The scent is subtle, and it adheres well to the skin. At first, I was pleased that it didn't transfer onto my mask. However, after a few months of use, I noticed it started leaving marks on my mask, which was disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 25, 2021
1. Compared to other products, the ingredients seem relatively decent (based on personal standards). 2. The coverage is not bad either. 1. Semi-glow? It wasn't the kind of glow I was looking for. It doesn't even give that subtle Inner Glow like in the model photos. 2. It transfers onto masks terribly. 3. The way it breaks down is unattractive... After a while, it settles into the pores. I've tried various cushions from Cl**, Ma*, A****** etc., but none were as bad as this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJun 12, 2021
Compared to other cushion foundations, the price is quite reasonable, making it an excellent choice for students. It seems to transfer quite a bit when wearing a mask these days... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2021
I typically use Neutral 21 for my combination dehydrated skin. I was previously satisfied with the Rom&nd Zero Cushion, but stopped using it in winter as it became too matte. After receiving a cushion sample, I've been using this for about a month now. Being semi-glow, it lacks the mattifying effect of the previous compact, making it ideal for winter through spring. What impressed me most was its pore coverage! I have fairly large pores, but this product really excels at concealing them. Considering its coverage and pore-blurring abilities, I'm very pleased with this product. However, it does tend to settle into the creases around my nose over time. But I have oily skin, so this happens with most products I use, unfortunately. It also transfers quite a bit when wearing a mask. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2021
I chose 01 Pure 21 as I have a cool undertone and prefer a radiant complexion in shade 21! As soon as I applied it to my skin, I noticed its moisturizing absorbs and semi-glow finish. It doesn't give that super shiny, wet look, nor is it too matte or greasy. Instead, it creates a natural, subtle glow that makes your skin look healthier and more refined! I was worried that being a glow cushion, it might not adhere well to the skin. However, it applies in a thin layer and adheres perfectly, without feeling heavy, which made it really comfortable to wear! Being a glow cushion, there is some transfer and imprinting, but noticeably less than others! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 11, 2020
The color strikes a nice balance between natural and radiant, without being overly bright or dark. It should suit those with skin tones between 17-21 naturally. On my combination dehydrated skin, the staying power wasn't bad, and it didn't feel sticky. Even when oils surface, it breaks down prettily. I didn't expect much in terms of coverage, but it seems to provide about as much as a semi-matte cushion. Overall, it's a safe, reliable cushion foundation. I expected a subtle glow from the 'semi-glow' description, but the skin finish is actually closer to a semi-matte cushion. While it does break down nicely with a beautiful glow when oils come through, I was disappointed not to get that initial feeling when first applying the cushion. Being a glow cushion, it does tend to transfer onto masks a bit. Those with dry skin might need to ensure a solid skincare base before using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2020
Here's my honest review of the <rom&nd Clear Cover Cushion>: 1. Coverage - It's on the high side! I usually prioritize coverage and was using the E** Lauder foundation known for its high coverage. When I first saw this cushion, it looked dewy with a subtle glow, so I honestly didn't expect much coverage. But after patting it on evenly and looking in the mirror, I was amazed to see that my redness and blemishes were almost completely concealed! The coverage was surprisingly excellent, which I loved. 2. Adherence - Medium level When applying and after application, I felt it adhering well to my skin. This gave me the impression that it had good staying power. There was also a subtle glow that made my skin look healthy, which I really appreciated. 3. Application - Applies smoothly With each pat of the cushion, I could feel it absorbing into my skin with a moisturizing effect. It made me want to keep patting! I applied it in thin layers, patting repeatedly, and it spread evenly on my skin with a consistent tone and hydrating feel. First off, I was delighted by the elegant and beautiful packaging of the rom&nd Clear Cover Cushion. The puff isn't the usual round shape but has a slightly triangular edge, which is great for precise application around the eyes and nose. I appreciated this thoughtful design detail - it made me feel like they really considered the user experience. I'm a fan of rom&nd lip products, and they've done an excellent job with this cushion too. If you're looking for a subtle, natural glow while still prioritizing coverage, I'd highly recommend the rom&nd Clear Cover Cushion. If I had to point out a downside, it would be this: Despite the good adherence, when I touched an area where I'd applied the cushion, it transferred quite a bit onto my hand. It was like my hand 'ate' the cushion from that spot. So you'll need to be careful not to let anything touch your face after application. I found the transfer to be a bit disappointing. When first applying, try not to load too much product on the puff. Gently pat thin layers onto your skin. This method seems to enhance the glow, bring out your skin's translucency, and improve coverage with each layer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2020
I tried a cushion from Rom&nd for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the product quality was. The Clear Cover Cushion mainly emphasizes coverage, semi-glow, and hydration, and I can definitely vouch for all three of these aspects. - The coverage conceals blemishes without looking heavy, giving a natural skin appearance. There was no emphasis on pores or darkening! - They call it semi-glow, and it's just the right amount of radiance without being too shiny. I usually prefer semi-matte types, but I'd say this Clear Cover Cushion falls somewhere between semi-matte and semi-glow. It was perfect for me. - Hydration! This is truly impressive. My skin tends to be very dry, and usually by evening, my makeup starts to flake off, but not with this cushion. It was amazing how it maintained its initial appearance all day long without any darkening. Like all cushions, there was some transfer onto my mask. I really dislike transfer, so I applied powder only on my cheeks and nose area, but there was still a bit of transfer. Also, I used the lightest shade, but it wasn't as light as I expected. It wasn't too stark for me since I don't have extremely fair skin, but it might be a bit dark for those with very pale complexions. If you're worried about mask transfer, try lightly dusting powder just on your nose and cheek areas! It gives a feeling of being set while maintaining the glow. This way, your skin stays hydrated underneath while preventing shine on the surface - highly recommended! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinDec 11, 2020
I had the chance to try Pure #21 and naturally compared it to my usual product. It covers minor blemishes well, though it doesn't fully conceal my acne scars. The foundation absorbs well, leaving a moisturized feel, and brightens the complexion even with a thin layer. It seems to have less pilling than my previous product. I've included a photo showing how it looks with a light application. While it provides coverage with minimal product, it tends to transfer easily. I was quite surprised by how much it rubbed off on my mask. For extra hydration, try spritzing some toner on the cushion before application. It works wonders! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2020
As someone with yellowish skin, I typically opt for pink-based products. The shade 21 Pure Color I received wasn't overly red-toned, which I appreciated. It had just the right amount of pink without being excessive. Using the built-in puff, one application was enough to thinly cover my entire face. The attached photo shows the result after about two applications. After using it a couple of times, I noticed it covered my pores and the sides of my nose well without settling into them. I'm particularly impressed with how well it adheres to the sides of my nose, an area where I usually struggle with foundation. Despite having very dry skin that often feels parched with most base products, this one didn't give me that dry sensation! I mainly use foundation and don't own other cushion compacts, but I'll definitely consider this product when I'm in the market for a cushion foundation. Lastly, I paired this with Rom&nd's Better Than Cheek in Blueberry Chip, and compared to other brand's base products, it worked exceptionally well with the blusher! As mentioned earlier, due to its thin application, it doesn't completely conceal areas with pigmentation like around the mouth. Also, while it's not excessive, it does transfer slightly onto masks. I've previously used up an entire Rom&nd Zero Cushion. Comparing the two, the Zero Cushion definitely had better coverage. However, it felt much thicker on application compared to the Clear Cover Cushion. I really like how the Clear Cover Cushion applies very thinly yet still manages to cover pores well! (Note: My pores aren't particularly prominent, so individual results may vary!) I haven't tried the Better Than Matte Cushion, so I can't compare. But as someone who prefers a thin application, I'd especially recommend this product to those who frequently use cushion foundations!
