  The high content of Houttuynia cordata extract and the affordable price are definite advantages.

  Cons

  I have oily skin, but this made it too dry... Using this product damaged my skin barrier... It accelerated dead skin cell turnover, made my skin flaky, and threw off my oil and moisture balance, causing even more excess sebum production.

  I'm not sure... I guess it works well for those who find it suitable...

  Cons

  The first day was fine, but the next morning after using an exfoliating toner, I suddenly felt tightness and dryness while at school. In the evening, I used the exfoliating toner again, and my face started burning, itching, and breaking out. It seems like an allergic reaction. It looks like it works well for others though...

  Pros

  The fact that it's pure Houttuynia cordata extract, which is known to be good for acne-prone skin, and the positive image of the One Thing brand itself makes me feel like using it will improve my skin!

  Cons

  Many people seem to use this product well, but for me, it stings when I apply it and causes blemishes to appear, so I'm hesitant to use it. After applying, I noticed a few blemishes coming up. Could it be the butylene glycol ingredient causing the issue? I usually tolerate Houttuynia cordata well, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I really want to make it work for me.

  I bought this when there was a lot of hype about houttuynia cordata. It turned out to be good value for money and quite hydrating.

  Cons

  Perhaps houttuynia cordata doesn't suit my skin, as it actually caused blemishes for me.

  The product really seems to offer great value for money. Good price and good ingredients? It's a win-win!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, this product didn't agree with my skin... I'm not sure if it's the Angelica Gigas extract that doesn't suit me or if it's the product as a whole. It's a bit disappointing.

  It seems to have a calming effect. I actually ordered this by mistake instead of the Centella one, but when I mix it half-and-half with water for my modeling mask, I notice it's more soothing than using water alone.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's because it's a single-ingredient essence, but it's quite irritating. Those with super sensitive skin should probably use it on a schedule with rest days in between. When I used it daily, my skin felt a burning sensation and was really tingling.

  This product with a high concentration of Houttuynia Cordata would be great for those who respond well to it...

  Cons

  As I have sensitive skin, using this high-concentration Houttuynia Cordata product caused contact dermatitis. I tried it as a toner pack, but after removing it, my skin felt hot and irritated. It's disappointing.

  Tip

  Only use this if you're not sensitive and your skin responds well to Houttuynia Cordata

  I got this on sale, so it was a great deal. My sister said it was cheap, so I felt compelled to order it too. I have sensitive, dry skin. Since this product has a single ingredient and I'm a fan of Houttuynia cordata, I had no reason not to buy it. Plus, it's free from harmful ingredients.

  Unfortunately, it didn't agree with my skin. I'm not sure why, but when I use this, my skin becomes sensitive and my face feels hot. It hasn't caused any breakouts yet, but I'm on the fence about continuing to use it. Everyone's skin sensitivity is different, so it's best to try before you buy. I also tried their mugwort toner from the same line, but I had an allergic reaction after just two uses. My face was swollen for a week, and I got a rash of tiny bumps. My skin was itchy and painful - I almost considered taking medication. Instead, I just avoided applying anything for about a week, and the symptoms disappeared. Having this happen once makes me a bit scared to use the Houttuynia cordata product. I thought about returning it, but it was too much hassle. So now it's just sitting prettily at home, unused.
