On days when my dermatitis flares up badly, even other gentle toners can sting a lot, but with this one, while it doesn't necessarily calm my skin, it doesn't sting either, so I find myself using it often. It probably doesn't contain a high concentration of calamine, but for a calamine product, it's not overly drying, which I actually prefer.
ConsWhile it's less drying compared to other calamine products, it's still not as hydrating as regular toners. However, given that it's a calamine product, I don't really consider this a drawback for me.

It seems to have a soothing effect, which is why I've repurchased it several times. Real Barrier's Cica line is my go-to trusted skincare!
ConsThere's nothing bad to say. The volume is generous and the product is excellent. Highly recommended!
TipIt works wonderfully as a skin pack. This product is suitable for all skin types!

The feel is just fantastic. I'm not sure yet about its effectiveness on blemishes or soothing, but I think the overall experience is truly top-notch.
ConsThe only minor issue is that when you close the lid after use, it makes a little 'pop' sound and might splash a tiny bit. But honestly, that's hardly worth mentioning.

I've been trying various watery toners, and I must say, the Cica Relief Toner is truly amazing! I already use the Cica-Pair Cream, and it seems like cica ingredients really suit my skin. As expected, when I use this toner with a cotton pad, it refines my skin texture and makes it feel smoother. While it doesn't provide complete hydration on its own, it still leaves my skin feeling incredibly moisturized and wonderful.
ConsThere aren't many downsides, but I had high hopes for its soothing effects since it's called Cica Relief Toner and contains cica ingredients. However, it's not as dramatically effective as the cream. It's more about refining skin texture and providing hydration. If you're looking for intense soothing, you might want to use this in combination with other creams. That's just my personal opinion though!
TipFor this runny, water-like toner, using it with a cotton pad is definitely the best method, and it feels even better when applied cool. You can soak a thin cotton pad generously for a toner mask, which is great. Personally, I use this first to refine my skin texture, then follow up with a more gel-like toner that has a bit more viscosity than water. I apply that with my hands for a second layer. This skincare routine really helps combat deep dryness!

Thank you for the event!) It's fragrance-free! I was really surprised when using it. I think I'll come to prefer products without fragrance. The texture is very water-like, so after using it, I feel refreshed without any residue. The best part was that it reduced my usual deep dryness! Also, I usually have super sensitive skin that tingles when I first use cosmetics, but this product didn't cause that reaction. This product was an excellent match for me!!
ConsThe only downside seems to be the high price!
TipIf you think your skincare or cosmetics aren't effective, try changing your application method. I recently changed how I apply products, and it feels like they absorb better! I found it works better for me when I gently press and spread from the nose area outwards, moving slowly.

Texture and Scent The texture is incredibly watery. It has absolutely no viscosity, feeling like you're applying pink water to your skin. The fragrance-free formula also makes it pleasant and easy to use. 2. Hydration and Soothing While the hydration power seems minimal, I found it somewhat effective when used as a skin pack with cotton pads. It leaves the skin feeling momentarily moist, but you'll need to follow up with a cream quickly to lock in the hydration. I did notice some soothing effects, though. It seems to smooth out the skin texture, making it a decent product overall.
ConsThe price point is a bit disappointing, and I wish it had more hydrating power. These aspects could use some improvement.

I was a bit anxious to try this, but since cica ingredients usually work well for me, I gave it a shot and I'm pleasantly surprised. Compared to other products, it provides a higher level of hydration after just one application. There's no deep dryness or residue left on the skin. While it may not have dramatic effects on blemishes, it does help soothe them.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but I did experience a slight tingling sensation when I first used it. I initially thought it contained alcohol, but after continued use, I found it worked well for me.

ConsThose with extremely sensitive skin like mine may experience irritation when using as a mask
TipIt's on the pricier side, but worth considering when on sale

I've used it for two weeks. - I have dry skin with some deep dryness, but overall my skin is clear and in good condition, except for occasional blemishes. - As an overall assessment, while I haven't noticed significant improvements in my already good skin, I can say that this product has maintained my skin's good condition without any deterioration. It seems to suit me well and appears to be a quality product! - It's a water-based toner. After cleansing, I wiped my face with a cotton pad and then used it as a skin pack. - The product is fragrance-free, and its absorption seems excellent. After patting it a few times, it was fully absorbed without any stickiness, which I liked. I think it would be suitable for both dry and oily skin types without distinction. - As my skin can be sensitive at times, I was worried about potential breakouts, but fortunately, I didn't experience any blemishes or skin reactions. This is probably what I appreciate most about it.
ConsWhile it absorbs well and seems to penetrate deeply when used as a skin pack, I noticed some deep dryness after a while. Those with severe deep dryness or extremely dry skin might experience slight tightness. However, if you're not using the toner alone and follow up with an emulsion or cream, the tightness shouldn't be noticeable.
TipA toner that's great for use as a skin pack! Using it with a sponge cotton pad as a skin pack can help address some deep dryness issues!

Skin Type: I have extremely dry and super sensitive skin. Even in midsummer, I need to apply oil during my nighttime skincare routine to prevent my face from feeling dry the next day. Skincare Routine: My routine goes: cleansing - toner - emulsion - cream. For the toner step, I used the Real Barrier Cica Relief Toner as a toner pack with cotton pads. Packaging: The product comes in a plastic container with instructions to remove the label for reuse. After removing the label, I found it came off cleanly, making reuse entirely possible. I think it's great from an environmental perspective that the label can be removed so easily. Hydration: As you can see from the container, it's a water-based toner. When poured into the palm, it has a light, watery texture without any sticky or heavy feeling. The hydration was immediately noticeable, and it absorbed quickly into my face without any stickiness. Blemishes: Despite having sensitive skin, I was worried about potential blemishes, but none appeared at all.
ConsMoisturizing Effect: While the Cica Relief Toner provided sufficient hydration, I feel it might lack enough moisturizing power for those with dry skin like mine. Even in midsummer, using this toner alone wouldn't be enough to prevent my face from feeling dry, so I'd need to use additional moisturizing products. However, for those with oily skin, the non-sticky texture and quick absorption could be advantageous. Volume: As someone who uses it for toner packs, I found the volume a bit disappointing. After using it for just over a week, it's already half gone. I wish it came in a larger size.
TipFor those with dry skin like mine, relying on this toner alone for your skincare routine might not be enough. I'd recommend using this refreshing toner to prep your skin, followed by more moisturizing products. This way, you can achieve a thorough skincare routine without your face feeling dry.
