I'm a student with a yellow undertone in shade 21. I'm part of The Hwahae Testers, but I've been so busy lately that I couldn't post this review on time. My apologies! Let me share my thoughts. ♡ Color The shade is about half a tone lighter than 21, with a beautiful peachy base. It's a color that would make most Asian faces light up - a shade that complements standard complexions perfectly! - Simply gorgeous ♡ Design When I first saw it, I gasped... The packaging was just too adorable! Though I was surprised by how small the actual product was. The amount is a bit disappointing for the price. - Just cute ♡ Blemishes I don't have sensitive skin, so I'm not sure, but it didn't cause any blemishes for me. I only break out with really harsh products, so I think this one has gentle ingredients. - Just no breakouts ♡ Application It's very smooth to apply. Blending isn't difficult at all. Even beginners can easily use it. (Whispers: I'm a beginner too, and I found it easy to use!)
ConsDarkening & Breakdown It wasn't bad, but... If you don't have a solid skincare base, it can look patchy on combination-to-dry or dry skin types like mine. Always ensure a good skincare routine before applying any base makeup. It'll help reduce patchiness. As for darkening, from what I saw, it's minimal if any. - The patchiness is a bit disappointing Price Honestly, 26,000 won is expensive for the amount you get. There are many cheaper products in this range. If they could lower the price to the mid-10,000 won range, it would be a massive hit. The product quality is excellent, after all. - Please lower the price a bit Coverage It barely covers my dark spots. I don't have much to cover, but for those who use foundation as their first layer of coverage, this weak coverage might lead to layering on more product, resulting in a thicker base. - I rarely complain about lack of coverage, but this is an exception
TipActually, this was my first time using a foundation stick! Let me share how to control the amount: It's easy. Just tap it on and blend. That's all it takes for a thin, flawless application!

I'm writing this review a day late because I was sick yesterday. I already had two of these in different shades at home, but I won another one, so now I have three in total! For a stick foundation, it applies quite smoothly. The shade is about a 21. The packaging is truly stunning and blingy. It's perfect for showing off to friends when we meet up, like 'Hey, check out this cool makeup I have!'
ConsThe amount of product is really small. It costs 26,000 won, but it's tiny and feels like it'll run out quickly. There is some darkening (though it's less than some others. The last shade turns a bit ashy yellow when it darkens). When using it as a dewy base, it can't be mixed with other products, so you have to use it alone. It tends to cling to dead skin cells. I'm not sure if it's making my blemishes worse or not.

For those who usually carry their full-size foundation, this will be incredibly convenient. After applying and going about your day for half a day, I noticed it didn't develop that grayish cast some foundations do. Instead of focusing on grayness, I paid attention to how it wore off, and personally, I liked how it faded gracefully. Just make sure to have a solid skincare base. The foundation itself seems to have very little oil content. This might be great for those with oily skin, but if you have dry skin, you might find it quite matte. It can highlight everything from pores to dead skin cells. As someone with combination and super sensitive skin that reacts badly to the wrong products, I always scrutinize ingredients. However, this product didn't cause any blemishes. That speaks to how gentle it is, doesn't it?
ConsWhile the design is truly beautiful and compact, the price of 26,000 won feels quite steep for the amount you get. If you're planning to use this to cover all your blemishes or use it as generously as a regular foundation, you might go through it in a week due to its small size. Although it doesn't turn very gray, there seems to be some darkening. It breaks down giving a glow to the skin, but darkening is unavoidable. The foundation itself has a matte texture, so if you have dry skin and don't prep well, you'll quickly notice emphasized dead skin cells and pores. Even with my combination skin, I experienced this. Personally, I found it difficult to apply evenly with fingers, and the foundation tends to pill when you swipe it across the skin. If you're looking to cover blemishes, I'd recommend using a concealer instead.
TipPersonally, I found that using a puff gave better skin coverage than applying with fingers. For those with dry skin, I'd recommend using this more in summer rather than winter.

Portability & Design: I was shocked by how small it was when I received it! It's about the size of most tints or lipsticks, so I'd give it full marks for portability. The design is also noteworthy - the heart shape is beautifully etched, making it look cute and lovely at first glance. Ingredients: While my skin isn't extremely sensitive, it can be a bit reactive, so I was concerned about blemishes. However, there were no harmful ingredients, and I experienced no skin issues after use. Color: I usually use shade 21, and after much deliberation between shades 1 and 2, I'm glad I chose 2! I prefer a more natural 21 over a bright one, so I really liked the color. If you want a natural 21 or a radiant 23, shade 2 would be perfect. Application: This was my first time using a stick foundation, and it applied more smoothly than I expected - it felt like discovering a whole new world! The application is truly top-notch. Skin Appearance: While it feels moisturizing when applied, it becomes more matte over time. As blemishes and skin texture become more visible, I highly recommend finishing with a concealer. However, if you have a solid skincare base, it can provide a decent skin appearance.
ConsDarkening & Breakdown: There's some darkening, and when it breaks down, it doesn't look pretty at all. Without a solid base, your skin can look terrible... When it breaks down, it emphasizes dead skin cells and causes dryness, making your skin feel tight. This aspect was really disappointing. Price: Considering the price, it's really not worth it. The original price is 26,000 won, but the amount you get is tiny. Given the issues with skin appearance and breakdown, I think some might regret purchasing it at this price point. Coverage: Despite being a foundation, the coverage isn't that great. If you have a lot of blemishes or areas you want to conceal, you might not be satisfied with this foundation alone. You'll definitely need to finish with a concealer. Amount: As I've mentioned before, I think this foundation's biggest drawback is its price and amount. The quantity is about the same as an M*C lipstick. If you use foundation daily, you might finish it within two weeks. The amount is really disappointing for this product. Application Tool: Applying it with your hands is a disaster... It pills, doesn't look good, and I really don't recommend it. Using a puff is much better.
TipMake sure to have a really solid skincare base before applying. Controlling the amount is crucial - apply just a little at a time. Since the coverage isn't great and you'll need to finish with concealer anyway, it's better to apply thin layers for a good skin appearance. If it's not enough, you can always add more, but applying too much at once can be disastrous... And when applying, never use your hands! You must use a firm puff to spread it evenly.

Color Match: My skin has yellow undertones, and I usually fall between the common 21 (light) and 23 (dark) shades. I typically opt for 21 and apply it thinly to avoid a noticeable difference with my neck. This product, however, is half a shade lighter than my skin tone but blends seamlessly. Unlike other bases where I need to experiment with application, this one was a perfect match from the start. However, it might be dark for those with lighter 21 skin. 2. Blemish-Free: While I'm not extremely sensitive, my oily skin doesn't agree with pore-clogging ingredients like stearic acid. Even holy grail foundations for oily skin often cause blemishes for me. Amazingly, this product doesn't trigger any breakouts at all. It's fantastic! 3. Finish: As someone with oily skin, I usually stick to matte products year-round. Dewy finishes are a no-go, causing immediate smudging and an oil slick. This product, however, sits between matte and semi-matte. It's not hydrating, but it's not fully matte either. It doesn't look dry and while it doesn't give a glow, it creates a flawless complexion. 4. Application: I alternate between a beauty blender and fingers depending on the situation. For this, I prefer the beauty blender, though fingers work fine too. If choosing between the two, I'd recommend the beauty blender. 5. Portability/Design: It's travel-friendly and compact. The heart-shaped design was novel at first but became familiar. The pink packaging is cute too. Additional note: It has decent staying power.
ConsThe only downside is the price. It's a bit expensive, especially considering the small amount you get. I knew it was a small quantity, but I didn't expect it to be this tiny! Additional note: There is some darkening over time - it does oxidize a bit.
TipThis product is worth splurging on. While results may vary, I think it has a high chance of working well for many people. Go ahead and treat yourself!
