As someone with dry skin, I've struggled to find a foundation that works well in winter, but this one is pleasantly moisturizing without causing any flaking. Despite its hydrating properties, it adheres well to the skin and even when it fades, it does so beautifully. My skin tends to be on the drier side, so I've been able to use it comfortably even in summer! The coverage is also satisfyingly good. There were times when I was too lazy to use concealer for my dark circles and just applied this foundation alone, and I was surprised by how well it covered them!
ConsIt doesn't completely cover redness, so you'll need to use a concealer for that. Because it's moisturizing, you might find yourself using more powder, and there can be some transfer.

ConsWhile it's not overly dry, it tends to transfer onto masks easily.

I wasn't disappointed! The coverage is great, and the color is about half a shade lighter and prettier than the original Petal. While some people mentioned feeling dryness, my skin actually felt more comfortable. It did an excellent job covering pores around my nose, and the staying power was impressive.
ConsThe only downsides were some slight settling into fine lines and a very minor, barely noticeable buildup around the mouth area, particularly in the pores. Other than that, no complaints!
TipFor best results, apply a small amount using gentle, pressing motions. This technique works wonders for covering pores around the nose. With high-coverage cushions like this, it's best to use thin layers and build up gradually. That's the key to making the most of this product!

Applying it to my face was a breeze - I didn't need to pat much for it to spread evenly. Being a moisturizer, it went on hydrating and didn't feel dry even after some time. There was no pilling either.
ConsFor my blemish-prone skin, I need to apply multiple layers. Fortunately, even with several applications, it doesn't feel heavy and maintains a lightweight feel. While I'm not a fan of glowy products, this one naturally gives a glow after application.
TipSince the product itself has a glow, those who prefer a matte finish like me might want to set it with some powder to complete the look.

The best part is the puff! It's not too small or too large, with a pointed tip that allows for precise application around the nose and eyes. The puff also picks up and applies the product really well. True to its name as a Moist Cover Cushion, it offers great coverage without ever feeling dry or cakey!! It's perfect for those with dry skin, and even combination dehydrated skin types would love this! What I loved most was that it didn't transfer onto my mask! These days I wear a mask constantly when I'm out, but when I check in the mirror after eating or at a cafe, there's less smudging or fading in the mask area. If you use powder or a fixer, you'll have almost no transfer at all! This new product is a winner from the packaging onwards - definitely worth checking out!
ConsThere were no downsides!! It's a cushion you can use comfortably for everyday wear!

When I opened the box, I found the main product and a refill inside. The delicate pink packaging immediately caught my eye - it's so pretty! Opening it up, I was impressed by the puff's incredibly soft texture. This puff is really fantastic, it significantly improves skin adhesion. This pink cushion is said to be suitable for combination dehydrated skin, which is exactly my skin type. Lightly dabbing the puff and applying it to the back of my hand, I can confirm the coverage is excellent. When applied to the face, it goes on smoothly without any deep dryness thanks to its hydrating formula. If you spread it thinly, it covers blemishes while making your skin look naturally flawless. It's a must-have for those with combination dehydrated or dry skin!
ConsIf you're only using it at home, it's not an issue, but for those who carry various items in their makeup pouch, don't remove the protective film on the product's exterior. The once-beautiful case now has so many scratches, it's quite upsetting. What was a gorgeous case is now just... sigh.

Definitely for those who love hydration! Be careful when first pumping it out as a lot comes out. It feels semi-matte when first applied, but as time passes, oils come through so there's no tightness. I kept patting it on thinly with the puff. It gives a natural complexion correction, but I didn't feel it had amazing coverage. It doesn't settle into wrinkles too badly. Staying power... is a bit low, unfortunately. It's #3 Petal, but feels almost like a 22 shade - on the brighter side. The water drop puff is extremely bouncy and firm!
ConsThe coverage is a bit disappointing. I guess it's unavoidable that when it's hydrating and thin, the coverage suffers. The ingredients aren't great either.
TipFor base makeup, it's all about that firm hydration. Keep patting with the puff continuously. The more you pat, the more of an Inner Glow seems to come through. It doesn't break down easily.

I have very oily skin that rarely feels dry except right after washing, with occasional large blemishes and some hyperpigmentation. First off, I love the slim and pretty case! The included puff has a nice bouncy texture - less squishy than Peripera's mochi puff, but bouncier than a standard cushion puff. I'm a fan of bouncy puffs, so I liked this one too. I was worried shade #3 might be too dark, but it was actually perfect - similar to Clio's #3 Linen. The coverage is great! Even though I applied it thinly due to summer and mask-wearing, it covered well without needing much product. It evened out my skin tone, covering light scars and small blemishes. I did use concealer for larger dark spots. Since it's a moisturizing formula, I expected less coverage, but it struck a nice balance - hydrating without being too dewy or shiny. Oily skin types might need powder in summer though. Like most moisturizing cushions, it gives a beautiful skin finish! It made my textured skin look quite smooth upon application.
ConsAs I have oily skin, I need to use powder, which somewhat diminishes this cushion's strengths of hydration and smooth skin appearance. Although it's a moisturizing cushion, it doesn't work well for touch-ups. It doesn't blend nicely with an already broken-down base and tends to sit on top of the skin.
TipFor those with oily skin, this might be perfect for late fall to winter when it's cold. I'll probably stick to my matte foundation with a hydrating cushion for touch-ups this summer, and bring this out again when the weather cools down.

My skin is extremely dry, so I used to apply Luna or Age 20's compact in the morning and use Hera Black Cushion for touch-ups. However, the Espoir Taping Cover Moist Cushion completes my base makeup with just one product! After skincare, you can apply it directly without sunscreen or primer. It gives a moisturized glow that makes your skin look healthy and creates a beautiful complexion effortlessly. True to its 'taping' name, it covers redness and blemishes when applied to the skin.
ConsHowever, you'll need to use concealer for deep dark circles and prominent spots. Since it's a cushion that emphasizes hydration, it can transfer easily. You can overcome this drawback by setting it with powder. The most disappointing aspect is that it contains BHT in the ingredients. It's a component I usually avoid, so I was disappointed to see it included. Fortunately, I didn't experience any blemishes, but those with super sensitive skin should do a patch test first.
TipThe more you layer it thinly, the more beautiful the glow becomes, allowing for a natural and pretty skin finish.

My skin has been dry lately, but I loved how it adhered to my skin without any patchiness. I gave the full-size product to my mother, and even after a long day at work, her makeup didn't break down significantly and still had a nice glow. The coverage effectively concealed my mother's redness, age spots, and freckles. The case is sleek and pretty. It's not overly flashy, and its slim design makes it convenient to carry around.
ConsSince it's quite hydrating, it does transfer onto my phone. You'll need to set it with powder after application.
