Cons- The small volume makes it less practical for multiple uses. - Doesn't provide dramatic results for blemishes. It's more of an all-around product suitable for all skin types.

Absorption: Typical doctor's formula texture It's thin and runs easily. Being a doctor's formula, it's not super hydrating but perfect as a lightweight base. Might be a bit dry for those with very dry skin. Soothing effect: Decent Great for evening out skin texture Scent: Seems unscented Blemishes: None so far!
ConsNothing specific, but those who prefer more hydration might find it a bit drying..?

Cons- I didn't notice any remarkable effects - The very watery consistency means you need to use quite a bit each time - The value for money is somewhat disappointing
TipI applied it to a cotton pad, left it on briefly, then gently wiped it off. Afterwards, I followed up with an extra layer of a more hydrating toner.

I've used it for two weeks. - I have dry skin with some deep dryness, but overall my skin is clear and in good condition, except for occasional blemishes. - As an overall assessment, while I haven't noticed significant improvements in my already good skin, I can say that this product has maintained my skin's good condition without any deterioration. It seems to suit me well and appears to be a quality product! - It's a water-based toner. After cleansing, I wiped my face with a cotton pad and then used it as a skin pack. - The product is fragrance-free, and its absorption seems excellent. After patting it a few times, it was fully absorbed without any stickiness, which I liked. I think it would be suitable for both dry and oily skin types without distinction. - As my skin can be sensitive at times, I was worried about potential breakouts, but fortunately, I didn't experience any blemishes or skin reactions. This is probably what I appreciate most about it.
ConsWhile it absorbs well and seems to penetrate deeply when used as a skin pack, I noticed some deep dryness after a while. Those with severe deep dryness or extremely dry skin might experience slight tightness. However, if you're not using the toner alone and follow up with an emulsion or cream, the tightness shouldn't be noticeable.
TipA toner that's great for use as a skin pack! Using it with a sponge cotton pad as a skin pack can help address some deep dryness issues!

As someone with extremely sensitive skin, even popular 'gentle' toners like Kiehl's Calendula or Dokdo toner can cause redness and blemishes for me. However, this product didn't sting or cause any breakouts even after a week of use! One day, due to lack of sleep and wearing a mask, I developed some blemishes around my chin. After using an exfoliating toner followed by a skin pack with this toner, the blemishes had calmed down by the next morning. So personally, I'd recommend this toner even for those with super sensitive skin like mine. The texture is also not sticky at all, making it suitable for use as an exfoliating toner. I've used toners before that had a slightly viscous texture, but as someone who prefers a fresh feeling, I found those unsuitable for exfoliating and tucked them away in a drawer. This product, however, is one I'll continue to use happily.
ConsThere's not really anything I'm particularly disappointed with, but if I had to pick something... I was a bit surprised when I first opened the box and saw that the toner was pink? It was a bit unexpected since most products I've used before have had more neutral colors. Also, the price might be an issue. As a student who usually shops during Olive Young sales or at road shops, this product might be a bit pricey for students like me if it's not on sale. But honestly, apart from these reasons, there's nothing I'm disappointed with!
TipI don't have any special tips, but I always use this for exfoliating after cleansing, and on days when I get redness or blemishes after applying makeup, I create a toner pack with this and leave it on for about 10 minutes - it really helps calm down the redness and blemishes! To be honest, I tried switching to this toner instead of my usual one on days when I had blemishes, and surprisingly, not only did I not get any new blemishes, but existing ones and redness also subsided. That's why I've been using this product consistently lately. Everyone, when you get blemishes or redness, try using this as a toner pack! I really feel like I've experienced its soothing effects properly!

Texture The watery texture makes it perfect as an exfoliating toner! 2. Blemishes This toner didn't cause any additional breakouts on my face. When used as a skin pack, it helps reduce redness and calms the skin. 3. Scent I have a sensitive nose, but the fragrance wasn't overwhelming. I appreciate that it's virtually unscented. Overall, this product worked well for me. As an exfoliating toner, it effectively removes dead skin cells, and when used as a skin pack, it noticeably soothes the skin. It fulfills all the functions you'd expect from a toner, so I used it without any major complaints. With a texture similar to the Dokdo Toner but with added cica ingredients, I think it would work well for those who respond positively to cica.
ConsI don't have any particular complaints. It's a decent product that neither dramatically improved nor harmed my skin. However, the price is quite steep, which might make it difficult to use generously for skin packs or other treatments.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe Hwahae Testers review: Overall, it's a decent product! It didn't cause any additional blemishes. First off, it's fragrance-free. The texture is watery, which I found a bit disappointing as I prefer a more viscous consistency. Before trying this Cica Relief toner, I used the Dokdo toner due to its good reviews, but this one felt less hydrating in comparison. My skincare routine goes: exfoliating toner → 3-4 layers → cica ampoule → moisturizer → sunscreen. It absorbs quickly, which is great for layering, but due to the lower hydration, I found myself applying an extra layer or two. As a result, I've used up half the bottle in just a week! My skin tends to react with redness, small bumps, and acne when using the wrong products, but this toner didn't cause any issues. Interestingly, it seemed to help bring stubborn, deep-seated acne to the surface, allowing me to extract it and apply a skin pack for soothing. Since my entire routine is cica-based, I can't attribute the calming effects solely to this toner. After a week, I'm considering switching back to the Dokdo toner. However, I'm very satisfied that it hasn't caused any blemishes, especially during this seasonal change when we're constantly wearing masks. This toner would be great for those who prefer products that absorb quickly without leaving residue, or for those with oily skin. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it slightly drying - there was a sense of lacking hydration. -One month update: Initially, I felt it was lacking in hydration, but with the sudden arrival of summer-like weather, it doesn't feel drying at all! I've even purchased another bottle with my own money! It seems perfect for use from now through summer. I'll likely continue using this toner during summer months. If you dislike heavy, overwhelming, or stuffy feelings when applying skincare, you'll probably be satisfied with this product!
ConsThe price is a bit disappointing. If it were more affordable and came in a larger quantity, it would be fantastic for skin packs after acne extraction.
TipAfter extracting acne, try using this as a chilled skin pack. As the weather is warming up, applying an exfoliating toner followed by a cool skin pack during your skincare routine feels incredibly refreshing!

Scent It's close to fragrance-free. I'm not particularly sensitive to scents unless they're very strong, so I found this to be unscented! I appreciated how it added a clean feeling. 2. User Experience I keep it on my vanity and use it with a cotton pad. I loved the cooling effect when it touches the skin. Thanks to its gentle ingredients, I didn't experience any blemishes. The formula itself is incredibly lightweight, so there wasn't even a hint of stickiness! I really dislike sticky formulas, so this was a huge plus for me. 3. Product Packaging Unlike toners that just have a hole in the opening and tend to pour out excessively, this one dispenses in perfect droplets! It made controlling the amount so much easier.
ConsI've been using it for about a week, and there weren't any major disappointments! However, if I had to add a couple of points: 1. Ordinary Its ordinariness was actually a bit disappointing. It's just too average and unremarkable. While a toner doesn't necessarily need to be extraordinary, I wish it had some distinct skin benefits like being good for blemishes or providing intense hydration. 2. Price I was shocked when I first learned the price. Considering how ordinary the product is, I thought the price might be a bit steep...
TipUsing a more compressed cotton pad with less lint gives a better feeling on the skin!! Even when fully saturated, this toner remains lightweight!

The formula is transparent and water-like with no noticeable viscosity. It's fragrance-free and doesn't cause any burning sensation, making it generally mild. Since it's designed for sensitive skin, it lacks any excessive ingredients, which is actually a good thing. For sensitive skin types, a 'neutral' toner is often the best choice, and the fact that it didn't trigger any blemishes was a significant advantage.
ConsThis toner struggles to provide adequate hydration for dry or combination dehydrated skin. Even considering the changing seasons, it doesn't offer sufficient moisture. If you're looking to streamline your skincare routine, you might want to explore other options. There were no notable skin improvements. It's just an average toner, though it seems suitable as an exfoliating toner for refining skin texture. I conducted a test using the same cleansing routine and this toner, but varied my subsequent skincare steps. The first method didn't cause any issues, while the second led to some blemishes. This suggests that the toner itself doesn't have a significant direct impact on the skin.
TipMy routine: exfoliating toner, followed by absorption, then aloe gel, and finally a hydrating cream. As someone with acne-prone skin, I prefer a minimalist skincare approach without too many steps.

This product has a very watery consistency, so I think those with sensitive skin like mine can use it without worry! It's not a heavy toner, so there's likely no risk of blemishes due to excess oil. I used it as a skin pack by soaking cotton pads for skin soothing, and I noticed significantly calmed redness the next day. Oh, and for such a fluid texture, it has a refreshing finish - no stickiness at all!
ConsAs I have combination skin, some areas are very dry. When I applied the toner, those parts felt extremely dry and tight. You might need to quickly move on to the next skincare step to avoid losing hydration.
TipUsing it as a skin pack really boosts the hydration! It seems like a great product for the '7-skin method' too!
