I mix this with a nourishing cream and use it with my high-frequency massager - it's absolutely amazing! It feels a bit slippery on its own, so you really need to use it with a high-frequency massager! After using this for a few days, your face becomes incredibly soft! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2023
I have combination dehydrated skin with redness and super sensitive skin. I'm particularly vulnerable to oils, strong vitamin ingredients, and alcohol. My biggest concern is my pores. First off, for an essence, it's incredibly rich. It would be fantastic for those with dry skin. As I don't have dry skin, I found the level of hydration a bit overwhelming for me. Because of this, you could skip your moisturizer and just apply this essence for sufficient oil and moisture balance and hydration. Also, the ingredients are quite good. Those with oily skin should absolutely avoid this, but it seems like it would be a great match for dry skin types. When applied, it doesn't absorb well and gives a feeling of just sitting white on top of the skin. That's why I end up only using it at night. If you have oily skin, you might be fine just using your toner and this product without a cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 7, 2022
- Soothing effect: After prepping my skin with toner pads, I used this instead of emulsion. It calmed redness and prevented dryness. Despite my skin being extra sensitive due to the cold weather, there was no irritation. In fact, my skin felt comfortable! It seems more effective for calming redness than treating blemishes. - Hydrating formula: Initially, I was worried about absorption when I first applied it, but once it fully sank in, I felt just the right amount of moisture without any stickiness. As a cream-essence type, it's lighter than rich cream-type cica products. However, depending on your skin type, it might feel heavy or suffocating. - Skin-friendly ingredients: Zero harmful ingredients + fragrance-free The absorption is extremely slow. If you apply too much at once, it can leave a white cast on the skin, so you need to apply small amounts and gently massage it in for better absorption. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2022
It provides excellent hydration. Usually when I switch up my skincare routine, my face always breaks out at least once, but with this product, my skin was fine. However, it doesn't absorb well and just sits on the skin. I can't apply it during the day under makeup. It's more suitable as a nighttime product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJul 29, 2022
📍Skin Type Combination dehydrated skin with blemishes and small bumps 📍"Seems effective, but slow absorption and greasy finish are uncomfortable" Pros ☑Quick soothing for acne and pimples When used as acne and pimples are about to surface or have already appeared, it really helps calm them down quickly overall. For larger blemishes, it takes a bit more time, but still reduces them overall. ☑Fast relief for redness, itching, and irritation Quickly soothes redness, inner skin itching, and other irritations. With consistent use, symptoms disappear for a while. ☑Sufficient hydration in one product Due to severe deep dryness, I usually apply a thin layer of cream as a final step, but in summer, on less dry days, or for oily skin types, this alone might be enough. It provides ample hydration. Cons ☑Slow absorption, leaves a white cast Doesn't absorb immediately and leaves a white cast on the skin. Instead of rubbing it in, apply small amounts to the skin and pat to absorb. This helps it absorb somewhat better. ☑Surface oiliness develops As time passes, quite a bit of oiliness develops on the skin's surface. Might not suit oily skin types. ☑Personally find the dropper-type container inconvenient It's not even an ampoule, yet this cream-essence formula is in a dropper-type container, so you have to press firmly to dispense it, which is a bit inconvenient. It's also difficult to check how much product is left. ☑Pore-clogging sensation When applied generously, it feels like it might clog the pores. For oily skin types, applying it only to specific areas with acne might be sufficient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2022
My skin's condition fluctuates a lot depending on the environment and my overall health. Overall, this product helps calm my skin and reduce redness without causing any blemishes. I adjust the amount I use based on my skin's needs. It feels moisturizing and seems to penetrate deep into my skin, giving it a firm and plump feeling. If you apply too much at once, it can sit on top of the skin and take a while to absorb. It feels a bit sticky when first applied. It tends to pill when I apply sunscreen over it. I wish the price was a bit more wallet-friendly. It works best when you apply a small amount and gently pat it into your skin. This method helps it absorb without sitting on the surface. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 7, 2021
This product has an emulsion-like texture that provides moisturizing power comparable to a cream. It's perfect for when you want to experience both a lightweight feel and excellent hydration at the same time. The absorption is painfully slow. Like old-school mineral sunscreens, the product sits white on top of the skin, taking forever to sink in. It feels like using skincare from 15 years ago. I bought this trusting the brand, but I can't fathom how they released such a product in the 2020s. I'll grudgingly use it up, but there's absolutely no chance I'll repurchase. If you get greedy with the amount, you'll be shocked and frustrated by how slowly it absorbs. Apply a small amount and spread it thinly for a lightweight feel and impressive hydration. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 30, 2021
It has an excellent soothing effect that you can feel immediately It was all good except for a slight feeling of not fully absorbing when applying - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2021
Smooth and moisturizing application. Keeps skin hydrated until the next morning. It doesn't absorb immediately and leaves a white cast. It does eventually absorb after patting, but that initial white residue takes a while to disappear. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 6, 2021
✓ Hydration The cream essence has an emulsion-like texture. It provides good moisturization. However, it's slightly lacking when it comes to addressing deep dryness. I recommend using it after a light essence, either as an emulsion or cream step in your routine! ✓ Soothing Personally, cica ingredients usually work well for me, so I had high hopes, but this was really disappointing... While the product itself seems very gentle, it caused small blemishes to appear on my skin... My skin reacted badly after using this. It's a shame because other Aestura products (toner, soothing cream) suited me well. ✓ Absorption It absorbs quite slowly. I recommend applying it in small amounts rather than all at once! If you apply too much at once, it leaves a white cast and requires a lot of patting to absorb.
