When you see those pesky blemishes popping up before that special day or out of nowhere, just apply this and it prevents them from getting bigger or bursting. Two days of use and they're calmed down completely! I can't understand why such an amazing product was discontinued. If anyone knows of something similar, please let me know! In my experience, there's a 50% chance it won't absorb immediately and leaves a white cast on your face, like you've applied sunscreen. Even when layered over the same toner, sometimes it absorbs right away, other times it turns white. Even after finishing a whole bottle, I still can't figure out what makes the difference. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 8, 2023
It has a rich texture that's perfect for applying as the final step in your skincare routine. The absorption isn't great - it turns white as you apply it, so you have to keep rubbing it in to make it absorb. Also, it might be too oily for those with oily skin types. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2023
I have combination dehydrated skin with redness and super sensitive skin. I'm particularly vulnerable to oils, strong vitamin ingredients, and alcohol. My biggest concern is my pores. First off, for an essence, it's incredibly rich. It would be fantastic for those with dry skin. As I don't have dry skin, I found the level of hydration a bit overwhelming for me. Because of this, you could skip your moisturizer and just apply this essence for sufficient oil and moisture balance and hydration. Also, the ingredients are quite good. Those with oily skin should absolutely avoid this, but it seems like it would be a great match for dry skin types. When applied, it doesn't absorb well and gives a feeling of just sitting white on top of the skin. That's why I end up only using it at night. If you have oily skin, you might be fine just using your toner and this product without a cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 7, 2022
- Soothing effect: After prepping my skin with toner pads, I used this instead of emulsion. It calmed redness and prevented dryness. Despite my skin being extra sensitive due to the cold weather, there was no irritation. In fact, my skin felt comfortable! It seems more effective for calming redness than treating blemishes. - Hydrating formula: Initially, I was worried about absorption when I first applied it, but once it fully sank in, I felt just the right amount of moisture without any stickiness. As a cream-essence type, it's lighter than rich cream-type cica products. However, depending on your skin type, it might feel heavy or suffocating. - Skin-friendly ingredients: Zero harmful ingredients + fragrance-free The absorption is extremely slow. If you apply too much at once, it can leave a white cast on the skin, so you need to apply small amounts and gently massage it in for better absorption. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2022
It provides excellent hydration. Usually when I switch up my skincare routine, my face always breaks out at least once, but with this product, my skin was fine. However, it doesn't absorb well and just sits on the skin. I can't apply it during the day under makeup. It's more suitable as a nighttime product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2022
I can't really say there was anything particularly good about it... But I suppose if I keep using it consistently, I might see some results eventually? It's a bit disappointing because as I apply it, it leaves a white cast and doesn't seem to absorb well into the skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJul 29, 2022
📍Skin Type Combination dehydrated skin with blemishes and small bumps 📍"Seems effective, but slow absorption and greasy finish are uncomfortable" Pros ☑Quick soothing for acne and pimples When used as acne and pimples are about to surface or have already appeared, it really helps calm them down quickly overall. For larger blemishes, it takes a bit more time, but still reduces them overall. ☑Fast relief for redness, itching, and irritation Quickly soothes redness, inner skin itching, and other irritations. With consistent use, symptoms disappear for a while. ☑Sufficient hydration in one product Due to severe deep dryness, I usually apply a thin layer of cream as a final step, but in summer, on less dry days, or for oily skin types, this alone might be enough. It provides ample hydration. Cons ☑Slow absorption, leaves a white cast Doesn't absorb immediately and leaves a white cast on the skin. Instead of rubbing it in, apply small amounts to the skin and pat to absorb. This helps it absorb somewhat better. ☑Surface oiliness develops As time passes, quite a bit of oiliness develops on the skin's surface. Might not suit oily skin types. ☑Personally find the dropper-type container inconvenient It's not even an ampoule, yet this cream-essence formula is in a dropper-type container, so you have to press firmly to dispense it, which is a bit inconvenient. It's also difficult to check how much product is left. ☑Pore-clogging sensation When applied generously, it feels like it might clog the pores. For oily skin types, applying it only to specific areas with acne might be sufficient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2022
I feel like my blemishes have reduced a bit while using this! My teenage daughter also says it's good for her skin. It applies smoothly, but the absorption could be better. Still, it's not bothersome enough to be a deal-breaker. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 27, 2022
First and foremost, it's incredibly gentle and provides excellent hydration. It also offers a decent level of soothing for the skin. The downside is that it absorbs slightly slower than expected. It doesn't sink into the skin immediately. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2022
I like how it feels slightly cooling when applied and gives a sense of protecting the skin. If I had to point out a downside, it's that applying too much can make it a bit sticky and harder to absorb. You need to gently press the tube to dispense just a small amount for better application.
