It lathers better and has better cleansing effectiveness compared to the natural shampoo I used before At first, it seemed fine and I thought I might stick with this shampoo. However, as I used it longer, my scalp condition deteriorated. I'm not sure if the tea tree ingredient didn't agree with me, but I experienced severe dead skin cells buildup and my scalp became itchy, making it difficult to continue using Please note that the tea tree scent is quite strong - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2021
The cooling sensation is nice...? Even if it didn't work for me, at least the ingredients are good...? Oh, I usually love Sidmool products, but this shampoo really didn't agree with me. Not knowing I had a dry scalp, I bought this one for oily scalps. The tea tree might not have suited me because my scalp became dry and itchy. I ended up scratching until I bled. I didn't realize it was the shampoo at first, but when I stopped using it and the itching went away, I figured out the cause. I strongly advise against this for those with dry scalps. The scent isn't great either, but I can tolerate it since it's a natural brand. The price is high, and I'd be willing to pay if it worked for my scalp, but unfortunately, it just doesn't suit me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 29, 2020
Won't repurchase. Quick review: Doesn't lather well, so it feels less effective at cleansing. On the plus side, it's gentle on the skin. Doesn't seem to reduce hair loss. The itchiness persisted as well... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2020
The gentle ingredients, I suppose...? That's about all I can think of. I had such sensitive, inflamed scalp that I even went to a dermatologist. I was using the green bottle shampoo from Manyo Factory, which helped a lot, so I thought about trying a different shampoo. I found this one with many positive reviews and decided to give it a try. However, my scalp condition gradually worsened. It became itchy, inflamed, dandruff appeared, and I even noticed an odor from my scalp. I immediately stopped using it and switched back to a regular shampoo I had at home, which made things better... The texture was too thick and the overall experience was unpleasant. It was really... disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJan 14, 2019
The ingredients are great, and it seems to cleanse well. It also lathers up nicely. I have an itchy, dry scalp. After using this, it feels even itchier and drier. I'm a fan of Sidmool, but all their shampoos have been disappointing for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 16, 2018
There were no positive aspects. It was a big mistake to assume it would be good based on internet recommendations and its natural + tea tree ingredients. I have seborrheic dermatitis and an oily scalp. I bought this shampoo earlier this year or late last year after reading on Director Pi's blog that it's good for oily scalps. But my scalp completely flared up in just 3 days. Not only was it itchy, but I also had blemishes that oozed and bled, causing pain. I had to stop using it. After using it only 3 times, I switched to a different shampoo and my scalp calmed down a bit. Months later, I saw Director Pi post about shampoos again, mentioning that it might not suit sensitive scalps... If you have super sensitive skin, please don't use this. The fragrance wasn't great either. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJul 30, 2018
I'm not quite sure. I bought it because I liked it... Maybe it's because my scalp was already in bad shape? I bought this for seborrheic alopecia... but I'm still not sure about its effectiveness. My scalp still itches just the same... I'm in the middle of using it, but I wonder if I should look for a different product... My hair gets tangled, so I mix it with oil when I use it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2018
I really liked how gentle it felt, but unfortunately it didn't suit my skin It was fine at first, but then it became too stiff and one day it started making my skin incredibly itchy - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 21, 2018
Absolutely nothing positive to say. It's the worst of the worst. The most terrible shampoo I've ever used in my life. Please be extremely cautious when considering this product. Choose very carefully... As soon as I started using it, I developed dandruff, blemishes appeared, and my scalp became unbearably itchy. I've stopped using it and switched to something else, but I'm really at a loss for what to do now. I'm not sure if my skin will ever recover from this sensitivity... Sigh. Everyone, please be very careful when selecting this product. I'll never buy it again and strongly advise against it. I hope no one else experiences the same issues I did... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2018
I have seborrheic dermatitis, so my scalp is in really bad shape. I usually have to use a cooling shampoo that deeply cleanses my scalp, and I'm limited to just 1-2 specific shampoos to keep the itching at bay. The downside is that they're so harsh, my hair ends up feeling like dog fur. So I was on the hunt for a shampoo that wasn't too harsh but still left my scalp feeling fresh. That's when I tried this one, and I can definitely say it's improved my hair texture. It feels a bit stiff while washing, but once it's rinsed out, there's a noticeable difference. Maybe it's because I've been using such harsh shampoos all this time, but I really felt like, 'Ah, so this is what a shampoo without harmful ingredients is like.' I think this would be amazing for people with normal scalps - it should leave your hair feeling clean and improve its texture. That's why I ended up giving it to my mom. The reason I gave it to my mom is because it couldn't handle my scalp issues. Looks like I'm out of luck when it comes to gentle, ingredient-conscious shampoos in this lifetime. What's wrong with my scalp? It feels fine right after washing, but the itching comes back pretty quickly. So... I couldn't keep using it. Can someone please recommend a good shampoo for me? It feels a bit stiff when you're washing your hair, but once you dry it, it becomes soft. So don't worry when you're lathering up.
