This product really helped reduce my blemishes significantly. If your skin responds well to tea tree, I highly recommend it. While I was a bit disappointed by the smaller-than-expected quantity, it's still a good product overall. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 3, 2023
It's so gentle and non-irritating, which I love! It really helped calm my blemishes. The cleansing effectiveness isn't the best, so I use it for morning cleansing or as a second cleanser. When I use this on its own, I like to lather it up on my face and massage it in circular motions, then leave it on for a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2023
A gentle gel cleanser that doesn't cause tightness, lathers well, and helps control sebum. The tea tree scent is a big hit for those who love it. It's great for soothing blemishes too. This is my second repurchase of this all-around good cleanser. It's better than most drugstore products out there. Once you get used to the slightly slippery feel, it's a top-notch product. I highly recommend this along with the Kakadu cleanser. It might be slightly disappointing for those looking for a squeaky clean feel or a product that removes makeup as well, as it's not a second-step cleanser. Using the apricot seed cleanser together with this tea tree mild gel cleanser creates a really great combination. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2021
I've only used samples twice, but I generally think cleansers are all pretty similar, with differences mainly in pH levels, whether they cause blemishes, and how drying they are. However, this product was exceptionally good for me. It's a clear liquid with a tea tree scent that lathers well. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel overly dry, but refreshed and comfortable. It didn't aggravate my blemishes and seemed to have a calming effect. My skin felt genuinely soothed and refreshed. I still have some of my current low-pH foam cleanser left, but I'm 100% planning to purchase this later. It seems suitable for all seasons, but I think it'll be especially great for summer. As expected with a low-pH cleanser, its cleansing effectiveness is mild and gentle, so it might not be suitable for removing mineral sunscreen or heavy makeup. It would be great to use this after a first cleanse on days when your skin feels oily or when you've only applied light sunscreen in the morning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 6, 2021
It's gentle on my sensitive combination skin and completely cleared up the small bumps under my chin. While it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather much, I'm not really bothered by it since my skin feels great after cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 21, 2021
I got hooked on the tea tree scent after using this! Highly recommend for those with blemish-prone skin. It's great for calming blemishes without causing irritation. If you're not a fan of tea tree scent, you might not like this. Some people might feel like it doesn't cleanse thoroughly enough, as it doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling. Personally, I prefer this gentler cleansing sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 15, 2020
It lathers well, smells nice, and seems to be good for blemishes Not sure if it's particularly effective for blackheads and whiteheads - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 20, 2020
This is an excellent cleanser for morning use. I loved the cooling effect it provides! As someone with acne-prone skin, I've always found tea tree products to have a soothing effect. While skin types vary, if tea tree works well for you, I'd recommend this even for blemish-prone skin! The downside is that you can't expect strong cleansing effectiveness. Also, even after rinsing, it feels like there's still a slippery lather, so I didn't find myself reaching for it very often. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 19, 2020
When I had small blemishes, I washed my face morning and night with this. It was definitely refreshing and had a soft texture that helped soothe my skin. I really liked it. Compared to other products, it's not the best value for money. The volume is small, so using it morning and night means it runs out too quickly. I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and whiteheads. Even when I cleanse morning and night, it doesn't cause any deep dryness at all. It cleanses gently and my makeup applies well afterwards. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 12, 2020
Whiteheads: Where are they? Oh, they're just a memory now! Wow... The cooling effect while using it was so unique, and the tingling tea tree scent made me think 'This has got to zap those blemishes!' Lo and behold, about 70% of the whiteheads on my forehead have disappeared...! Usually, my forehead produces a lot of sebum, leading to hard, blackhead-like sebum plugs. But they've just vanished! It's absolutely amazing...!! I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. I love the characteristic zing of tea tree, and I even have 100% tea tree oil. You can really feel how much tea tree goodness is packed into this cleanser while using it! The scent... oh, the scent... While cleansing, you get intoxicated by the tea tree smell, but there's also a slight funky odor. It feels refreshing when rinsed off with cold water though. I couldn't write this on the official website review, but... It smells like if you buried tea tree seeds in compost and then squeezed them out... A faint whiff of this lingers on your hands and such after washing... It's a mix of that characteristic oil smell and something a bit funky. But since it doesn't contain any harmful fragrances, I can tolerate it. Also, since tea tree itself is a bit of a potent ingredient, it does have that zingy feeling! It might be irritating for those with super sensitive skin. Since it's a product for acne-prone skin that targets excess sebum, it can be a bit drying after cleansing~ Make sure to apply plenty of moisturizer. I found it better for a light morning cleanse rather than heavy evening cleansing! And washing with cool water felt more refreshing and pleasant than using warm water.
