It really helped improve my oily scalp. For a natural shampoo, it lathers up surprisingly well. Usually, you need to wash twice to feel like you've cleaned your hair properly. It leaves hair feeling a bit stiff, so using a hair essence alongside it works best. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2019
- Effective for those struggling with seborrheic dermatitis-prone scalp - Suitable for oily scalps - Adds volume to hair without weighing it down - Slightly disappointing in terms of value compared to similar products like Paula's Choice or Lush shampoos - Not recommended for those sensitive to tea tree - For a shampoo without surfactants, it lathers surprisingly well. You can wash your hair with less product than expected - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMay 9, 2019
While I don't have hair loss issues, I used to struggle with hair shedding, dead skin cells, and my straight hair would get incredibly greasy after just a few touches. I'd often go out with oily hair, but now the smell is pleasant, and hair shedding has decreased significantly. My hair doesn't fall out as much, and new hair is growing well. The product is gentle, and I was worried it might not lather much, but just two pumps create plenty of foam. The abundant lather means it cleanses effectively. With its large size, I've fallen in love with Sidmool and now use their products for both my body and face. The scent fades quickly, and my husband says my scalp still has an odor... If you wet your hair thoroughly and use about three pumps to massage, it feels refreshing, cleanses well, and rinses out easily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2019
My scalp is oily but not seborrheic, with hair loss and severe itching. My skin is prone to chronic acne, combination dehydrated, and rich in dead skin cells. This shampoo calms the itching without triggering acne on the skin. I'm trying to shampoo every other day due to hair loss, and this has enough cleansing effectiveness to use every 1.5 to 2 days. The reduced itching has also improved my hair loss situation. It makes my hair very stiff. Like most natural or gentle shampoos, you'll have to give up on silky, flowing hair. It seems even more effective for hair loss when combined with a jojoba oil scalp massage. If you have an oily scalp like mine, only do it for about five minutes. I noticed pimples appearing when I massaged for longer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2019
Reduced folliculitis Strengthened hair No more worries about greasy scalp in the afternoon even after washing in the morning Pleasant tea tree scent Would prefer more abundant lather Although lather doesn't equal cleansing power, psychologically... it makes me use more product For an even cleaner scalp, try washing once as a pre-cleanse - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 11, 2019
After using regular shampoos that come in holiday gift sets, I noticed my hair was falling out at an alarming rate due to stress. I was really worried, so I switched to this tea tree shampoo. Since then, my hair loss has significantly decreased. Some people say it doesn't lather well, but I find it foams up nicely. I only apply it to my scalp, which might be why I get a good lather. I use about half a pump each time. I've finished one bottle and reordered. Although it's pricier than other shampoos for the amount you get, I've seen such improvement with this tea tree biotin shampoo that I plan to stick with it for the next few months. Unfortunately, it doesn't control oily hair very well. This is a big drawback for me. As someone with oily scalp, if I wash my hair in the morning, it starts to get greasy again by evening. It's supposed to be fragrance-free, but every time I use it, I smell something like petroleum. I'm not sure if it's just my nose, but despite being labeled as unscented, the smell is quite unpleasant. I don't have any special tips. Just make sure to rinse it out thoroughly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 4, 2018
I'm already on my third bottle of this product! I used to have a lot of red blemishes on my scalp and dandruff, but after using this, both issues have noticeably improved. When I had my scalp checked with a camera at the salon, it looked clean! The scent isn't great, it's a bit like petroleum? When I wash with this, I feel like my scalp odor returns faster than with other chemical shampoos. It also makes my hair texture slightly dry. Plus, it's quite runny, so there's a lot of waste. However, the scalp improvement benefits make up for these drawbacks. The Pyueste shampoo is slightly oily, so I think it's best to alternate between the two products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2018
I have seborrheic dermatitis, and this product has significantly reduced my symptoms. I appreciate that it has gentle ingredients. While it's not overly expensive compared to other scalp care shampoos, it's certainly pricier than regular shampoos. Also, even though it's a natural shampoo, make sure it's suitable for your specific needs! When using, I wait a few minutes before rinsing it out. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 3, 2018
- My scalp was oily and sensitive, and I was experiencing stress-related hair loss. - After using this shampoo, I feel like I'm losing less hair. With my previous shampoo, I used to lose a lot of hair when drying, but with this one, there's noticeably less hair fall. - The downside is that it doesn't lather well (even with a foam net, it's not very rich). Coming from regular store-bought shampoos, I wasn't impressed with its cleansing effectiveness. After washing, it doesn't leave that refreshingly clean feeling, so I end up washing twice. - Try using a foam net to create as much lather as possible for better results. - Since it doesn't feel completely refreshing after one wash, consider shampooing twice for a more thorough cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2018
At first, I felt my scalp getting cleaner and was pleased to see a noticeable decrease in hair fall. Despite being a natural shampoo, it didn't leave my hair feeling particularly stiff. However, after about a month of use, I noticed an increasing amount of dandruff flakes on my scalp. It's probably due to dryness. Moreover, if I skip shampooing for just one day, my scalp odor becomes unbearable. I can personally experience the unpleasant smell of my own scalp. Surprisingly, my hair still doesn't fall out much. It's important to note that with natural shampoos, double cleansing is essential due to their milder cleansing effectiveness.
