While it's not specifically targeted at blemishes, it was definitely moisturizing and suitable for winter use... I had a good experience using a full bottle from November 2020, so I recently repurchased it. However, within just two days of use, I developed tiny pimples spreading from the sides of my nose to my entire forehead, temples, and even my neck. I've never had my skin react this badly in my life. It was so alarming that I could barely wash my face without discomfort. Today, I had to get a prescription from the doctor. I'm not sure if it's because the same emulsion reacts differently depending on the season, or if there have been changes to the formula in the meantime. But I strongly advise caution. For reference, I have combination skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 10, 2022
It absorbs smoothly and feels hydrating, which I love. The bottle design is also very convenient to use. After using it, I feel like I'm getting small bumps on my skin. It also feels quite rich, almost too oily. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinDec 15, 2021
I couldn't find any advantages with this product as it didn't suit me. Even if it's a popular item, always check the ingredients before using! I tried two samples I received from Olive Young, but each time my skin broke out in tiny blemishes, became bumpy, and turned red. I had high hopes because I heard it was good for soothing sensitive skin, but instead of calming it, my skin actually got worse. After checking the Hwahae reviews, I found out it contains an acid ingredient that can clog pores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2021
Before buying, I read reviews saying you need to pat it on to avoid pilling. But surprisingly, it glides on smoothly without much effort. The overall experience is pretty decent. It contains pore-clogging ingredients. I thought 'surely it won't affect me' and bought it anyway, but lo and behold, I ended up with milia. I wouldn't recommend this for acne-prone skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 30, 2021
It absorbs incredibly fast, and I feel like my red blemish marks have slightly faded. While it works well on my cheeks and chin, I keep getting small bumps on my forehead. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2021
I've been using Aestura's blue line cream so well that I decided to try this one... I liked that it's cica and the ingredients are gentle. Although it's an essence, it's also great for hydration. Even though the ingredients are gentle, for some reason it doesn't agree with my skin. Cica products usually work really well for me, but strangely, when I apply this while my skin is super sensitive, I get small blemishes, and in severe cases, it becomes itchy. The absorption wasn't great, but that's typical for gentle creams, so I was okay with that. When you first apply it, it might seem to leave a white cast, but don't rush. If you gently massage it with your hands, it absorbs quickly! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 28, 2021
Unfortunately, there's nothing positive to say... I had an allergic reaction. It seems cica products don't agree with my skin. I developed redness and itching, so I had to stop using it. Looks like I've wasted my money again... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 6, 2021
✓ Hydration The cream essence has an emulsion-like texture. It provides good moisturization. However, it's slightly lacking when it comes to addressing deep dryness. I recommend using it after a light essence, either as an emulsion or cream step in your routine! ✓ Soothing Personally, cica ingredients usually work well for me, so I had high hopes, but this was really disappointing... While the product itself seems very gentle, it caused small blemishes to appear on my skin... My skin reacted badly after using this. It's a shame because other Aestura products (toner, soothing cream) suited me well. ✓ Absorption It absorbs quite slowly. I recommend applying it in small amounts rather than all at once! If you apply too much at once, it leaves a white cast and requires a lot of patting to absorb. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 13, 2021
When first applying it to the face, it feels a bit heavy and absorbs slowly. However, if you pat it in using the warmth of your palms, it absorbs well! After absorption, I felt no burning sensation or tingling, and my skin felt comfortable. I noticed it had a positive effect on redness even up to the second day of use. I'm someone who never gets blemishes on my forehead, but from the third day of use, I started getting pustular acne on my forehead, cheeks, and chin, which made me stop using it. Those with oily skin prone to pustular acne should be cautious. It might be helpful to carefully consider reviews from people with similar skin types before using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2021
As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I'm quite picky about skincare since my pores clog easily, leading to blemishes. I've been using Aestura 365 Cream successfully, but this cream-essence was new to me. The texture was intriguing - it's like an emulsion that turns white momentarily when applied. The hydration is decent, and the finish is neither too greasy nor too matte. It feels gentle on the skin, striking a nice balance. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. My skin type is prone to clogged pores, and this product made my skin feel suffocated immediately after application, like there was a mask on it. The next day, I tried applying less and patting it in instead of rubbing, which reduced the heavy feeling slightly, but my skin still felt irritated. Determined to give it a fair trial, I persevered despite the itchiness, but ended up with blemishes where it had been itching.
