Let's look at the product specs first: - Contains 50% Centella Asiatica extract - Liposome technology for effective delivery of cica active ingredients - EWG GREEN formulation, dermatologically tested. Free from 10 harmful skin ingredients, safe for even super sensitive skin. Photos: First day of use, after one week of use (My skin is seriously acting up - when will this adult acne stop tormenting me?) I used it as an exfoliating toner, regular toner, toner mask, and mist for a week. Since this is a toner, I'll focus on hydration and soothing effects rather than dramatic results. Hydration: 4/5 Soothing effect: 3.5/5 This product has a water-like consistency with no stickiness. Though it's a toner, it provides good hydration when applied by hand after an exfoliating toner or directly on its own. I especially liked using it as a toner mask for both moisturizing and calming effects, though you need to leave it on for a while to see results. I also decanted some into a spray bottle to mist throughout the day when my skin felt dry, and I was really pleased with the hydration it provided!
ConsBe careful not to get it in your eyes when misting - it stings quite a bit! When used as a regular toner rather than a mask, the soothing effect isn't very noticeable. While using this product, my skin broke out badly. It could be due to wearing a mask, the change in seasons, fatigue, switching cleansing oils, or possibly even this product itself. I continued using it for a week, and fortunately, my skin didn't get worse, but it didn't dramatically improve either. However, considering it's just a toner, expecting it to completely calm troubled skin might be asking too much, right? You need to use it as a toner mask to see some real soothing effects.
TipTry using it as a toner mask with 1/3 of a cotton pad!
