I bought this for my teenager's blemishes, but I tried it myself with my dry skin. At first, I thought it was a bit thin when applying, but it absorbs quickly and the hydration lasts long. My teen, who has oily skin with lots of blemishes, also tried it and said it seems to calm down inflamed blemishes. It looks like the whole family can use this. The amount is generous, and I'd like to repurchase it for myself. The price is a bit high. We'll need to use it sparingly when applying. In summer, you could probably get away with just applying this. In the evening, I mix a drop of jojoba oil with this, and it keeps my skin hydrated until morning, eliminating the need for separate toner and emulsion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2021
It absorbs quickly and gives a soothing sensation. I'm really satisfied using this product as it helps with the excess heat on my face. The price is quite high unless it's on sale. However, considering the quality ingredients, I can overlook the cost. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2021
As one of The Hwahae Testers, I'm excited to share my experience after using this soothing gel for two weeks! My skin tends to get heated easily and I'm prone to redness, so I always keep a variety of calming and cooling products on hand. What struck me most about this product was its exceptional ability to reduce redness and soothe my skin! I can see myself reaching for it even more frequently during hot summer months. The gel has a lovely texture that absorbs beautifully into the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated like an emulsion. The overall user experience is fantastic. Personally, I'm considering repurchasing this product specifically for its skin-calming properties. One area for improvement would be the packaging - I think a pump dispenser would be more hygienic than the current tube design. Given that this is such an effective calming product, I believe emphasizing its cooling properties in the marketing could help attract new users who might not be familiar with it. Lastly, since it's such a versatile cooling product that can be used for various purposes like heat relief, it would be great to see a larger size option available. I found that mixing it with my favorite serum not only provided a soothing effect but also boosted hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2021
It had a calming effect on my skin, and I especially loved that there was no noticeable scent. I thought it would be a transparent aloe-like gel since it's called a soothing gel, but it wasn't what I expected. When you squeeze it, more product comes out than you'd think. The first time I tried it right after receiving it, I gave it a gentle squeeze and was surprised by how much came out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2021
I loved the smooth texture and how quickly it absorbs well. It helped soothe my skin that became super sensitive after toning laser treatment. At first, it seemed to calm my sensitive skin with a cooling effect, but soon I felt deep dryness. After applying it twice, the emulsion started pilling. It seems this product struggles to address deep dryness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2021
When I applied it to my face that felt hot, it quickly calmed down. I also tried it on my dry hands in winter, and it absorbed nicely without feeling greasy. My child with acne used it too and said it felt gentle and refreshing without any stickiness. After some time, the moisturizing effect seems to diminish slightly. I wish the hydration would last a bit longer. It's great for applying lightly when you feel hot after exercising or when blemishes are starting to appear. It calms the skin down quickly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2021
I got to try this product as a winner from The Hwahae Testers. Around my period, my body feels heavy and my skin gets dull with a burning sensation. When I feel this heat and see dead skin cells, I apply a generous amount of this soothing gel over my serum before bed. I was amazed to wake up with my irritated, reddish skin calmed and clarified. The dryness was gone too. Scent: Personally, I liked that it's almost fragrance-free as I'm not a fan of strong scents. I prefer products without artificial fragrances, especially for sensitive skin. Texture: It's a milky, soft gel that feels cool and gentle on the skin, making me want to apply it repeatedly. It would be especially refreshing if kept in the fridge during summer. Unlike many gel products that feel moisturizing at first but become tight after a few minutes, this Green Soothing Gel has a thinner consistency yet maintains its hydration surprisingly well. I plan to use it consistently when I have flaking skin or feel heat on my face. Overall: I'm very satisfied with how it performs on sensitive skin. It's particularly great at addressing both the heat sensation and accompanying dryness. I also appreciate the brand name 'Reducing Body Burden Project'. I don't have any complaints so far. If I must mention something, maybe the packaging color? Perhaps a translucent milky color similar to the product inside, with mint or light gold lettering? It's not a special tip, but applying a generous amount on a folded cotton pad and placing it on areas with intense heat feels incredibly cool, moisturizing, and quickly calms the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinMar 1, 2021
As a parent, I've tried various soothing gels, and this one stands out for its excellent absorption and hydration. It's great for calming the skin when your face feels hot or irritated. Considering the price, many brands offer soothing products with frequent sales and discounts. Unless this product really highlights its strengths or shows exceptional results, I might hesitate to repurchase it. When your face or body feels hot, it's really refreshing to use a massage ball to roll the product in, helping it absorb while cooling the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2021
For my dry, sensitive skin prone to blemishes, this provides just the right amount of hydration and soothing effects without causing irritation. While it's generally challenging to moisturize dry skin with soothing gels alone, this one is actually suitable for those with dry skin. It doesn't absorb instantly, but it does have a nice texture that absorbs well. It seems to be fragrance-free, likely due to the absence of harsh ingredients. The emulsion-like texture doesn't provide long-lasting hydration for dry skin. It might be more suitable for combination dehydrated skin. Applying a moisturizer after this product helps to lock in the hydration and prolong its effects. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 24, 2021
I have combination skin prone to deep dryness, blemishes, and super sensitive skin! When I first applied it, it didn't feel like a gel, but more like a very light emulsion. It absorbs well! I thought it might feel oily, but after absorption, there's no stickiness - just a refreshing feeling that made me think 'What's this?'. My elementary school daughter is using it too, and it seems to have slightly calmed her acne! Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't get any blemishes during the week of use! Personally, I really like the tube packaging! If you have dry skin, you might need to apply more moisturizer! Keeping it in the fridge could give a nice cooling effect. My skin was in terrible condition, but after washing my face and applying this a couple of times, it's calming down nicely!
