Super gentle on the skin. I've gone through at least 5 bottles, so I've used it a lot. Despite being low pH, it still had quite good cleansing effectiveness. While using this, I experienced small bumps, uneven texture, excess sebum, and clogged pores on my nose. I kept using it without suspecting the cleansing foam. Being low pH, it seems unable to remove sebum effectively. Even with vigorous rubbing, it doesn't work. After washing, if I lightly scratch my forehead, sebum comes right out. I thought I just had overactive sebum production, so I focused intensely on exfoliation, BHA/AHA masks, and pore cleansing. But it turns out the cleansing foam wasn't cleaning out the sebum at all. When I switched to a different foam cleanser, all these issues cleared up completely. If you have oily skin, absolutely do not use this - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2023
The affordable price and low pH are great advantages. It's gentle on the skin with no irritation, and it produces just the right amount of foam. Since I rarely wear makeup, it seems to remove even my mineral sunscreen effectively. On days when I do wear makeup, I first remove it with an oil cleanser before using this, so I don't have any particular complaints. If you use this with a Daiso foam maker, you can cleanse your face with rich, creamy foam. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 17, 2023
Its slightly acidic formula allows for cleansing without drying out the skin. It feels a bit slippery, making it hard to tell if it's cleansing effectively, and it doesn't lather as much as expected. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2022
Tried 2 samples on Feb 26, 2022. The scent is pleasant. Being slightly acidic, it makes the skin feel softer. It doesn't remove excess oil effectively. Tea tree seems to disagree with my skin. I developed blemishes on my cheeks. Considering the tea tree modeling mask worked well for me, I wonder if it's the high concentration or the tea tree oil that doesn't suit me. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 10, 2021
My skin type when using: Oily, acne-prone, sensitive I loved that it's mildly acidic! After washing, there's no tightness, and it's genuinely gentle as the name suggests. Since I started using it, I've never experienced any blemishes because of this cleanser. It might be challenging to solve acne problems with this alone. It just feels like a typical, mild acidic cleanser. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 2, 2021
It's a decent product overall. It doesn't cause blemishes and is gentle on the skin. It has a low pH level. The cleansing effectiveness is not bad. While it doesn't lather up much, it offers good value for money with its affordable price and generous quantity. However, I'm not sure about its effectiveness in calming acne. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. The scent isn't unpleasant either. It's a pretty straightforward product to use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2021
Effective at controlling sebum production. The tea tree ingredient is great for blemishes. It feels slippery because it's slightly acidic, so don't try to wash it off too aggressively. Just rinse as you normally would. Some say it doesn't lather much, but I didn't find that particularly inconvenient. It's because this cleanser doesn't contain harsh surfactants. When washing your face, use water that's comfortably warm. Gently splash it about 10 times, focusing on the T-zone, as if you're lightly touching your face. This helps dissolve some of the excess oil. Then, use one pump of cleanser to create a lather - that should be enough. Massage it in for about 1 to 1.5 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Your skin will feel incredibly refreshed. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2020
I love that this low pH product still produces enough foam for a thorough cleanse. Best of all, it doesn't leave my skin slippery but instead effectively removes sebum, leaving my face feeling clean. Whether it's because of this or something else, I've noticed a significant reduction in skin inflammation during the month-plus I've been using it. I think I'll be sticking with this! I can't think of any downsides! While reading reviews, I noticed some people found it didn't suit their skin, but both my sister and I had no issues with it. This is one of the products you can get as a sample when purchasing from Sidmool. If you're interested in trying it out, I'd recommend getting a sample first. If it works well for you, then you can go ahead and order the full-size product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2020
It's great for morning cleansing. Being mildly acidic, it has sufficient cleansing effectiveness without irritating the skin, leaving it feeling fresh and clean. The foam doesn't lather well without a foaming net, so I'd recommend using it with one for better results. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2020
I have sensitive skin that immediately reacts with small bumps or blemishes when a product doesn't suit me! My skin type is oily with a lack of hydration. I bought this product after researching the ingredients, as I heard tea tree was good. My sister warned me not to buy it because it didn't work for her, but I got it for myself anyway. Although it's a low pH cleanser, it lathers well and feels light. It's effective as a second cleanse and works great for morning washes too. However, you might need to get used to the slightly slippery feeling. The price seems reasonable for what you get. The reason my positive points are brief is... not everything from Sidmool suits me, unfortunately. There are a few products that don't work for me, and I think I need to add this Tea Tree Cleanser to that list. These are my thoughts after using two bottles: With the first bottle, I alternated between this cleanser and a basic Japanese Acne-S cleanser, so I didn't notice much. I thought it was great for the price and opened a second bottle. When I bought the first bottle, the bright blue color didn't change. I knew it could discolor, but it didn't, and I had no blemishes. The second bottle gradually changed from blue to green. Now, about 1/3 through use, I think this cleanser is causing my blemishes. Of course, I bought the two bottles separately. I didn't open two at once! After surgery, I stayed at my parents' house for 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, I used Ato* Cica Cleanser and Ato* Basic Cleanser. My skin improved so much without any blemishes. But when I came home and washed with my cleanser, I started getting blemishes. After a week at home, I realized the cleanser was the cause. I'm not sure if tea tree doesn't suit me like my sister, or if this product is particularly harsh. I love Sidmool and I'm a big fan, but I think I'll have to stop using this for facial cleansing and just use it as a body wash. I kept the cleanser cap and took the whole bottle with me when traveling!
