I have an extremely oily scalp, but compared to other shampoos, this one seems to leave my hair feeling less greasy. It feels a bit stiff when washing my hair. After using it for a long time, I feel like it's not as effective as it was initially. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2019
I decided to try this based on a friend's recommendation, and I found the cleansing effectiveness wasn't bad at all. As someone with oily skin, I noticed it made my skin less greasy, which was pretty good. After washing my hair, it becomes so incredibly stiff that I absolutely have to use rinse or conditioner. It's not just a feeling of hair falling out - it's almost like the hair is breaking off. That's how severe the dryness is. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2019
Reduced folliculitis Strengthened hair No more worries about greasy scalp in the afternoon even after washing in the morning Pleasant tea tree scent Would prefer more abundant lather Although lather doesn't equal cleansing power, psychologically... it makes me use more product For an even cleaner scalp, try washing once as a pre-cleanse - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 17, 2019
Excellent at removing excess oil, making it great for oily scalps prone to blemishes It's unscented and leaves hair feeling stiff, which seems unavoidable. Also, the consistency is quite thin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2018
The cleansing effectiveness is great. It removes oil really well. Because the cleansing power is so strong, I ended up with a lot of dandruff. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2017
I bought a small item online for under 20,000 won. It was advertised as a good shampoo with various benefits. It might be good for those with oily hair... Please use it if you have greasy hair. ㅠㅠ I have seborrheic scalp. I tend to have oily, flaky, and scaly scalp. So I've been trying different products, and after finishing the Head & Shoulders, I searched and bought the one recommended by a famous editor. But after using it for a day or two, it's been getting more and more itchy. With Head & Shoulders, my hair would just get a bit oily by the evening, but with this one, I get scalp flakes and itchiness within 6 hours of washing. My boyfriend even told me to go back to using the previous shampoo. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I can't bring myself to throw it away since it's a waste, so I'll have to give it to my family to use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2017
When I wash my hair, it feels refreshing, and when I used other shampoos, my hair would get oily by the afternoon, which was really unpleasant. But after using the Sidmool Tea Tree Shampoo, my hair stayed completely soft and fluffy the next day, and my hairstyle became more calm.^^ Compared to the shampoos sold at the mart, the price-to-volume ratio is lower, and the lather is less (though it wasn't too inconvenient for me). When washing my hair, it feels a bit sticky. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2017
Well, the ingredients seem good, and it feels like it's less greasy. The mental reassurance of using a tea tree shampoo? I used to be someone with a healthy scalp. I was a bit oily, but I didn't have dandruff or itchiness. After using the tea tree shampoo to control the oil, I've started getting dandruff and breakouts, and the itchiness is no joke. I'm still using it reluctantly because I spent a lot of money on it, but I really don't think it's working for me anymore. I'll have to try alternating it with other shampoos. The cleansing power is also quite weak. When I shower and use it, there's some lather, but I have to pump it several times. When I just wash my hair, there's hardly any lather at all, so the cleansing power is really poor. It makes my scalp even more itchy. I wonder if I'm the only one experiencing this. At this rate, regular drugstore shampoos might be better. A lot of people have recommended the red ginseng shampoo, and it seems to be good even for people with oily scalps. My boyfriend has some thinning hair, and I told him to try it, and his hair has gotten a bit thicker. When I use it, my hair feels more comfortable too. The downside is the ginseng scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 5, 2017
I will designate it as my life shampoo. I've tried a lot of natural shampoos, but it was hard to find one that suits me. Finally, I've found the perfect shampoo! I even left a review on the Seedmall website, although it's a bit of a hassle. If you have an oily scalp, you really must try this. After using this, I have less oil and my hair doesn't smell as much. Most importantly, I no longer have stubborn sebum buildup on my scalp! It's amazing. It's better than regular drugstore shampoos, but my hair feels a bit stiff. I need to use a conditioner. The Cheonmiyang Seaweed Shampoo left my hair soft even without a conditioner, but it didn't quite manage my oily scalp... And the Cheonmiyang Black Rice Shampoo, although marketed for oily hair, still made my hair a bit soft (not as much as the seaweed one) and provided some scalp care, but it was still lacking somehow. I also tried the John Masters Organics Shampoo, but I don't remember it well enough to compare. Anyway, the Tea Tree one is the best. Be sure to thoroughly wet your hair and work up the lather with your hands, focusing on your scalp. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2017
My hair was falling out a lot, so I switched to a natural shampoo, and now my hair is not falling out as much and it's not as greasy. I'm so happy about it! The price is a bit higher compared to other shampoos. :(
