This product doesn't really work for my skin type since houttuynia cordata isn't my cup of tea. I accidentally ordered it despite having dry skin. I mistakenly ordered this thinking it contained centella asiatica. While houttuynia cordata doesn't cause blemishes on my skin, every time I apply it, I feel like I'm on the verge of a breakout. I forced myself to use it up because I didn't want to waste it. It's important to carefully check product ingredients, especially if you have sensitive or dry skin. What works for one person may not work for another, so it's always best to do a patch test before fully incorporating a new product into your skincare routine.

I have thin, super sensitive skin, so I don't usually use toners. But with summer approaching, I thought it would be good to control sebum and oil, and prep my skin for makeup. That's why I decided to give toners another try. Since it's crucial for me to use non-irritating products that help reduce redness, I chose this one after reading reviews. First off, I love the simple packaging. It's also very convenient to use - even a small amount is easily absorbed into cotton pads or gauze. When I leave it on like a pad, it definitely helps calm redness and leaves my skin feeling comfortable. The price point is great too, making it good value for money. Given all the positive reviews, I had pretty high expectations. While it wasn't as dramatically effective as I hoped, I don't have any major complaints. It's certainly gentler than other harsh toners and does help reduce that burning sensation on my skin. My teenage son loves using this. In my son's case, it even helps calm down those small bumps. He's over twenty and still uses it consistently, so it must be effective. I can't think of any particular downsides. The only thing is that you might need additional hydration. This product seems to be a hit with young adults dealing with blemishes. The watery texture is fantastic! It feels like water but absorbs beautifully into the skin. Absolutely love it! While it doesn't cause any blemishes, which is great, there's nothing to complain about. I love it! It's moisturizing and seems to make my skin healthier. None whatsoever! Using it as a toner after cleansing both morning and night seems to be making my skin healthier.

The high content of Houttuynia cordata extract and the affordable price are definite advantages. I have oily skin, but this made it too dry... Using this product damaged my skin barrier... It accelerated dead skin cell turnover, made my skin flaky, and threw off my oil and moisture balance, causing even more excess sebum production.
