I think I've finally found it! (Though I'll need to use it longer to be sure...) I have super sensitive skin prone to tiny blemishes... After my usual product was discontinued, I've been a skincare nomad for 7 months... First off, my skin feels so comfortable! I'm absolutely thrilled just that it's not causing breakouts. Merremong seems to advertise their packaging design more than ingredients, but that's not why I bought it... I stumbled upon it while searching for products without harmful ingredients on Hwahae, and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, it feels so similar to the Isoi Cover Fit Foundation Pact (now discontinued) - the only product that never gave me blemishes! It's slightly drier compared to the Isoi product, but I'm still satisfied. My skin is fairly light, so I've always used shade 21, but shade 1 (First Love) made me look too pale. I tried shade 2 and it matches my natural skin tone perfectly~ I love it so much! Please don't discontinue this! Got it, Merremong? I really hope the staff sees this review... I've been using it for a week now. I'll definitely update if any issues arise after using it for about a month more!
ConsIt looks too cakey when touching up... The ingredients are fine, but maybe the proportions need tweaking... It's too cakey. Applying it over my skincare routine and finishing with jojoba oil in the morning helps a bit, but when I touch up, it feels increasingly dry and looks cracked like a drought. I'm not sure if it's because it's too drying, but I'm getting some breakouts... It feels like the oil and moisture balance gets thrown off when touching up...
TipJust focus on a solid skincare routine! I apply toner, then moisturizer, followed by jojoba seed oil, and then this Merremong product! After using it for a few more days, I'm thinking of depotting the whole thing into a compact and mixing it with jojoba oil because it's too drying. If that doesn't work, I might just make my own cosmetics... I'm exhausted from trying to find the right foundation for my sensitive skin.

The coverage is excellent. Although it felt a bit stiff at first, gently blending it in revealed its great coverage power. The small container makes it super portable. It's perfect for travel when you want foundation coverage without the hassle of carrying a full-size bottle. I usually struggle to find the right shade, as 21 is too light and 23 too dark for me. However, shade 2 in this product matched my skin tone beautifully, creating a natural transition between my face and neck.
ConsAs someone with dry skin, I noticed that if I rush my skincare routine and don't moisturize thoroughly, this product can pill and look patchy. For those with dry skin, I recommend ensuring your skin is well-hydrated and that you've properly absorbed your skincare products before applying this. It's crucial to address any deep dryness to get the best results.

I'm a student with a yellow undertone in shade 21. I'm part of The Hwahae Testers, but I've been so busy lately that I couldn't post this review on time. My apologies! Let me share my thoughts. ♡ Color The shade is about half a tone lighter than 21, with a beautiful peachy base. It's a color that would make most Asian faces light up - a shade that complements standard complexions perfectly! - Simply gorgeous ♡ Design When I first saw it, I gasped... The packaging was just too adorable! Though I was surprised by how small the actual product was. The amount is a bit disappointing for the price. - Just cute ♡ Blemishes I don't have sensitive skin, so I'm not sure, but it didn't cause any blemishes for me. I only break out with really harsh products, so I think this one has gentle ingredients. - Just no breakouts ♡ Application It's very smooth to apply. Blending isn't difficult at all. Even beginners can easily use it. (Whispers: I'm a beginner too, and I found it easy to use!)
ConsDarkening & Breakdown It wasn't bad, but... If you don't have a solid skincare base, it can look patchy on combination-to-dry or dry skin types like mine. Always ensure a good skincare routine before applying any base makeup. It'll help reduce patchiness. As for darkening, from what I saw, it's minimal if any. - The patchiness is a bit disappointing Price Honestly, 26,000 won is expensive for the amount you get. There are many cheaper products in this range. If they could lower the price to the mid-10,000 won range, it would be a massive hit. The product quality is excellent, after all. - Please lower the price a bit Coverage It barely covers my dark spots. I don't have much to cover, but for those who use foundation as their first layer of coverage, this weak coverage might lead to layering on more product, resulting in a thicker base. - I rarely complain about lack of coverage, but this is an exception
TipActually, this was my first time using a foundation stick! Let me share how to control the amount: It's easy. Just tap it on and blend. That's all it takes for a thin, flawless application!

It's neither too matte nor too moisturizing, which is just right. Compared to other stick products, the surface doesn't get as dirty either!
ConsWhile shade 21 is generally on the lighter side, it can give a slightly pale, washed-out appearance. The amount of product feels a bit limited, making it seem like you can't apply as much as you'd like.
TipI intentionally used other products for the rest of my face and applied this specifically as a highlighter on my forehead, nose, under-eye area, and chin. It blended in seamlessly without any patchiness!

The size is about as big as a finger, making it super convenient to carry around. Being a twist-up type, you can use just the amount you need. The ingredients are so good that I can't say much else. While many cosmetics often cause blemishes due to their chemical components, this one seems to be fine.
ConsWhile it applies smoothly, it doesn't spread evenly, resulting in some areas being thicker and others thinner. You might need to apply it to the back of your hand first and then pat it on with a beauty blender. It's slightly matte, so it can look patchy on textured or dry areas. Make sure to apply a hydrating base before using this product.
TipI recommend applying it to the back of your hand first, then using a beauty sponge to pat it on evenly.

I have sensitive, dry skin and usually just wear sunscreen for a light everyday look. Unlike some products that make my skin itchy and blotchy after a few hours, as if I've been bitten by mosquitoes, this one caused no such reaction. It's recommended for those with a complexion around shade 22. At first, I thought the design was so tiny it looked like a toy. It's really cute, works well, and has an adorable design. Being small and lightweight, I'd recommend it for touch-ups on the go. Just don't press the whole thing directly onto your cheeks!
ConsThe reason I don't often use foundation-type products is that they tend to make the white sebum on my face stand out. Unfortunately, this product doesn't avoid that issue... the sebum becomes noticeable, even with a light application. When I first applied it, it felt moisturizing so I didn't notice. But by the afternoon, I could see it had settled in. Perhaps this happened because I applied it with my hands instead of using a cushion to blend it, but since it doesn't come with one, I just used my fingers. I wanted to see how convenient it would be for travel. Well... it seems like it could be handy, but for me, some supporting tools (like a cushion, brush, or mist) would be absolutely necessary.
TipWhen using this product, I recommend using additional tools to apply it as thinly as possible. Also, make sure to thoroughly prep your skin beforehand to prevent sebum from becoming too noticeable.

(I didn't experience any blemishes.) The slightly brightening shade 21 is nice. Its small, convenient size makes touch-ups easy. The design might be polarizing - it has a toy-like feel that some might find cute and others childish. It feels like a great gift for a daughter. (I actually gave mine to my daughter ^^) While the brand seems to focus on cute marketing with heart shapes, they could emphasize the quality ingredients more. It's rare to find a base product with such good ingredients, so I'm satisfied with the formulation.
ConsThe first photo shows the product right after opening the new item. I was surprised to see the surface looking clumped and smeared, despite being brand new. Although the ingredients are good, for some reason it slightly sits on top of my skin... It's a shame. It seems to work well for my daughter in her 20s though. Also, when I emptied out the product, the second photo shows how small the amount really is. Compared to its original price, the quantity feels like a sample size that will run out quickly.
TipFor those with dry skin who find it doesn't absorb well, try applying an oil first before using this product. While I'm satisfied with the ingredients, personally, I'm quite disappointed with the user experience, design, and value for money. It's an unfamiliar brand, and I was curious because of the good ingredients. I'm glad I got to try it through The Hwahae Testers. It's hard to find products with both good ingredients and a nice user experience.
