As someone with dry skin, I've struggled to find a foundation that works well in winter, but this one is pleasantly moisturizing without causing any flaking. Despite its hydrating properties, it adheres well to the skin and even when it fades, it does so beautifully. My skin tends to be on the drier side, so I've been able to use it comfortably even in summer! The coverage is also satisfyingly good. There were times when I was too lazy to use concealer for my dark circles and just applied this foundation alone, and I was surprised by how well it covered them!
ConsIt doesn't completely cover redness, so you'll need to use a concealer for that. Because it's moisturizing, you might find yourself using more powder, and there can be some transfer.

I must have gone through at least 20 bottles of this stuff. It's also wonderfully hydrating.
ConsIt transfers onto masks way too easily... My nose and cheeks end up completely bare because of it.

ConsIt did transfer a bit when wearing a mask. Even though I used Espoir powder with it, it didn't absorb completely to a fully matte finish.

However, lately, due to prolonged mask-wearing, I've developed redness and irritation on my skin even without makeup. Since the compact alone wasn't enough to cover these marks, I decided to try this cushion for better coverage. 1. It definitely covers large pores around the nose well, and even without a concealer, it hides blemishes on the chin and cheeks. I'm very satisfied with its coverage! 2. While it looks a bit white when first applied, after a short while, it interacts with the skin's natural oils to create a dewy, glass skin effect, which I love! 3. It feels light on the face, not heavy or cakey at all! Even when I furrow my brow, it doesn't feel tight around the nasolabial folds or forehead. There's no sensation of heaviness!
Cons1. The product transfers too easily... It comes off on my mask, and when I answer phone calls, it gets all over the screen. I can't even press my phone to my face. Even lightly scratching an itch with my fingernail leaves a mark... Although I can pat it out with my fingers, it's so prone to scratches that I find myself checking the mirror too often. 2. Personally, I experienced blemishes after use... After wearing the cushion for 6 hours and removing my makeup, I noticed some small white bumps on my chin, around my nasolabial folds, and near my eyes. I really like this cushion, so when I first used it two weeks ago and got these bumps, I hoped it wasn't the cause. I stopped using it, but tried again today, and the bumps appeared again... I've never had these white bumps before, only occasional red pimples. Looking at it now, I see there are quite a few ingredients to be cautious about.

That's why my review is a bit late. Skin type: T-zone oily, combination dehydrated skin, with freckles and dark spots on cheeks. I usually use shade 22 in summer! In summer, I prefer matte types due to my T-zone. In winter, I lean towards more hydrating cushions. Skin appearance - As expected from Espoir, it gives a subtle glow while making the skin look absolutely beautiful. Even though I didn't sleep well or apply my skincare properly, my skin looked as hydrated and gorgeous as if I'd had a good night's sleep and thorough skincare routine! Coverage - Being a hydrating type, the coverage is somewhat lower. However, the more you layer it thinly, the more beautifully it builds up without feeling heavy. Hydration - As it's a hydrating cushion released for summer, it provides a moisturizing effect but finishes with a slight powdery feel! Color - I usually use darker shades in summer, but the Petal color naturally creates a honey-glow complexion. If shade 21 feels too light for your tanned summer skin, I recommend trying Petal. Design - It's thinner compared to other cushions, making it super convenient to slip into my bag. The pink design is totally my style!
ConsCons: The coverage is somewhat lower. If you dislike the feeling of thick makeup in summer, you might like this, but it won't be enough to cover dark spots and freckles. You'll definitely need to use concealer! As hydrating cushions tend to have lower staying power, I had to complement it with powder and fixer. There was some transfer onto my mask. The makeup doesn't look as pretty when you touch up the areas that come into contact with the mask. It tends to break down a bit messily around the sides of the nose and under the eyes.
TipSince I don't like heavy makeup in summer, I think I'll repurchase this product once I finish it! This is my first Espoir cushion, and I'm really happy with both the puff and the design. I'm writing this review after winning an event through Hwahae!

It's seriously stunning! Plus, the compact is slim and lightweight, making it super convenient to carry around. • Puff: This is the softest puff I've ever touched - I can't stop playing with it! The pointed tip allows for precise application. • Application: It applies smoothly, leaving the skin feeling moisturized and firm. The glow it gives is incredibly beautiful. While it covered my pitted scars, it didn't quite conceal my acne scars. • Longevity: As time passed, it became more noticeable. Given it's summer and I sweat a lot, plus wearing a mask, I found it had worn off considerably when I checked later. I'd recommend using this in fall & winter. Overall: While generally satisfactory and good, I probably wouldn't purchase it with my own money. However, the natural glow it gives is truly beautiful.
Cons• It tended to separate when my skin condition was poor. • While I usually experience some settling around my nose with any makeup, this product settled more noticeably regardless of when I applied it. • I have acne pigmentation scars, and it didn't cover them well. As someone who prioritizes coverage, I found this disappointing. • It transferred quite a bit onto my mask, so keep that in mind. • The value for money is somewhat lacking.
Tip• It adheres much better if you have a solid skincare routine as a base. • A little goes a long way, so I recommend pressing gently when applying to avoid dispensing too much product.

But this cushion applied smoothly and kept my skin moisturized without any issues. Coverage: ★★★★ I might be generous here, but compared to other moisturizing cushions, this one has great coverage. I've dealt with atopic dermatitis for years, leaving me with quite a few facial scars, so I always need concealer for certain areas. Considering that, I find this cushion's coverage to be superior to others (I only use the moisturizing type). Packaging: ★★★★ I'm not usually a fan of pink, but the design is ethereal and quite nice. I really appreciate how thin the case is. While there's nothing particularly special about it, it does feel good in hand. Cushion: ★★★★ I honestly expected the cushion to be disappointing, but surprisingly, it's incredibly soft. It feels great when applying, and one firm press seems to dispense just the right amount of product without wasting too much. I'm unexpectedly very satisfied and enjoying using it.
ConsLongevity: ★★★ I'm quite lazy when it comes to touch-ups, so I don't usually reapply. Compared to a certain cushion that claims to last even while sleeping, this one seems to break down less. However, as other reviews mention, it does transfer quite a bit after phone calls.
TipI apply a fixer before makeup, spray some on the cushion before using it, and finish with a long-lasting setting spray. This method might not completely prevent transfer after phone calls, but it does seem to reduce mask transfer. Let's not give up on radiance, coverage, and lasting power even in the hot summer!

I've been consistently using Espoir base products for 3 years now, starting with their Pro Tailor Foundation Be Silk. They offer a wide range of shades, great quality, and affordable prices. 🧑🏽 (Shade 25) I have a darker complexion and prefer base makeup that matches my neck color. I usually use Tan or Honey shades from Espoir. The Petal shade is quite light for me, so please refer to this review for texture and performance rather than color match. I'll compare it to the Taping Cover Cushion in Tan that I used previously. 🍑 Color This cushion has a pink base that gives a bright look. Unlike other light products that can look ashy on my skin, this one doesn't. It gives a radiant brightness. However, due to the color difference with my neck, I only apply this to highlight areas to brighten my face, not all over. 🍑 Skin Finish This product definitely focuses on 'moisture'. Compared to the Taping Cover Cushion, it's less heavy and has a beautiful glow. It's not an oily shine, but more of a natural, dewy finish. It's less likely to emphasize dead skin cells and feels hydrating. Unlike some high-coverage products that can settle into facial hair and look like flakes when applied too thickly, this one doesn't have that issue. 🍑 Puff The puff is soft and peach-shaped. It's not circular but has a pointed end, making it easy to apply around the nose area meticulously.
ConsThe coverage is much lighter compared to the Taping Cover Cushion. (If you want high coverage and a matte finish, I'd recommend the Taping Cover Cushion instead.) It can leave fingerprints on the product. It also transfers onto masks. It tends to crease in the eyelid and under-eye areas. In summer, you might feel the finish is a bit tacky after application.
TipThis works great with Espoir's Water Splash Sun Cream. That sunscreen is perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. It doesn't cause deep dryness and acts as an excellent makeup base. It applies smoothly. To minimize transfer onto masks, gently press a tissue on your face before putting on the mask.
