It removes all my eyeliner and eyebrow makeup completely. The fact that it takes everything off in one go is fantastic.
ConsIt does sting my eyes a bit though... That's why I always wipe it off with a tissue.

The scent was also quite to my liking.
ConsI wish it came in a pump bottle. It stings terribly if it gets in your eyes, though that's probably true for most removers... I ended up tearing up a bit.
TipFor eye makeup removal, saturate a cotton pad and hold it over your eyes for about 5 minutes before wiping. This method works really well.

Before removal // 2. After removing from cheeks // 3. Roughly removed eye makeup // To be honest, I didn't expect much from this cleansing water since they all seem similar, but wow...?? I really liked it. I usually have dry skin, and it gets extremely dry during seasonal changes. With other brands' cleansing waters, my face feels so tight afterwards that I have to apply toner immediately before washing. That's why I'm not a big fan of cleansing waters in general. But Dr.G was definitely different!! It feels incredibly hydrating when removing makeup, and instead of stripping moisture, it actually adds hydration. There's zero skin tightness. Being slightly acidic, it was also very gentle during removal. Usually, my face gets red after cleansing, but with Dr.G, there was no redness at all~ Despite being gentle, it has good cleansing effectiveness, so I can remove eye makeup without worry.
ConsBe careful when using it around your eyes as it can sting and irritate if it gets in!! Also, while it removes eyeliner well, it doesn't work as effectively on mascara..
TipFor eyes with mascara, I prefer using a cotton pad with oil instead of cleansing water!! Everyone says to soak a cotton pad with cleansing water, leave it on for a moment, and then wipe to remove makeup, but that didn't work for me..haha

Other cleansing waters were too stinging and irritating every time I used them, so I was hesitant to reach for them. But with this product, I can pat it on with a cotton pad and wipe without any irritation, making it really nice to use without worry. I absolutely love it...♡ #Hydrating I used to only use cleansing water for removing eye and lip makeup because it made my skin too tight and dry when removing face makeup. However, with this product, I don't feel any tightness or dryness even when removing face makeup, so I keep using it for that too! I was really satisfied with how gentle and hydrating it is, and these two factors alone made me want to repurchase it! #Scent The scent is very, very subtle. It almost feels unscented, but there's a slight soap-like fragrance that isn't off-putting at all! #Cleansing effectiveness It removes makeup cleanly and effectively. Every time I cleanse my face, I'm surprised by how much dirt comes off... (though this could be due to fine dust in the air...) I trust it more than other cleansing waters for removing face makeup! However, it doesn't completely remove or leaves traces of heavier waterproof makeup or mascara (which is a bit disappointing...) Quick review: Although the cleansing power is slightly disappointing for heavy makeup, I intend to repurchase and stick with it due to its gentleness and hydrating properties!!!
Cons#Eye irritation When removing eye makeup, I usually soak a cotton pad and place it on my eyes to dissolve the makeup before wiping. Maybe because the product is so hydrating... it keeps getting into my eyes and it really stings a lot. It hurts so much that I end up using something else for my eyes... #Price to volume ratio The price to volume ratio is a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if it's because I use it generously for removing face makeup, but I went through it really quickly... So it feels a bit expensive for what you get.. I'll have to stock up during sales.

I loved that it wasn't irritating, probably due to its great ingredients! After developing acne-prone skin, I've been searching for gentle products with good ingredients, and this one fits the bill perfectly! 2. It removes most cosmetics effectively! I thought it might not cleanse well because it's gentle, but it removed everything except waterproof products, which was a pleasant surprise!
Cons1. It stung terribly when it got into my eyes. 2. For that price, I think I could find a cheaper product with decent ingredients.
TipAs with any product, rubbing too hard can cause irritation. For a gentle first cleanse, saturate a cotton pad with the cleansing water, place it over your eyes, and gently wipe. Also, using the right amount on the cotton pad should prevent it from getting into your eyes.

The scent is close to fragrance-free, with just a slight chemical smell due to the absence of added fragrances. It effectively removes my Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, matte lipsticks, long-lasting tints, eyeshadows, and even waterproof eyeliners! It's great at removing excess oil and feels lightweight, giving me that fresh, clear skin feeling. It even wipes away fine dust particles so well! The gentle, mild formula seems to have improved my complexion. I think this might be the best cleansing water I've used so far! The narrow opening makes it easy to control the amount, so there's likely to be no waste.
ConsThe price is a bit on the higher side. It can sting a little if it gets in your eyes. Other than that, it worked so well for me that I can't really think of any other downsides!
TipFor a thorough cleanse that reaches even into fine lines, try using it with thin, embossed pads similar to toner pads!

I've used Dr.G peeling gel before, so I already had a positive impression of the brand. After using this cleansing water, I'm eager to try more of their products! I don't wear makeup often, so I shared this with my family. Even though my siblings and I have super sensitive skin and usually can't use water-based products, this one was gentle enough for us to use comfortably. Cleansing products often have a characteristic tightness and dryness, so I've always looked for less drying options. Dr.G's cleansing water was great because it allowed for a hydrating and soft cleansing experience.
ConsThe downside was that while I was satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness and how it didn't dry out my skin, it did cause a slight tingling sensation in my eyes. Nevertheless, I'll continue using it for removing makeup from my lips and skin.

Positives: • Being slightly acidic, it doesn't sting after cleansing and doesn't irritate my skin much • My skin feels hydrated after use, and I'm surprised how well it removes facial dirt and sebum • It gently cleanses while being a large bottle, so I can use it generously on cotton pads without worry • Removes most basic makeup effectively
ConsDrawbacks: • Doesn't completely remove waterproof makeup • Stings if it gets in your eyes • While the volume is generous, the price is a bit disappointing

It easily removes sunscreen and matte eyeshadow in one go. So, I tried it with high hopes on days when I wore foundation, mascara, waterproof eyeliner, and shimmery eyeshadow, but it took about 3 wipes... It couldn't remove everything in one go. * The ingredients are great. I prioritize ingredients because I get blemishes immediately if I use products with incompatible ingredients. After using it for about a week, I didn't get any skin issues. I've had so many products that didn't suit me that I've even taken acne medication while using skincare, but this one's ingredients work so well for me, I'm thrilled! * It's a mildly acidic product. They say all skin functions perform best in a slightly acidic environment, right? Being a gentle, mildly acidic product makes me reach for it more often.
Cons* It stings if it gets in your eyes. I tried using it with a cotton pad and also by massaging it directly with my hands, but inevitably, some product gets into the eyes when removing eye makeup. It's uncomfortable to keep wiping away mascara and shimmery eyeshadows that don't come off in one go while your eyes are stinging...
TipIt's great for refreshingly cleansing on days when you've worn light makeup.

The generous 490ml size means you can use it liberally without worrying about running out. I love that the ingredients are gentle, and it's slightly acidic, which means it's non-irritating for the skin! What I particularly appreciated was that it's fragrance-free. I prefer unscented cosmetics over scented ones, so this was a big plus for me! While those who like fragranced products might find this disappointing, if you're like me and prefer fragrance-free, you'll be very satisfied! I tested this product on eyebrow mascara, tint, pen eyeliner, gel eyeliner, and mascara as shown in the photos! The bottom left image is after one wipe, and the bottom right is after rubbing vigorously (though you wouldn't rub your face that hard, of course!). Everything came off except for the gel eyeliner and mascara. The gel eyeliner did come off with a bit more pressure. However, this cleansing water alone wasn't quite enough to completely remove mascara and gel eyeliner.
ConsOn the downside, it stings a little if it gets in your eyes. To be fair, I've never used a cleansing water that didn't sting at all when it got in my eyes... but it's still a bit disappointing. While I mentioned the generous size as a plus, that's only when considering the volume alone... When you factor in the price, you might not feel as free to use it liberally. If you're expecting exceptional cleansing effectiveness, you might be a bit let down.
TipFor items like mascara, use it together with a dedicated remover or cleansing oil!
