That's why my review is a bit late. Skin type: T-zone oily, combination dehydrated skin, with freckles and dark spots on cheeks. I usually use shade 22 in summer! In summer, I prefer matte types due to my T-zone. In winter, I lean towards more hydrating cushions. Skin appearance - As expected from Espoir, it gives a subtle glow while making the skin look absolutely beautiful. Even though I didn't sleep well or apply my skincare properly, my skin looked as hydrated and gorgeous as if I'd had a good night's sleep and thorough skincare routine! Coverage - Being a hydrating type, the coverage is somewhat lower. However, the more you layer it thinly, the more beautifully it builds up without feeling heavy. Hydration - As it's a hydrating cushion released for summer, it provides a moisturizing effect but finishes with a slight powdery feel! Color - I usually use darker shades in summer, but the Petal color naturally creates a honey-glow complexion. If shade 21 feels too light for your tanned summer skin, I recommend trying Petal. Design - It's thinner compared to other cushions, making it super convenient to slip into my bag. The pink design is totally my style!
ConsCons: The coverage is somewhat lower. If you dislike the feeling of thick makeup in summer, you might like this, but it won't be enough to cover dark spots and freckles. You'll definitely need to use concealer! As hydrating cushions tend to have lower staying power, I had to complement it with powder and fixer. There was some transfer onto my mask. The makeup doesn't look as pretty when you touch up the areas that come into contact with the mask. It tends to break down a bit messily around the sides of the nose and under the eyes.
TipSince I don't like heavy makeup in summer, I think I'll repurchase this product once I finish it! This is my first Espoir cushion, and I'm really happy with both the puff and the design. I'm writing this review after winning an event through Hwahae!

My skin is so sensitive that even the slightest friction from a mask can cause redness. First off, the case is absolutely gorgeous and lightweight - big plus! The coverage is about 4.3 out of 5. When I first applied it, I was surprised by how powdery it felt, but then wow! It's amazing. It covers small scars, redness, and minor blemishes. I'm totally satisfied even without using foundation or base makeup. The actual coverage is even better than in photos (taken with the iPhone's default camera).
ConsUnless you touch up, it might settle into the creases around your nose and look slightly cakey. But honestly, that's unavoidable without touch-ups. I'm so satisfied that I can't even consider this a real drawback...
TipI've been using Espoir Water Splash Sun Cream before this cushion, and it seems to enhance the glow effect and improve the cushion's adherence. I can't help but sing praises for Espoir!

It's seriously stunning! Plus, the compact is slim and lightweight, making it super convenient to carry around. • Puff: This is the softest puff I've ever touched - I can't stop playing with it! The pointed tip allows for precise application. • Application: It applies smoothly, leaving the skin feeling moisturized and firm. The glow it gives is incredibly beautiful. While it covered my pitted scars, it didn't quite conceal my acne scars. • Longevity: As time passed, it became more noticeable. Given it's summer and I sweat a lot, plus wearing a mask, I found it had worn off considerably when I checked later. I'd recommend using this in fall & winter. Overall: While generally satisfactory and good, I probably wouldn't purchase it with my own money. However, the natural glow it gives is truly beautiful.
Cons• It tended to separate when my skin condition was poor. • While I usually experience some settling around my nose with any makeup, this product settled more noticeably regardless of when I applied it. • I have acne pigmentation scars, and it didn't cover them well. As someone who prioritizes coverage, I found this disappointing. • It transferred quite a bit onto my mask, so keep that in mind. • The value for money is somewhat lacking.
Tip• It adheres much better if you have a solid skincare routine as a base. • A little goes a long way, so I recommend pressing gently when applying to avoid dispensing too much product.

Coverage: The coverage is excellent! My face is quite red and blotchy due to acne and acne scars. However, even a small amount covers the scars beautifully, and it effectively neutralizes the redness of inflamed acne. While it doesn't perfectly conceal textured or raised blemishes, I'm satisfied considering this limitation. 2. Color: I usually prefer a very natural makeup look, so I typically use shades 22-23. This shade seems slightly lighter than what I normally use. It has a slightly grayish undertone, which gives a brightening effect. I was worried about darkening, but fortunately, there was none. 3. Glow: I generally like a slightly dewy skin finish. When I tested it at home on a day off, it gave just the right amount of natural glow that I love - exactly my style! However, with the current hot weather and mask-wearing, a glowy finish isn't really practical. So I lightly dust some powder over it, and I think this cushion works even better with powder! I'll mention this in the cons, but the staying power isn't the best. I apply it evenly with a soft brush, tap off the excess, and then lightly pat it on. This also helps reduce transfer onto masks! 4. Touch-ups: The slightly dewy texture makes it perfect for touch-ups. The puff has a teardrop shape, which is great for covering around the nose and mouth! It's soft and bouncy, allowing you to spread a thin, even layer with just a small amount.
Cons1. Longevity: After about 4 hours, it starts to settle into the pores around the nose. It creases less in the eye and smile lines, but it does still crease somewhat. While no cushion is completely crease-proof, I've listed this as a con because the wear time seems relatively short. On the bright side, it doesn't emphasize pores! This cushion seems more suitable for spring and fall rather than summer.
TipWhen covering pores, try gently rolling and pressing the puff for better coverage. For touch-ups, if you have a cleansing pad, wipe the area first before reapplying the cushion. If you don't have one, lightly wipe areas like the sides of your nose, forehead, and T-zone with a damp tissue. Then, slightly dampen the puff and pat the product on - this greatly improves coverage!

As someone who's always on the hunt for the perfect cushion, I found this one to be so satisfactory that I could use it consistently without getting bored. The color matched my complexion perfectly, which was a pleasant surprise. Just one dab of the product was enough to cover my entire face, showing how generous the amount is. Even after wearing a mask all day, when I took it off, the makeup blended so seamlessly with my skin tone that it was hard to tell where the makeup had worn off. It looked incredibly natural. Thanks to this product, I've cut my morning routine by over ten minutes. Looking at the photo, you can see there's no visible line where I didn't apply it on my neck. It also demonstrates a decent level of coverage.
ConsOn extremely hot days, due to the nature of cushion products, there was some pilling. By the afternoon, I definitely noticed some caking around the nose area.
TipI swapped out the included puff for my own favorite. If you have a puff you love, switching it out could be a great tip!

First off, I love moisturizing cushions, so I was thrilled with how hydrating this one was. The slight glow it gave made my skin look absolutely beautiful. The shade matched my complexion perfectly - I usually use shade 22, and this color was spot-on. My skin has yellowish undertones, but this cushion had a slight pink tint that made me look naturally radiant. I have acne-prone skin, so the coverage wasn't 100% perfect, but it still looked natural and nice. The cushion case is adorably pink and super slim, making it easy to carry and space-efficient. I used to use the Clio Founwear cushion, but this one might just become my new favorite!
ConsSince it's a hydrating product, it tends to transfer quite a bit when wearing a mask these days. Also, when it starts to break down, it can bunch up around the nose area and doesn't wear off very gracefully.
TipTo minimize transfer when wearing a mask, apply the cushion in a very thin layer and set it thoroughly with powder. For the most beautiful skin finish, make sure to prep your skin with a rich moisturizer - it makes the cushion apply beautifully!

It's perfect for those who find 21 too light and 23 a bit dark. Scent: It has the typical cushion foundation smell with a hint of floral notes. Not unpleasant at all. Coverage: Being a moist product, I thought it would focus on glow, but the coverage was surprisingly good. While it may not match products specifically designed for coverage, it strikes a nice balance between glow and coverage. The third photo shows my wrist before application, and the fourth shows it after.
ConsThere was some pilling, and it settled slightly into the creases around my nose. While the glow lasted quite long, it transferred onto my mask more than expected, unfortunately.
TipIf you have oily skin, make sure to set it with powder and a fixer after application.

Though it's matte, there's a subtle glow that makes your skin look incredibly healthy when you apply just this product alone. The color is lovely. I especially recommend those who use shade 22 to give it a try. It's neither too yellow nor too red, which I found to be quite impressive. The packaging design is gorgeous. While Espoir's designs are generally attractive, this one particularly caught my eye. I love the pink tint, and it gives off a luxurious vibe.
ConsThose with sensitive skin should be cautious about the ingredients. As someone who's quite particular about ingredients myself, I was a bit hesitant. It doesn't wear off gracefully. As time passes, it can look a bit messy, so it might not be suitable for long-wear. It felt a bit drying. You'll need to make sure your skin is well-moisturized before application! There was some... pilling. Those concerned about product buildup around the nose area should take note of this.
TipIf you prep your skin well before application, you'll likely be more satisfied with the results.

The puff is firm and applies the product well! It also distributes the product evenly on the puff. The staying power is average. The slim size makes it convenient to carry around.
ConsAfter using it, I noticed some redness and blemishes when removing my makeup. The adherence to the skin isn't great, unfortunately. There's a bit of creasing and settling into fine lines, especially around the nose. For my yellow-toned skin (shade 22), it appears slightly ashy.
TipI found that applying it with a sponge improves the adherence to the skin.

While it wasn't as high as the original Taping Cover Cushion, it was still quite good. You can definitely see the coverage in the photos! Texture: The formula wasn't as thick as I expected and applied smoothly. It really blends well into the skin. No darkening: There was absolutely no darkening effect. As time passes, it seems to meld with your natural skin tone, but without any actual darkening.
ConsDryness: Despite being marketed as a moisturizing cushion that gives a glow on the surface, it caused severe deep dryness. My skin felt increasingly uncomfortable as time went on. Breakdown: The areas where I built up coverage for more concealment started to break down over time, becoming patchy and oily. This was the worst aspect for me. There was slight pilling around the nose, but no settling into fine lines around the eyes or mouth, or into pores.
