I think I've finally found it! (Though I'll need to use it longer to be sure...) I have super sensitive skin prone to tiny blemishes... After my usual product was discontinued, I've been a skincare nomad for 7 months... First off, my skin feels so comfortable! I'm absolutely thrilled just that it's not causing breakouts. Merremong seems to advertise their packaging design more than ingredients, but that's not why I bought it... I stumbled upon it while searching for products without harmful ingredients on Hwahae, and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, it feels so similar to the Isoi Cover Fit Foundation Pact (now discontinued) - the only product that never gave me blemishes! It's slightly drier compared to the Isoi product, but I'm still satisfied. My skin is fairly light, so I've always used shade 21, but shade 1 (First Love) made me look too pale. I tried shade 2 and it matches my natural skin tone perfectly~ I love it so much! Please don't discontinue this! Got it, Merremong? I really hope the staff sees this review... I've been using it for a week now. I'll definitely update if any issues arise after using it for about a month more!
ConsIt looks too cakey when touching up... The ingredients are fine, but maybe the proportions need tweaking... It's too cakey. Applying it over my skincare routine and finishing with jojoba oil in the morning helps a bit, but when I touch up, it feels increasingly dry and looks cracked like a drought. I'm not sure if it's because it's too drying, but I'm getting some breakouts... It feels like the oil and moisture balance gets thrown off when touching up...
TipJust focus on a solid skincare routine! I apply toner, then moisturizer, followed by jojoba seed oil, and then this Merremong product! After using it for a few more days, I'm thinking of depotting the whole thing into a compact and mixing it with jojoba oil because it's too drying. If that doesn't work, I might just make my own cosmetics... I'm exhausted from trying to find the right foundation for my sensitive skin.

My skin type is combination dehydrated skin! 1. First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous~ From the outer box to the case itself, everything is cute and pretty. The case is tiny and adorable, almost like a toy. The product is smaller than I expected. It's about the length of my middle finger..? This makes it super convenient to carry around. 2. There's no darkening effect. The foundation color was just right for me. Usually when I buy foundation, it's either too yellow, too red, or has a grayish tint, but this product had the ideal color I've been looking for. In my opinion, it's a decent foundation that's perfect for carrying around lightly.
Cons1. It feels very dry when applying. Being a stick type, you have to rub it directly on your face, but it's not moisturizing enough to glide on smoothly. Even when patting it with a puff afterwards, it feels quite dry and powdery. It doesn't feel extremely dry after application, but it's notably dry during the application process. 2. I felt the price was a bit high considering the amount of product and its performance.
TipI think I'll find this particularly useful for neck makeup. It seems convenient as it's easy to carry and can be applied directly. Also, when patting with a puff, I'd recommend spraying some mist to alleviate the dryness during application.

I have sensitive skin that's neutral to slightly dry. It was my first time using a solid stick foundation, and honestly, I didn't expect much in terms of coverage and adherence given its excellent ingredients compared to other brands. However, I was pleasantly surprised - the coverage is medium to high, and it adheres well with good staying power. Being a stick foundation, you don't need to squeeze it onto the back of your hand, which keeps things clean and convenient. Previously, with liquid foundations, I struggled to apply them evenly across my face, partly due to my lack of skill. This solid formula allows me to gently tap it all over my face and then blend with a puff, resulting in a thinner, more even application than liquid foundations. Its small size makes it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups! The color is a nice yellow base without any grayish tones - very versatile. Unlike other products that mix with my skin's oils and start to shine after a few hours, this one maintains its initial appearance throughout the day. While I'm torn between wanting a bit more glow and appreciating that it doesn't break down, I have to say it holds up well!
Cons- The size might be too small for some. - Using a stick directly on the face may be less hygienic than liquid foundations. - I used to use the Th* Fa** Sh** In****ting Foundation before, which I found quite drying compared to this product. - They emphasize the heart shape of the product, but since you're applying it to your face anyway, the shape seems a bit pointless.
TipI actually looked into it for this review, and apparently solid foundations generally offer higher coverage. As for application, the instructions say to swipe the stick directly on your face, but I was worried about it going on too thick or not blending well. Instead, I gently tapped it all over my face with a light touch and it applied beautifully thin!

I'm really pleased with this product. It's so easy to apply on the face, which I love. I have fair skin, so I chose the medium tone 2. If you apply too much, it can make your face look overly white, but using just a little is perfect. It's great for touch-ups on the go, and it doesn't pill even when reapplied. Definitely repurchasing!
ConsIf you don't properly moisturize underneath, it can feel a bit dry. The stick is slightly soft. It might be suitable for oily skin types.
TipIt works well when applied as a highlighter, and it's easy to use on small areas by dabbing with your fingertips. I felt like my under-eye wrinkles were more noticeable due to dryness, so I applied some cream on top to finish. I'm satisfied with both the glow and the color.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe Hwahae Testers review is here! Portability & Design: I was shocked by how small it was when I received it! It's about the size of most tints or lipsticks, so I'd give it full marks for portability. The design is also noteworthy - the heart shape is beautifully etched, making it look cute and lovely at first glance. Ingredients: While my skin isn't extremely sensitive, it can be a bit reactive, so I was concerned about blemishes. However, there were no harmful ingredients, and I experienced no skin issues after use. Color: I usually use shade 21, and after much deliberation between shades 1 and 2, I'm glad I chose 2! I prefer a more natural 21 over a bright one, so I really liked the color. If you want a natural 21 or a radiant 23, shade 2 would be perfect. Application: This was my first time using a stick foundation, and it applied more smoothly than I expected - it felt like discovering a whole new world! The application is truly top-notch. Skin Appearance: While it feels moisturizing when applied, it becomes more matte over time. As blemishes and skin texture become more visible, I highly recommend finishing with a concealer. However, if you have a solid skincare base, it can provide a decent skin appearance.
ConsDarkening & Breakdown: There's some darkening, and when it breaks down, it doesn't look pretty at all. Without a solid base, your skin can look terrible... When it breaks down, it emphasizes dead skin cells and causes dryness, making your skin feel tight. This aspect was really disappointing. Price: Considering the price, it's really not worth it. The original price is 26,000 won, but the amount you get is tiny. Given the issues with skin appearance and breakdown, I think some might regret purchasing it at this price point. Coverage: Despite being a foundation, the coverage isn't that great. If you have a lot of blemishes or areas you want to conceal, you might not be satisfied with this foundation alone. You'll definitely need to finish with a concealer. Amount: As I've mentioned before, I think this foundation's biggest drawback is its price and amount. The quantity is about the same as an M*C lipstick. If you use foundation daily, you might finish it within two weeks. The amount is really disappointing for this product. Application Tool: Applying it with your hands is a disaster... It pills, doesn't look good, and I really don't recommend it. Using a puff is much better.
TipMake sure to have a really solid skincare base before applying. Controlling the amount is crucial - apply just a little at a time. Since the coverage isn't great and you'll need to finish with concealer anyway, it's better to apply thin layers for a good skin appearance. If it's not enough, you can always add more, but applying too much at once can be disastrous... And when applying, never use your hands! You must use a firm puff to spread it evenly.

I recommend this foundation to those with sensitive skin or anyone looking for an affordable option without harmful ingredients. - It's great for achieving a natural complexion. As someone who prefers light makeup and a natural-looking skin tone, this worked well for me.
Cons- It might be too dry for those with dry skin, especially in winter. When applying, I found using a puff instead of fingers or a brush works better. Since I have dry skin, I sprayed some oil mist on the puff before use. While it might be fine in summer, I'm worried it could be drying in winter. (Highly recommended for those with super sensitive skin or oily skin types!) - Value for money: While it's cheaper compared to natural makeup products, when compared to mainstream products, the quantity is less for the price. (I wish they'd either increase the amount or lower the price). Keep an eye out for discounts! Two stars deducted due to the dryness issue and value for money concerns.
TipI suggest buying both Maybe Love 1 and 2. Apply 2 first, then use 1 on areas where you want to brighten for a nice effect.

It's super cute. It would be perfect for traveling!! About the size of a lip balm. - Blemishes: While I can generally use most foundations without issues, I had absolutely no blemishes or reactions with this one! - Color: My skin tone is close to 21, maybe around 22. I was worried 1 might be too light, so I got 2, and the color was just right!!
Cons- Dryness: This was my first time trying a stick foundation, and it was drier than I expected. If you don't prep your skin well, it flakes off immediately. - Coverage: I have some acne scars, so I prefer something with decent coverage. Maybe because of the dryness, it didn't cover blemishes as well as I'd hoped. I thought the matte formula would provide good coverage, but it was a bit disappointing. My friend also mentioned it accentuated texture, and it slightly emphasizes pores too. It might not be suitable for those concerned about skin texture. - Design: While it's cute, like other stick products such as lip balms, it tends to get a bit messy around the edges.
TipWith the weather being dry and cold lately, matte formulas might not be the best fit. It's a good idea to focus on a more thorough skincare routine than usual!

My skin is so sensitive that it turns red and breaks out in tiny blemishes at the slightest provocation. ⭐️Ingredients It definitely seems gentle. I've used it for a few days and haven't experienced any breakouts or reactions. It seems to be usable without irritating the skin. ⭐️Application When I first tried it, it was quite cold outside, so the product was almost frozen solid, making application difficult. However, after leaving it indoors for a day, its true texture came through. It applies smoothly for a stick product. It does mattify quickly though. It might be better suited for summer rather than winter use. It feels a bit drying on my skin, unfortunately. ⭐️Staying power It tends to separate easily, which is disappointing. Even though my skin is dry, it's not extremely so, yet the product still lifts easily. The poor staying power made it uncomfortable to use... I even tried applying it over a thorough skincare routine, but I don't think I'll be able to use it in winter. It might be okay for summer use. ⭐️Color The color is nice - not too light. I have fairly light skin, but I don't like products that go on too white, and shade 23 is too dark for me. I usually mix shades to match my complexion, but with this, I can achieve my desired skin tone using just this product. ⭐️Coverage The coverage seems quite low. It would be good for those with clear skin. I thought it might have more coverage being a stick foundation, but it applies quite thinly. It's not really suitable for thick application either, so you'll probably need to use a concealer with it. Overall, after trying it out, I think it would be good for those with clear skin who aren't too dry and want a light application. If you need more coverage, a separate concealer is a must. Since it dries out and separates quickly, it might be better for summer than winter use. There are also contouring shades available, which might work better for contouring purposes. However, it is quite pricey for its size.
ConsThe disappointing aspect is that it's too small. While the ingredients are good and it looks cute, the size is very small compared to the price, which is unfortunate. It seems like it won't last long. At 26,000 won, it's really mini-sized. I wish it was a bit more moisturizing. It's fine during application, but it dries out quickly, so if you have even slightly dry skin, it might not work for you.
TipYou really need to apply it very thinly over a thorough skincare routine. Especially for those with dry skin, it might be better not to use it in winter. It breaks down easily if you don't have a solid skincare base.
