No darkening, great coverage, and excellent adherence to the skin. I really like it! The only downside is that the color has a slightly yellow undertone and is a bit dark. I wish there was a lighter shade available. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2021
It strikes a nice balance - not too greasy, not too dry! It does a decent job covering pores and seems like a solid, reliable choice. It has quite a yellow undertone, so I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for a pink base! I bought it thinking it was pink-based, but it feels much yellower than expected, so I don't find myself reaching for it often. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 10, 2021
Advantages - The adherence is excellent. It instantly clings to the skin, feeling like a second skin. It's not overly sticky, so those skilled with makeup application might be able to prevent it from transferring to masks. I'd like to commend the product packaging for incorporating traditional Korean elements. Drawbacks - Due to its strong adherence, it can be quite matte and may become messy when touching up. The color isn't as bright as expected and has a noticeable yellow undertone, which is disappointing. There's also some darkening over time. Despite the matte texture, the coverage isn't particularly outstanding, so a concealer is a must! It might look beautiful on those with smooth skin. While the product packaging is pretty, its durability is somewhat lacking. The cushion puff is larger than the case, which initially made me think it was defective when I couldn't close the lid. It seems like a budget-friendly option, but it's unfortunate that refills aren't available. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 11, 2020
Case: The moment I received it, I thought 'The case is beautiful!' It has this pearlescent, luminous look that's really captivating. Puff: The puff has a slight edge to it, which is great for precisely applying makeup to the contours of your face. Coverage: While I don't usually prioritize coverage when buying cushions, this one offers quite good coverage. It won't completely hide blemishes, but it does a good job concealing most skin imperfections. It doesn't feel heavy though, so I'd recommend it to those who want coverage without that thick makeup feel. Adherence: It adheres really well to the skin when applied. I love that there's minimal transfer even when wearing a mask. In these times when we always need to wear masks, having a base that doesn't rub off is a big plus. Finish: It feels moisturizing at first, but after application, it's closer to a semi-matte finish. Color: I was expecting a pink-based, bright color, but when I received it, it had more yellow undertones and a grayish cast than I anticipated. I was disappointed as I had high hopes for the color. Pore Emphasis and Caking: I was surprised to see that it emphasized my pores when I first applied a thin layer. When I tried to build it up, it left marks on my skin texture and started to cake. It worked a bit better when I applied it over a well-moisturized base in the morning. This product might be more suitable for oily skin types rather than dry skin. For best results, make sure your skin is well-hydrated, use a light hand, and apply thin layers rather than piling on too much product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 7, 2020
First off, the packaging is absolutely stunning. The way it reflects light is just gorgeous. With all the mask-wearing lately, my skin's been acting up, but using the included puff to gently pat it on provides great coverage. I was worried it might be a bit dark and yellow for my skin tone, but it actually blended well with my natural redness, resulting in a nice, balanced finish. It does a good job covering pores too. I love how it gives a slight glow while still having a semi-matte finish. After applying it properly, there was minimal transfer onto my mask. Since I'm used to wearing drying foundations, I didn't experience any discomfort throughout the day. For reference, I usually use Double Wear in Porcelain. The shade was a bit dark and yellow for me, so I hope they expand their color range as the product gains popularity. (See photo. Top: applied side / Bottom: bare side) This isn't really a con, more of a usage tip: if you haven't exfoliated well, it can emphasize dead skin cells and make your skin look dry. Interestingly, on days when my skin texture isn't great, it can look matte but flaky. However, on days when I've exfoliated and moisturized well, it maintains its initial appearance throughout the day. Also, be careful to blend it well before putting on a mask, or it can transfer everywhere. I tried applying it with a foundation brush, which gave less coverage but a nice, thin layer. I added 1-2 more layers on areas needing extra coverage. I like how natural it looks, so I'll probably use the brush often. This would have been even better in a mask-free era. I have a feeling I'll be repurchasing this.
