A gentle product that doesn't sting even when applied to irritated skin It's not a lightweight product, so it can feel a bit heavy on the skin - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 15, 2023
It's great. Really great. I didn't expect much, but it's so good that I'm thinking about buying the full-size product now. I have dry skin, so I use a lot of base products, and this one is neither too light nor too heavy - it's just right. But the real standout is how well it absorbs. Some moisturizers with high hydration can be slow to absorb, but this one sinks in quickly without any greasiness, leaving my skin feeling soft (for dry skin standards). It completely absorbs while locking in moisture perfectly. There's no irritation, no risk of blemishes, and it doesn't interfere with anything I apply before or after. The downside of Aestura is the price. When you're not familiar with Hwahae, you might not realize how expensive it is. But once you start browsing Hwahae, you realize it's not exactly in the budget-friendly range. I haven't tried it during summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 7, 2022
- Soothing effect: After prepping my skin with toner pads, I used this instead of emulsion. It calmed redness and prevented dryness. Despite my skin being extra sensitive due to the cold weather, there was no irritation. In fact, my skin felt comfortable! It seems more effective for calming redness than treating blemishes. - Hydrating formula: Initially, I was worried about absorption when I first applied it, but once it fully sank in, I felt just the right amount of moisture without any stickiness. As a cream-essence type, it's lighter than rich cream-type cica products. However, depending on your skin type, it might feel heavy or suffocating. - Skin-friendly ingredients: Zero harmful ingredients + fragrance-free The absorption is extremely slow. If you apply too much at once, it can leave a white cast on the skin, so you need to apply small amounts and gently massage it in for better absorption. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2022
It's gentle and has a slight richness, but I loved that it didn't cause any irritation The price for the amount you get is a bit jaw-dropping! It would be great if they could release a larger size too - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2022
As someone with super sensitive and extremely dry skin, I found this product to be non-irritating and it absorbs well when applied immediately after cleansing. When applied to very dry skin, it can leave a rich residue, so I recommend using it right after cleansing. Since it's an essence, apply it first, then follow with an emulsion for long-lasting hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2022
It's moisturizing without being sticky and absorbs quickly. There's absolutely no irritation, and it doesn't cause any blemishes. You need to apply it twice to really feel the hydration. With just one application, it can feel a bit dry. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2022
I found this product to be quite agreeable. The lightweight formula felt genuinely gentle on my skin. For those with oily complexions, it seems to help control excess sebum. However, it falls short in terms of hydration. I'm unsure about repurchasing... I can't say it made a significant difference for my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 24, 2022
First off, I love that all the ingredients are green-rated, making it gentle enough for worry-free use. It's packed with skin-loving ingredients like panthenol and madecassoside too. Being an essence rather than a cream, it has a thinner consistency, which means it absorbs well and leaves your skin feeling hydrated. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, so even those with sensitive noses can use it without concern. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. Overall, it's a satisfying product that works hard for your skin. You can apply a thin layer before your moisturizer, or when you're in a rush, mix it with your cream for a quick application. It's great for layering in your skincare routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 27, 2022
First and foremost, it's incredibly gentle and provides excellent hydration. It also offers a decent level of soothing for the skin. The downside is that it absorbs slightly slower than expected. It doesn't sink into the skin immediately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJun 4, 2022
I bought this after seeing YouTube reviews praising its gentleness and hydration. True to its 'cream essence' name, it has a white texture that applies a bit thick. When you massage it in, it absorbs well. Unlike other essences, it doesn't sink in instantly. While it's wonderfully moisturizing for dry skin, those with oily skin might find it too rich. I didn't notice any significant soothing effects.
