I've used about half the bottle and I'm really satisfied! My skin is combination dehydrated, and usually cleansing foams leave it feeling tight and dry. This one, however, is definitely less drying and gentler on the skin. Those with extremely oily skin might find the cleansing effectiveness a bit lacking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 25, 2024
It's gentle on the skin after use. I love that it has almost no scent and the fragrance is subtle. It doesn't lather up as much as I'd like, and the cleansing effectiveness is a bit lacking for summer use. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 3, 2023
It's so gentle and non-irritating, which I love! It really helped calm my blemishes. The cleansing effectiveness isn't the best, so I use it for morning cleansing or as a second cleanser. When I use this on its own, I like to lather it up on my face and massage it in circular motions, then leave it on for a bit. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2023
Dr. Troub Cleansing Milk works great as a second cleanser. Use about 1.5 pumps, lather well, and focus on areas with more sebum production like the nose and chin to help control oiliness. True to its name as a mild cleanser, it's gentle enough for oily skin types who find water-only cleansing in the morning insufficient. Its cleansing effectiveness isn't exceptional, so it may not completely eliminate excess sebum. For occasional deep cleansing, I switch to Banila Co. BHA Cleanser or Toun28 Tea Tree Soap. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2023
A gentle gel cleanser that doesn't cause tightness, lathers well, and helps control sebum. The tea tree scent is a big hit for those who love it. It's great for soothing blemishes too. This is my second repurchase of this all-around good cleanser. It's better than most drugstore products out there. Once you get used to the slightly slippery feel, it's a top-notch product. I highly recommend this along with the Kakadu cleanser. It might be slightly disappointing for those looking for a squeaky clean feel or a product that removes makeup as well, as it's not a second-step cleanser. Using the apricot seed cleanser together with this tea tree mild gel cleanser creates a really great combination. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 17, 2023
Its slightly acidic formula allows for cleansing without drying out the skin. It feels a bit slippery, making it hard to tell if it's cleansing effectively, and it doesn't lather as much as expected. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 5, 2022
Surprisingly, my skin feels more hydrated after washing! It's not irritating at all, and the pump dispenser keeps everything hygienic. The hydrating effect might mean it's not cleansing thoroughly. It doesn't remove sunscreen or facial oils effectively. There's an odd, pungent tea tree scent. Being a water-based formula, it's easy to use too much. Perfect for preteens who don't wear makeup but need to cleanse. Great as a second cleanse or for morning routines. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2022
It's gentle and works well for oily skin, leaving it moisturized without any greasy shine. I'm really enjoying using it. The cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong. For most suncare products, it's essential to follow up with a second cleanse using a milk cleanser or oil. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2022
It doesn't leave any residue after use and seems gentle on the skin. Unlike other foam cleansers, it doesn't make my skin feel tight afterwards. The lather doesn't form easily, and its cleansing effectiveness is a bit weak for removing makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2021
I've only used samples twice, but I generally think cleansers are all pretty similar, with differences mainly in pH levels, whether they cause blemishes, and how drying they are. However, this product was exceptionally good for me. It's a clear liquid with a tea tree scent that lathers well. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel overly dry, but refreshed and comfortable. It didn't aggravate my blemishes and seemed to have a calming effect. My skin felt genuinely soothed and refreshed. I still have some of my current low-pH foam cleanser left, but I'm 100% planning to purchase this later. It seems suitable for all seasons, but I think it'll be especially great for summer. As expected with a low-pH cleanser, its cleansing effectiveness is mild and gentle, so it might not be suitable for removing mineral sunscreen or heavy makeup. It would be great to use this after a first cleanse on days when your skin feels oily or when you've only applied light sunscreen in the morning.
