but has a slight weight to it! It's closer to an oily feel... but not too rich! [Color/Scent] The bottle has a pink tint, so I thought the liquid would be pink, but it's colorless and fragrance-free. [Packaging] Usually, toners tend to pour out in large amounts, making it hard to control the quantity. However, this bottle somehow regulates the flow, preventing it from gushing out. The packaging seems well-designed!
ConsIt seems this product didn't suit my skin. Perhaps because my skin reacts quickly to cosmetics... I felt a warming sensation after applying it. I continued using it, but around the 10th day, my face became slightly reddish, as if I had applied blush, and felt a bit tingly. When I stopped using it, my skin gradually returned to normal. I generally thought products with 'cica' in the name suited me well, so this was surprising. If you have skin that tends to get hot, it might be best to test it before purchasing. There's no cooling effect, and those with oily skin might feel like their face is getting greasy.

Fragrance Since my skin is super sensitive, I mainly use fragrance-free products, and I love that this one has no scent. 2. Absorption It absorbs incredibly fast. It disappears quickly when I pat it in, so I applied it multiple times, dividing my face into sections. 3. Texture The texture is very water-like and lightweight. I think it would feel refreshing and nice to use in summer. 4. Packaging It has a twist-open cap, and the container is light and convenient. Plus, you can see how much product is left inside! This is surprisingly important, as I've noticed some products lately where you can't see the contents.
ConsPersonally, I find this product very disappointing... I think it should only be used as a toner pad. It's too light... so light that it provides no hydration at all! And because it's so watery, it just runs off... I'm used to using toners with more viscosity, so this was a bit inconvenient for me. Also, while the ingredients seem quite gentle, for some reason my face broke out with lots of blemishes. I'll have to keep observing to see if it's really because of this product.

Let's look at the product specs first: - Contains 50% Centella Asiatica extract - Liposome technology for effective delivery of cica active ingredients - EWG GREEN formulation, dermatologically tested. Free from 10 harmful skin ingredients, safe for even super sensitive skin. Photos: First day of use, after one week of use (My skin is seriously acting up - when will this adult acne stop tormenting me?) I used it as an exfoliating toner, regular toner, toner mask, and mist for a week. Since this is a toner, I'll focus on hydration and soothing effects rather than dramatic results. Hydration: 4/5 Soothing effect: 3.5/5 This product has a water-like consistency with no stickiness. Though it's a toner, it provides good hydration when applied by hand after an exfoliating toner or directly on its own. I especially liked using it as a toner mask for both moisturizing and calming effects, though you need to leave it on for a while to see results. I also decanted some into a spray bottle to mist throughout the day when my skin felt dry, and I was really pleased with the hydration it provided!
ConsBe careful not to get it in your eyes when misting - it stings quite a bit! When used as a regular toner rather than a mask, the soothing effect isn't very noticeable. While using this product, my skin broke out badly. It could be due to wearing a mask, the change in seasons, fatigue, switching cleansing oils, or possibly even this product itself. I continued using it for a week, and fortunately, my skin didn't get worse, but it didn't dramatically improve either. However, considering it's just a toner, expecting it to completely calm troubled skin might be asking too much, right? You need to use it as a toner mask to see some real soothing effects.
TipTry using it as a toner mask with 1/3 of a cotton pad!

Rapid absorption: The texture is incredibly watery, not at all thick like some serums. It absorbs lightning-fast, which I love! Plus, it leaves your skin feeling wonderfully fresh. Fragrance-free: While I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, I know many are. I couldn't detect any fragrance at all. Even when I poured out a larger amount, there was only the faintest hint of a sweet scent - so subtle you'd have to really try to smell it. Those with fragrance sensitivities shouldn't have any issues! Gentle ingredients: It's rare to find a toner without any potentially irritating ingredients, but this one fits the bill! As someone who's had skin troubles in the past, I'm extra cautious about ingredients. Being able to use this without worrying is a huge plus. Cooling effect: Even though I keep this in my bathroom cabinet (not refrigerated), I felt an amazing cooling sensation when applying it for a skin pack. It was so refreshing and delightful - I had to mention it! Easy to control: We've all had those moments where we accidentally pour out way too much watery toner. Thankfully, this bottle dispenses just a drop or two at a time, preventing any wasteful spills. The packaging design is spot-on!
ConsBlemishes: Despite the gentle ingredients, I experienced some unexpected breakouts, even though it wasn't during my usual acne-prone time. My usually smooth skin developed several small bumps and even a few larger blemishes. My mom even asked what happened to my face! While this might just be my skin's reaction, if you have similar skin, you might want to think twice before purchasing. Value for money: As many other reviewers have mentioned, the price seems a bit steep for 190ml. It might be a bit too pricey for students or those on a budget. Dryness: As mentioned, I have slightly dehydrated combination skin that's sensitive. I needed to apply at least 3 layers to address the deep dryness, and for a truly hydrated feel, I had to use 5 layers or do a skin pack. Even after 5 layers, it dried faster than expected. Whether you have dry or combination skin, you'll definitely need to follow up with an emulsion.
TipPersonally, I prefer using a 5-layer cotton pad for a skin pack rather than applying 5 layers of toner. If you have dry skin, try 3 layers, and if that's not enough, I recommend a skin pack. For those with oily skin looking for light hydration, this could work well on its own. The watery texture and fresh finish make it great for layering according to your preferences!
