I wanted to try the Hwahae extract, so I bought it. I used it for about a month. It's a complete water-based formula, so it absorbs lightly and nicely. You can even use it like a mist by putting it in an empty bottle. The redness seems to be definitely calmed down.
Cons
While the acne and sebum did not calm down, the redness was reduced, but the skin did not improve. Additionally, there was a slightly unusual odor.

I recommend it because the water toner is quickly absorbed, even though it's just that. My skin type is dry.

It's a completely watery formula, so it drips down when I apply it. And I think it would be better if the opening was a pump-type.

It's great for filling in moisture as the first step after cleansing, as it's a lightweight water-type that absorbs well. When my skin feels heated, I soak a cotton pad with it and use it as a soothing pack. It's also good to use instead of water when doing a modeling pack.

The formula is extremely thin and watery, so absorption is good, but it's not easy to dispense and apply by hand haha. It tends to flow out easily. I felt that it had a calming effect. Spreadability: I've been using it since 4th grade and my skin has really improved and it spreads well. Absorbency: It's really absorbed in just 10 seconds and it's moisturizing.
Cons
There was not much of an effect on reducing oily skin or acne.
Tip

The ingredients seem kind and good. I'm not using it currently, and I gave it to my younger sibling, who said they were able to use it without any trouble. The application is light, and the scent of Houttuynia cordata seems a bit strong. It absorbs well.

You should carefully check if the product suits your skin type. I have acne-prone skin, so I thought products with salicylic acid would be fine for me, but even after using them, more pimples kept appearing on my face. However, I recently found out that my skin also has folliculitis, and in that case, products with salicylic acid can actually further irritate the folliculitis. If you have severe acne and find that the products you're using are making it worse, you may want to consider the possibility of having folliculitis as well.
