The ingredients are all good, and it's a lightweight, water-based formula that's suitable for all skin types without being sticky, so it's likely to be universally liked. Usually, when you think of a soothing gel texture, you imagine a transparent formula, but this product has an opaque texture similar to an emulsion, just slightly thinner. You can layer it multiple times without any pilling. The finish feels light like a serum or ampoule, with a high moisture content that provides an immediate cooling effect upon application. It absorbs quickly, leaving only a minimal moisturizing layer. There are no pore-clogging ingredients, making it suitable for blemish-prone skin, and it's great for calming and cooling, helping to reduce redness and heat in the skin. When applied multiple times on the body, there was a slight itching sensation. On the face, there was no irritation with the first layer, but from the second application onwards, I felt some itching and a slight tingling. While the ingredients list itself doesn't seem problematic, it appears there might be something that doesn't agree with my skin personally. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2021
Unlike other soothing gels that are transparent, this has a texture between a cream and gel, making it easy to apply. After absorption, it creates a film-like layer on the face, similar to a primer, slightly improving the skin texture. It's reassuring to use since it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. After using it for about 3 days, I found it's not quite enough on its own, but when used with jojoba oil, it doesn't cause any dryness or blemishes. While other products have caused breakouts during my pregnancy, this one doesn't. Currently, my skin is extremely dry due to pregnancy, with white dead skin cells forming, and the area around my lips feels red and cracked. After applying this, my face stings and the area under my lips, where dead skin usually appears, becomes very red and irritated. One application doesn't feel hydrating enough, so I applied it three or four times, but it still feels somewhat lacking. It might be too much to use this product alone. The hydration from a single application is insufficient; you need to apply it two or three times. I'll update my review after using it for a few more days. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 19, 2021
The immediate cooling effect helps reduce heat sensation (though it comes back quickly, unfortunately). It absorbs well, and after it's absorbed, you can feel a firming effect. It seems perfect for summer use. It's likely to suit oily skin types too. I thought it would be transparent since it's a gel, but it's actually an emulsion type. When applied, it feels minty and gives a burning, tingling sensation (though this decreases as you get used to it). At first it's cool, but then my skin feels hot again. It doesn't quite meet expectations for heat reduction. Hmm, I don't think it agrees with me. I wonder which ingredient is causing issues. The hydration is lacking, sadly. I keep it in the refrigerator before use. If you want more hydration, try applying it twice.
