It applies smoothly without feeling thick, providing decent coverage for scars and redness. Being moisturizing, it leaves a subtle glow after patting, which is perfect for my large pores. I'm really satisfied with how it makes my skin look. This product made me fall in love with dewy cushion compacts after only using matte powders. As someone who prefers to tone down my makeup to match my neck, I found the shade 23 to be natural and flattering. As I have super sensitive skin, using this product alone caused blemishes and worsened my redness, ultimately forcing me to discontinue use. I thought I had found my holy grail cushion compact, but it's such a disappointment... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2022
This foundation gives your skin a truly beautiful finish! I've tried many cushions, but NARS seems to be the best. It doesn't settle into pores, provides just the right amount of glow without being excessive or insufficient, and has great staying power. I've also tried the South shade, and while I usually use shade 21, the Finland shade suited me better as I prefer a more natural complexion. The price... undoubtedly, the price is the main drawback. Compared to more affordable cushions, it's almost twice as expensive, and the fact that refills are sold separately is really disappointing. Also, the amount of product feels smaller for the price you pay. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2021
It applies thinly and seems to provide medium to high coverage. True to its name as a 'glow cushion', it leaves a subtle radiance after application. I really liked the natural luminous finish it gives. When it first came out, it was sold out both online and in stores, so I had a hard time getting my hands on it. Unfortunately, the quality wasn't quite what I expected. There's no refill option, and the main product alone costs over $70. While the case is thin and lightweight, which is nice, it also feels a bit toy-like. Despite being called a 'glow cushion', I thought it would be more hydrating, but it's actually quite matte and felt drying on my skin. As for the color, I bought shade 21 with a yellow base, which was recommended to me in-store as the Finland shade, but it's a bit dark for me and seems more like a shade 22. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2020
The 21-22 yellow base was the perfect color match for me. Absorption: It adheres well to the skin, blending seamlessly like a thin blur. It's adequately moisturizing, giving a subtle glow that's perfect for this season. Coverage: For such a thin and hydrating formula, it provides decent coverage. However, it doesn't completely conceal intense redness around the nose area, allowing a slight hint of redness to show through. Longevity: I was shocked when I looked in the mirror 7 hours after application... my skin looked flawless! Even after taking a nap, nothing had faded. The slight oiliness mixed in made my skin look incredibly healthy and radiant. I'm absolutely stunned. I think I'll be sticking with NARS from now on... You have to purchase the cushion case and refill separately, with the case costing 23,000 won at full price. After buying it, I can't understand why it's so expensive. It feels like a very lightweight plastic toy... I'm trying to console myself with the fact that once I have the case, I only need to buy refills, and it's NARS after all... But still, it feels a bit wicked! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJul 28, 2020
This foundation is a game-changer! It offers incredible hydration and a dewy glow, giving my skin an unbelievable finish. As someone with extremely dry skin, I've never experienced any patchiness or flaking. After a lifetime of foundations that left my face feeling like a desert, I've finally discovered one that's both natural-looking and moisturizing. Some reviews mentioned darkening, but I haven't experienced that at all. In fact, as time passes, it wears beautifully, breaking down in a way that makes my skin look even better... (maybe it's just me?). I switched from South Beach to Finland, and while South Beach had a pink undertone that made me look a bit paler than my natural skin tone, Finland matches my complexion perfectly. NARS, I'm in love! The product amount is really disappointing. And of course, the price is a bit steep. The case doesn't feel particularly sturdy either. But most of all, I'm let down by the puff applicator. It feels like it might tear at any moment. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2020
This is my holy grail cushion that I've repurchased over 10 times! My skin is combination type, and this product is on the moisturizing side, making it perfect for fall, winter, and spring. But I used it year-round, even in summer! It provides decent coverage and creates a beautiful glow. When I used the NARS Aqua Glow Cushion, I received so many compliments on my skin! Once, while traveling abroad, a foreigner even asked me what I use for my skin makeup - that's how amazing the skin finish is! I didn't really find any negatives while using it, but if I had to point out something, it would be that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get, and it contains some potentially problematic ingredients. Other than that, I didn't experience any disappointments when using it. I use this along with the NARS concealer, and I prefer using a damp beauty sponge instead of the included puff. With the NARS Aqua Glow Cushion Foundation, you don't need any special tips - you'll realize how good it is as soon as you try it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 20, 2020
The coverage is remarkably good, and I love how it fades naturally. I've been loyal to this cushion for two years since discovering it! It's perfect for winter, giving me that honey-like glow while keeping my skin hydrated. Due to its glowy finish, it might feel a bit heavy for summer wear. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2020
I discovered this product through a beauty YouTuber. The case is pretty, and I heard the ingredients and coverage were good, with a nice glow. I bought it and ended up loving it so much that I've gone through 5 refills! If you use an organic or hybrid sunscreen underneath, your face looks incredibly dewy, as if it's absorbed a ton of water. Since using this product, I've received so many compliments on my skin. It evens skin tone naturally while providing impressive coverage. In winter, as I mentioned, using just organic or hybrid sunscreen keeps it moisturizing. In summer, I apply mineral sunscreen first, then this product, and it's not excessive or greasy. I use it year-round! The case is quite fragile and shows even the tiniest scratches. It doesn't seem to live up to its price point. Stock up on this when you're at duty-free shops. If you're after that Inner Glow, use an organic sunscreen or facial oil before applying this product - it's perfect! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 19, 2020
I have dry skin with an oily nose, but when I use powder, it becomes extremely dry, especially under my eyes - it's a hopeless case of dry skin. I don't have many blemishes on my face, but my pores are a bit enlarged. First, the texture is somewhere between moisturizing and semi-matte. It's not overly hydrating. When first applied, there's a slight glow and moisturized feeling, but after a few minutes, it settles into a slightly matte finish. However, it's not completely matte - just a touch less dewy. Second, the adherence and longevity are outstanding. It applies smoothly with excellent adhesion right from the start. Even when pressed with fingers, it doesn't leave marks and feels like it's melding with the skin. It lasts about 10 hours, and even when it starts to fade after that, it does so beautifully. There's some oil production after a few hours, but no creasing or separation around the nose. Third, the color is a beautiful yellow base that's not too yellow. It's slightly darker than shade 21, but it matched me perfectly. It's a bit bright, but in a flattering way. It would likely be perfect for those who usually wear shade 21. Lastly, regarding coverage - while I don't need heavy coverage, it concealed a red spot on my philtrum well. It also covers dark circles effectively. For areas needing extra coverage, layering works well. Overall, I'd say the coverage is medium to high. This is honestly the best cushion I've ever used. Despite my dry skin, it doesn't feel too drying, nor does it get overly shiny - it just gives a beautiful glow. On days I wear this, I'm so happy with how my skin looks. I'm definitely repurchasing when I run out, even though it's expensive. Whoever created this deserves an award! First of all... as you might know, the price is... And the amount is quite small too. 12g at that price is quite expensive... Also, the case feels a bit flimsy. The locking mechanism? It's quite stiff. Why is the case like this at that price point...? For those with dry skin, make sure to prep your skin well with skincare before applying! Even though this is considered Nars' moisturizing line, it can feel a bit dry later on. So those with dry skin should definitely pay attention to their skincare routine. After applying the cushion, if you press it in again with a wedge puff (a slightly firmer puff), it lasts as long as when you first applied it! There was a noticeable difference between days when I did this and when I didn't. To increase longevity, pat it in again gently. The cushion itself is so good that I don't have many more tips to share... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2020
I was a cushion nomad, but I've finally settled down! Only a small amount provides great coverage, and after application, it feels incredibly moisturizing with a beautiful glow! It truly adheres to the skin perfectly. It's not just great for touch-ups, but also excellent as a one-and-done base makeup product! Everything's great except the price, which is a bit disappointing. Also, the compact seems a bit small, so if you use a slightly plumper cushion refill, the lid won't close properly... That's a shame. I'm using this along with the Aqua Glow Foundation!
