As someone with dry skin, I've struggled to find a foundation that works well in winter, but this one is pleasantly moisturizing without causing any flaking. Despite its hydrating properties, it adheres well to the skin and even when it fades, it does so beautifully. My skin tends to be on the drier side, so I've been able to use it comfortably even in summer! The coverage is also satisfyingly good. There were times when I was too lazy to use concealer for my dark circles and just applied this foundation alone, and I was surprised by how well it covered them!
ConsIt doesn't completely cover redness, so you'll need to use a concealer for that. Because it's moisturizing, you might find yourself using more powder, and there can be some transfer.

I don't prioritize coverage, but rather use it to even out my complexion. I only apply a tiny amount and set it with powder, so I didn't experience any transfer issues. 2. I was initially concerned about the ingredients and felt a bit uneasy, but despite having atopic skin, I never experienced any blemishes while using it. 3. I'd recommend this to those who find shade 21 too light and 23 too dark, but wish for a product with a slight pink undertone.
ConsI wouldn't recommend this to those looking for high coverage. However, if you only use a small amount, it shouldn't feel drying and should work well!

The cushion has a pink base, which brightens your complexion beautifully. It provides decent coverage. This cushion has a matte finish, making it perfect for summer use. The staying power isn't bad either. The puff is pleasantly firm and spreads the product well. Its teardrop shape makes it easy to apply around the nose area.
ConsThe shade might be more suitable for slightly yellow or darker skin tones, so it's probably better for warm undertones rather than cool. Since it has a matte finish, if you're not thorough with your skincare routine, it might not apply smoothly. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious as it may cause small blemishes.
TipIt's best to apply this thinly and evenly. Try spreading it outwards from the center of your face, focusing on the nose area. This technique creates a natural shadow effect, enhancing your complexion.

The gold-pink color gives it a luxurious feel, and the slim case fits perfectly in my makeup pouch. It's so compact, it even slips easily into small bags. This cushion's puff is truly the star of the show. It's incredibly soft and velvety, gliding over the skin without irritation and blending the product beautifully. The water droplet shape makes it easy to reach every nook and cranny for thorough application. I was worried it might be too matte, but it applies smoothly. It offers decent coverage (without becoming thick or cracking like some high-coverage foundations) and provides just the right amount of hydration. It's rare to find such a well-balanced product, but I think I've found my holy grail! For my complexion (between shades 21-23), this color is perfect. It naturally brightens my skin tone and conceals blemishes.
ConsI wish the price was a bit more wallet-friendly. It would be great if they included some extra puffs.
TipFor areas with dark spots, applying 2-3 layers provides good coverage. Using small amounts and gently patting it in multiple times gives a natural finish that isn't too thick while still concealing blemishes effectively.

First off, I love moisturizing cushions, so I was thrilled with how hydrating this one was. The slight glow it gave made my skin look absolutely beautiful. The shade matched my complexion perfectly - I usually use shade 22, and this color was spot-on. My skin has yellowish undertones, but this cushion had a slight pink tint that made me look naturally radiant. I have acne-prone skin, so the coverage wasn't 100% perfect, but it still looked natural and nice. The cushion case is adorably pink and super slim, making it easy to carry and space-efficient. I used to use the Clio Founwear cushion, but this one might just become my new favorite!
ConsSince it's a hydrating product, it tends to transfer quite a bit when wearing a mask these days. Also, when it starts to break down, it can bunch up around the nose area and doesn't wear off very gracefully.
TipTo minimize transfer when wearing a mask, apply the cushion in a very thin layer and set it thoroughly with powder. For the most beautiful skin finish, make sure to prep your skin with a rich moisturizer - it makes the cushion apply beautifully!

My complexion varies greatly depending on my condition. On days when my skin looks dull, lighter shades can look floaty, but this one brings out a natural radiance and looks beautiful. I personally prefer pink-based shades, so I loved this aspect! 🧐 Application It's my go-to on busy mornings. Why? Because it absorbs well with just a little patting, allowing for a quick base application. This is partly due to the product's hydrating nature, but I think the puff plays a big role too. It's truly soft like a peach, doesn't absorb too much foundation, and applies it well to the skin! I also liked how thinly it applies. Even those who find makeup challenging should find this easy to use. 🧐 Coverage While it's hard to expect good coverage from a hydrating foundation, I'd give this cushion 4 out of 5 stars for coverage! I apply one layer all over, then add another layer on dark circles and redness around the nose, and I found I didn't need to use additional concealer. It's particularly good at covering redness like blemishes. However, I do wonder why it covers dark circles well but struggles with darkness around the mouth •◇•¿ It also covered pores and blackheads nicely! 🧐 Hydration It feels as refreshing and hydrating as patting your face with a damp sponge! As someone with dry skin, I've always struggled with foundation looking cakey no matter how much skincare I do, but this doesn't cake at all, which is fantastic! The subtle glow on the cheekbones gives a luxurious finish to the skin! 🧐 Blemishes I have sensitive skin that easily breaks out when I switch products. Fortunately, this suited me well and didn't cause any blemishes! Summary) I've tried many hydrating cushions, but what I found most satisfying about the Espoir cushion was its ability to cover dark circles and not cake. While the longevity is a bit weak, I reach for this cushion often because it applies so well! This cushion has made me interested in other Espoir products. Overall, I'm very satisfied!
Cons* It seems to need some time to set and adhere properly. If you touch your face, it leaves dents. * Poor longevity against water and sweat... A lot of it disappeared after going out. Even though the product applies thinly and well, it seems unavoidable in this hot weather and with masks. I think it would be fine with a good setting spray and touch-ups. * Darkening occurs most around the eyes, making the overall complexion look dull, which was disappointing.
Tip🍭 Allow some time for the cushion to set after application. 🍭 As a lot of product comes out, try applying it to the back of your hand first before using.

My skin tends to be yellowish and dull, so I usually prefer pink-based foundations. However, using shade 21 with a pink base often creates a noticeable difference with my neck, while shade 23 is too dark. This cushion foundation perfectly solved my dilemma. 2. As it wears off, it doesn't break down messily. Instead, it fades gracefully, blending naturally with the skin. When applied in a thin layer, it doesn't settle into nose creases or pores. 3. It effectively conceals small pores and light acne scars. 4. The longevity is quite impressive. Even after 6 hours, while not as fresh as when first applied, it still maintained a radiant look and continued to cover redness around the nose area. 5. In my teens, I had extremely oily skin and couldn't live without powder. Now in my 20s, my skin has become less oily, and I've been wanting to try a hydrating cushion. I was lucky to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and tried this moisturizing cushion for the first time. As someone who's only used matte cushions before, I found the hydration level to be just right. Unless you have extremely oily skin, this cushion would be suitable for spring and fall use.
Cons1. I felt the coverage was lacking. I usually judge coverage by how well it conceals my freckles, and this cushion seemed to be the least effective at covering them. 2. Being a moisturizing cushion, it might be more suitable for use during seasonal changes or winter rather than in summer when oil production increases.

I received this product for free and will provide an honest review. 1. The case has a lovely slim design in baby pink color. 2. Personally, I like the light, subtle floral scent that isn't overpowering. 3. The shade is perfect for those who find 21 too light and 23 too dark! It matches my neck color almost perfectly, which is ideal for my makeup style. 4. The included puff is high-quality! I usually prefer Cha* cushion puffs, but this one is similar and even better. It feels soft on the skin, and its teardrop shape allows for precise application around the eyes and nose. 5. It provides good coverage even with a small amount. My cheeks often get red due to contact dermatitis, but this covers it well even with a thin layer. 6. The finish is moisturizing with a subtle glow that makes the skin look beautiful without being overwhelming.
Cons1. While not sticky, it's a moist cushion, so it transfers onto masks more than my previous cushions. In these times when masks are essential, you'll need to use powder with this cushion. 2. It tends to settle into creases around the nose and eyes. 3. The yellowish tone covers redness well, but a bit more pink would make the overall look brighter after application.
TipUsing powder after the cushion enhances the skin's appearance and gives a fresh finish. Despite having dry skin and rarely using powder, the cushion's moisturizing effect prevented my skin from feeling dry even with powder on top!
