I love how it gives my skin a beautiful glow and keeps it hydrated! This cushion foundation breaks down too easily when wearing a mask. I'll wait until winter to use it again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2021
It feels moisturizing while naturally brightening my complexion. It gives a nice, subtle glow and luminosity. I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike a dewy finish. There's a slight issue with it settling into the creases around the nose area. If you apply this after a thorough skincare routine, it'll likely enhance the hydrated appearance of your skin even more. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 23, 2020
Great coverage and hydration! The color isn't too light, giving a natural look. It's perfect for achieving a radiant glow and a slightly brightened appearance. I love using it so much that I'll probably stick to this product for a while. It seems to be unscented, but I think it would be even better if it had a pleasant fragrance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2020
Usually, shade 2 in makeup tends to be darker, but this one matched me perfectly, even giving a slight brightening effect. I typically use shade 21, but shade 2 worked well for me too. True to its name 'Inner Glow Cushion', it really gives a subtle, beautiful glow without being greasy. What I loved most was how gracefully it wore off, making touch-ups look natural and gorgeous - I couldn't stop admiring it in the mirror! (Though I did have to reapply due to mask wear.) It applies evenly without gaps, and the cushion feels sturdy, unlikely to break even with prolonged use. This cushion can easily compete with high-end department store brands! If you apply too much, it can look a bit off-color, similar to a BB cream, but it settles nicely after a while. This is probably due to the Inner Glow feature. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2020
As expected from a cushion by the masters of propolis essence, the moisturizing effect is immediately noticeable upon application and lasts for a long time, which is fantastic for someone with dry skin like me! Among the cushions I've tried, I dare say this one has one of the most remarkable cooling effects. The pleasant cooling sensation during application is just a bonus. It applies in an incredibly thin layer, so there's absolutely no heavy feeling. Personally, I was satisfied with how the puff seemed to maximize the glow even more! I loved how the puff didn't feel sticky and applied the product thinly onto the skin without absorbing too much of it. It seems they were aiming for a bright color, but on my skin, it had a slightly ashy undertone. As you apply more, the glow increases, but because the base color itself appears somewhat ashy, the glow can look a bit dull. After applying a base that matches your skin tone beautifully, try very lightly dabbing this cushion on top with a puff. This not only improves the adherence of the base you've applied but also gradually brings out a glow, making your skin look even more beautiful! The essence content must truly be high. As someone who has been using the propolis essence since before its renewal, I can't praise it enough. I recommend using it more for touch-ups rather than as your initial base makeup. For touch-ups, its thin application and non-clumping properties are perfect! For those whose skin tone matches well with this cushion, give it a try this winter! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 18, 2020
——————The Hwahae Testers Review—————— ʚ I have combination skin The product I used is #2 Natural Beige! ʚ Application I was worried this cushion might be super shiny and oily since it claims to contain a whole bottle of propolis ampoule for radiance. But contrary to my concerns, it gives a beautiful dewy glow without looking greasy or overly shiny! ʚ Longevity Usually when I apply a dewy cushion, my face gets oily over time, especially in the T-zone, causing my makeup to break down. However, with this cushion, even after hours of wear, there wasn't much oil production. It maintained its initial finish, only fading slightly where the mask touches the face, without breaking down due to excess oil. I really liked that! ʚ Color The #2 Natural Beige has a yellow base, which was perfect for my 22 warm undertone skin! I usually find that pink-beige 21 shades make my face look too ghostly, but since this product offers #1 with a pink base and #2 with a yellow base, using #2 gave me just the right amount of brightness. ʚ Scent While I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, I dislike it when cushions have an overpowering cosmetic smell upon application. With this cushion, I didn't even notice the scent while applying, which suggests it's not strong at all. ʚ Puff The puff is really bouncy and elastic! I've heard that the puff plays a crucial role in makeup application, and this one definitely delivers. Its bounciness seems to help the product adhere better to the skin. ʚ Recommended Skin Types Dry, Combination, and Oily!!! This cushion is a moisturizing formula that even oily skin types can use without worrying about looking greasy!! It gives a subtle Inner Glow, not a flashy shine that's visible from afar~ ʚ Coverage This definitely isn't a matte cushion, nor is it focused on high coverage, so don't expect too much in terms of coverage. While it does cover pores well, it doesn't completely hide blemishes. You'll need to use a concealer for additional coverage~ For those wanting an even more hydrated makeup look, I recommend applying a glowy base before the cushion. If you prefer a more matte finish, set it with some powder~ - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review: Skin type: Sensitive + Dry with very little oil and prone to blemishes. Application: It applies very thinly and moistly, providing a natural yet radiant coverage. Perhaps due to the full bottle of propolis essence, it gives a beautifully natural glow that makes your skin look gorgeous. It's a glow, not greasiness! I loved how it adheres to the face, providing some coverage without being thick. Coverage: Medium coverage. Usually, moisturizing cushions have lower coverage, but this one has adequate coverage. While it doesn't completely hide blemish marks, it does cover light marks and dark circles. I hardly used concealer with this product. Longevity: For a cushion, the staying power isn't bad. Of course, there might be some individual differences depending on how you prep your base. It also wears off beautifully without caking or pilling. No darkening, and the glow lasts long. Blemishes: I have sensitive skin prone to blemishes, so I'm cautious about irritation. This product wasn't irritating and didn't cause any breakouts. Recommended skin types: Great for sensitive and dry skin, and even suitable for combination dehydrated skin. Not recommended for very oily skin as the glow might feel heavy and greasy. Other positives: I loved how it applies lightly while giving a firm and glowing skin texture. It's great that it covers well and applies thinly without looking cakey. It gives a clean and bright skin look as if you're not wearing makeup! The yellow case and brown puff are cute, reminiscent of bees. It's a great cushion for fall and winter, keeping skin moisturized for a long time without drying out. The downside is that it transfers a lot onto masks. Perhaps because it has a dewy finish rather than a matte one. Also, due to its moisturizing formula, hair tends to stick to it easily. This cushion is great from the start, but it's excellent for touch-ups! When I used a different foundation and my makeup was cakey and messy, touching up with this cushion covered all the patchiness and made it look like the makeup had settled well. Also, since the cushion itself is moisturizing and contains essence, it's best to keep your skincare light and apply it when your skin isn't too oily.
