In my 29 years, I've never found a foundation that suited me (without causing blemishes). However, I'd give the Merrimonde stick foundation 100 points for not triggering any breakouts!
ConsIt's much more matte than I expected. This would be perfect for summer rather than winter. I'm close to shade 22, but use 21, and it's surprisingly light!
TipDuring these dry, cold days, I apply face oil before using a puff to apply the foundation! I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes

The size is about as big as a finger, making it super convenient to carry around. Being a twist-up type, you can use just the amount you need. The ingredients are so good that I can't say much else. While many cosmetics often cause blemishes due to their chemical components, this one seems to be fine.
ConsWhile it applies smoothly, it doesn't spread evenly, resulting in some areas being thicker and others thinner. You might need to apply it to the back of your hand first and then pat it on with a beauty blender. It's slightly matte, so it can look patchy on textured or dry areas. Make sure to apply a hydrating base before using this product.
TipI recommend applying it to the back of your hand first, then using a beauty sponge to pat it on evenly.

Color: It's incredibly brightening! I have slightly darker skin than shade 21, so I requested shade 2. When applied, it really brightens up my complexion. It's not an unnatural white look, but a natural brightening effect. 2. Texture: It applies smoothly and evenly. I put it on over sunscreen, and it didn't pill or separate - it adhered perfectly to my skin. It doesn't apply well with fingers, but using a puff increases the coverage. The finish is matte, with minimal transfer. I think this is due to the winter season. It was a bit matte for my liking. 3. Longevity and darkening: It stays put on the skin really well. I was pleased that there was no darkening. 4. The ingredients are excellent. My skin felt really comfortable. I've tried the discontinued A'pieu stick foundation with good ingredients, but this foundation has even better ingredients and doesn't cause any blemishes when applied over sunscreen. 5. The coverage is also good. In the attached photo, 'O' is the side with foundation, 'X' is the side with just sunscreen. I have freckles and dark spots, so coverage is important to me. It covered them like a concealer, which I'm really satisfied with!
ConsIn winter, you need to apply a very thorough skincare base before using this. Even the most hydrating stick foundations have their limits... When I smile, my fine lines are very visible. Because it's matte, if you skimp on skincare, it can crumble and look powdery. Also, I have really small hands, but this fits perfectly in my palm - it's tiny! The ingredients are good and it seems perfect for summer use, but the price-to-size ratio is too much. Is there any way to lower the unit price? Looking at the size alone, even 10,000 won would seem expensive.

I received the product on the 13th and have been using it consistently for about a week since the 14th! As someone with super sensitive skin, I've been on the hunt for a foundation with good ingredients. When I saw the Hwahae Testers event, I applied right away. I was over the moon when I won the product I'd been eyeing! It's often hit-or-miss testing products in-store, so I'm grateful for this opportunity to try the full-size product for free and share my thoughts. *Ingredients It's challenging to find base makeup products with quality ingredients, so I'm pleased I discovered this through Hwahae. *Application It glides on smoothly, feels hydrating, and sets to a lovely matte finish. Just be sure to blend quickly with a puff as it sets fast. *Color I have a medium complexion (usually shade 22), and often find myself mixing 21 and 23 as they're too light or dark on their own. Merrymood's shade 2 is a perfect match for me! It gives such a natural skin-like finish - I'm in love with the color. *Design I think this is the first heart-shaped stick foundation I've ever seen! The design is adorable and definitely a collector's item. Overall A rare stick foundation with clean ingredients. The small, cute case is great for on-the-go, though the amount of product means it won't last too long. If you have a medium complexion and want a natural skin look, I highly recommend shade 2! However, if you're after high coverage, this might not be for you.
Cons*Coverage While it matches my natural complexion well, it doesn't do much to conceal blemishes or dark spots. I think this is due to the thin layer the stick applies. If you need coverage, a concealer is a must! *Longevity The matte finish is nice, but as oil builds up throughout the day, the makeup seems to disappear quickly. There's no attached puff or brush with the stick, making touch-ups a bit inconvenient. It might be more suitable for summer than the dry winter months. *Skin Reactions The day after my first use, I noticed a blemish on my forehead. I continued using it, thinking it might not be related to the foundation, but on the second and third days, more pimples appeared... I'm not sure if it's the sunscreen ingredients that don't agree with my skin. I'll keep using it and update my review if anything changes! *Amount/Price It's small... really small! As you can see in the photo, it's even smaller than a lipstick. I was shocked when I received it - the size is tiny! While the design is cute, the amount of product is disappointing. Considering this, the price feels a bit steep.
TipPersonally, I found that using a puff to quickly pat the product in works better than applying it with fingers. The stick is quite soft. I accidentally smudged the heart shape while swatching it on the back of my hand (and I wasn't even pressing hard!). Handle it gently!
